Hello travelers! Welcome to my little corner of the web! I'll be putting in a hide with more information on who I am in case you want to know, but the most important thing is that some days I may get depressed or be in a lot of pain, but that doesn't mean I've lost interest in any roleplays I'm in! I am older (35+), female, and live on disability with my wife. Otherwise I'm hoping to make some friends and great stories!

• Communication: Someone who can communicate with me clearly and with honesty - I know this can be hard sometimes and it can be nerve-wrecking at times, but I'm a huge believer in communication and working things out. Even if that conversation leads to the roleplay ending. On the same vein, while I don't like ghosting, I won't hold it against anyone - it can be scary to give someone potentially bad news! So if you don't reply after a week or so, I'll assume that you've moved on. However, you'll always be welcomed to message me later!
• Post Length: Quality over quantity as they say. As long as you give me something to work with and put forth effort to move the story along, it should be okay. ^^
• Mature: As far as adult themes, I am fine with most, however I will have to fade to black during any smut - it's okay if that's a deal breaker, but this is a rule for me. If you want it a little more light hearted, we can talk about that too!
• FxF: This may disappoint some people, but I generally only do FxF pairings if romance is involved. If you really want to play a male character and not have romance be a part of the story, I'm willing to try.
• 1x1x1: Probably not something that is usually mentioned, but I have tried and enjoyed triad romances very much! So if two people are interested in the same thing and are up for being in the same roleplay - that would be great!

• Genres & Themes: I am generally a fan of what I'd call a mix between the fluffy heroic/romantic settings and the truly dark and gritty. I like my role-play to have a bit of both - like there is a time and place for all facets of life.
  
  • Fantasy: Anything from the traditional fantasy with medium or high magic to steampunk-like worlds. I'm a fan of many types of fantasy! ^^
  • Sci-Fi: Less so than fantasy, but willing to give it an honest try if the hook is well done enough. I still tend to gravitate towards magic-like settings, but I also happen to be a big fan of AI and cyborgs.
  • Modern: For the most part, the only modern-like settings I tend to like are superhero settings. However if you add an interesting supernatural twist (magic, hunting monsters, etc), I might be interested!

@NecroKnight - Oh, nothing in particular. Just something epic that isn't stock like a necromancer or some crazy sorercess - something bigger and badder and more threatening to the land as a whole, even if it's behind the scenes.

Is the Forgotten Deity plot still among your favorites? It quite lit my interest.

@Lyla Hello there. I too am rather interested in the Forgotten Deity plot as well, if you'd have me. Albeit, @wXw did ask about it before i did to be fair about the matter. I would like to join Forgotten deity if possible, though i would settle for Therefore I Am if that came to be the case.

I am ultimately rather new to 1x1 roleplays, and have limited time on a computer each day due to irl responsibilities and such things, but i want to give a 1x1 RP an honest try despite only having some limited time on the computer each day. Though as as note: I will never disappear for two entire weeks, and will normally say if i cannot be here for more than a single day over PM or Discord if you want someone willing to communicate more often than not. I have a Discord account i used to use for World of Warcraft that i could use for communication as well, if you would be willing. :)

Well, for one thing I like its adaptability. Rather than being confined to a single genre or style, we could realistically play any setting we want; we could be an Achaemenid satrap and one of her cataphracts, a mamluk serving her Ottoman empress, Frankish knight and duke, really whatever we wanna do. Of course it could even be strictly fantasy, like a half-Victorian-half-medieval, gothpunk, old-school Castlevania type of deal.

I also like power dynamics in a pairing, as well as the obvious and multi-faceted sources of conflict, from arranged marriages to court intrigue to war.

And finally, I appreciate that you're not looking for smut, and that romance is strictly optional for you; something to be eased into if there's character chemistry, rather than coerced from the circumstance.
