Personality: Melvillie can be described as an overconfident arsehole by others. Being the heir to the Louis bloodline has gone to his head somewhat and has caused his ego to inflate somewhat as a result. Always willing to take charge and lead from the front. If you can get past his ego and inflated self-importance, you can see that Melville is a caring person who only wants to help others, believing fully in everything the Guild stands for.
Behind his ego is actually a young man who seeks validation for his power. There are plenty of times where he has been compared to the heirs of the other great families such as Salem and Aloysius. The comparison has never been in his favour. Given the age difference between himself and the other heirs, this has manifested an inferiority complex where Melville tries his best to prove to others that he is just as important. Add in a dash of family pride and the inferiority complex turns into a superiority complex.
If not being eaten alive by his own insecurities, Meville can be a rather chill person to hang with. around with. He can be energetic and anddairly carefree, preferring to go with the flow than have to micromanage anything. Melville’s lack of impulse control can force him to turn towards bad habits such as excessive drinking and the occasional use of drugs if the opportunity arises.
History/Bio: It was no secret to anyone in the magi world that the Louis bloodline was starting to falter. Centuries of De Silvia and Leighton dominance in the Guild had rendered the Louis family weak, teetering closer and closer to the cliff edge of insignificance. A desperate plan was formed; Find the two strongest mages in the family line and force them to have a child. Inbreeding was still a rather unknown science in the magi world. There had been a few cases where breeding within a family line could bolster the magical power further down the line. But it really was a lottery. If you could get lucky, combine the magical power of the parents and get a daughter out of it, then you were well on the path to success.
Fast forward 9 months later and Melville was born. The plan had failed. While Mervillie had a good portion of his parents' combined power, the fact that he was a male had dampened their chances of creating a perfect weapon to lead the family to glory. Melville had now become a salvage project. The other heirs to the great families were not born yet, so maybe the Guild Leader would have a bad night and everything would balance out.
Since his parents only came together to create a child instead of loving each other there was no need for them to stay together. In fact as soon as his mother had been impregnated, his father simply went back to his normal life. His childhood was nothing special or out of the ordinary. His magical powers wouldn’t manifest until their teens, and it was then he would finally be tested.
As Melville grew older he began to notice the two small dots on his chest begin to transform. Slowly each year their shape was different and expanding. His mother had for the most part avoided explaining the situation to Melville, deciding instead to explain everything when he started displaying his powers. His powers finally manifested just before his 14th birthday when in a fit of rage at losing a game, he made it fly across the room and hit the wall. Now that his power had revealed itself it was time for Melville to go and travel to Guild HQ to receive training. Normally magi in Europe would stay in Europe, but given his status he was required to go out to New York.
His education in magic was routine, just like any other heir really. However trouble started to brew as he discovered the truth behind his creation and what happens to heirs of the families. Born as a desperate attempt to create a weapon, failing, and then being sent to New York to serve the De Silva’s at the Guild to maintain the peace between the families. His past and future had all been planned, well before he had been born. He was the failed project that the family was attempting to salvage.
Rage ensued. A rebellious streak awakened from within Melville as he began to lash out at authority. Punishment after punishment followed, The Guild leader trying to get him to see sense. Nothing seemed to work and Melville became more and more and more out of control. After turning 20 however, Melville had finally made peace with himself and his surroundings. Realising the part he had to play in the protection of the whole world. He might not bring the Louis family to the throne, but he can make sure that their name is full of renown and fame. While he might still harbour some saltiness towards his fate, he is much more composed about it.

Can walk along the Ethereal plane and then blink back to the mortal plane in a new location. Reverse Gravity - In a 50ft radius cylinder, Zach reverses gravity, sending everything unanchored to the ground upwards to 100ft. If there is a solid object blocking the 100ft then it counts as slamming into it. | B A C K G R O U N D Zach's childhood in Tanner was anything but idyllic. His parents were both warlocks, and were somewhat shocked that they had managed to birth a witch. Not that they really cared. Zach wasn't a planned birth, and was the result of a very drunken night of love. As such growing up, Zach was left mostly to his own devices, being left at the Coven to learn magic so he was out of his parents way. Moving into High School, he took odd jobs to make himself more independent and provide some funds. He bought a guitar and began to learn it, spending weekends busking in the park. While he wasn't a bad person per se, his relaxed personality, attracted a certain kind of bully, and Zach had no issue going toe to toe with them and laying them out. He gained a reputation as a brawler who didn't care who he fought. As he entered his later teen years he began to explore his sexuality, and settled on not being picky. So long as he got his every night, he didn't care where he got it from. If someone had anything bad to say about it, they could gladly eat an fist. He ended up keeping a little black book, where he detailed and rated all the people he slept around with and their numbers. Deciding that college might be of some use, he decided to enroll at Olympia while studying for a music degree. Unlike his fellow Tanner members, Zach stayed the course and got a degree in the musical arts. Suffice to say he did spend way too much time partying and sleeping around, practicing his flirting on any guy or gal that would reciprocate it back. Returning to Tanner was the last thing he wanted to do. But the message from Carlisle to return to the coven pulled him back. He doesn't know how to feel about coming back. With his reputation, and some of the state he left relationships in before his retreat to college. P E R S O N A Zach's personality is marked by aggression, self-centeredness, and a lack of control over his emotions. He is someone who tends to act impulsively and without much consideration for the consequences of his actions. At the core of Zach's personality is his aggressiveness. He has a tendency to be confrontational and combative, and he often responds to even minor conflicts with a disproportionate level of anger and hostility. This makes him difficult to work with and even harder to be around. Zach is also extremely self-centered, and he tends to view the world through the lens of how it affects him personally. He has little patience for other people's needs or concerns, and he often prioritizes his own desires over the needs of others. This can make him come across as callous and insensitive. For him everything is about self enjoyment. He has no issue going from one night stand to one night stand. Zach struggles with controlling his emotions. He is prone to outbursts of anger and frustration, and he has a difficult time regulating his emotions in stressful situations. This can make him unpredictable and difficult to trust, as people never quite know how he will react to a given situation. Overall, Zach is a challenging personality to deal with. His aggression, self-centeredness, and lack of emotional control make him a volatile and unpredictable presence in any group or social setting. F L A W S Zach's biggest flaw is his selfishness. Everything he does stems from his desire to please himself. Therapists would say that he seeks self pleasure to make up for the lack of love he received as a child. In reality, he just wants to enjoy himself. To him, violence is always the answer, and the more violence the better. friendships with him can be strained, and anyone willing to be friends with either has to be really understanding, or be willing to roll with his punches, sometimes literally. After the spell the duplicate items disappear. Divination Augury - Using ornate cards, Kirstie can ask the spirits for information about the outcome of something specific in the next 30 minutes. Locate Creature - Kirstie can locate any person or creature that she knows if they are within a mile of Kirstie. She can also locate the nearest of a different species (I.E Magi, Werewolves) so long as she is aware of them. Fortune’s Favour - Kirstie can infuse luck into a person she touches, including herself. For the next hour the person finds that lady luck is always on their side. | B A C K G R O U N D Born into the more affluent area of Tanner, Kirstie wasn't left wanting for anything growing up. Her mother was a lawyer working mostly in Seattle and her father owned one of the local doctors surgeries. Due to their demanding schedules, alot of Kirstie's upbringing was done by nannies and childminders. In school, Kirstie managed to raise her social profile to become the 'queen bee'. Always in charge of the most elite social circle, Kirstie relished in using her power to say what was hot and what was not, people's entire popularity lived and died by her word. As she grew up into her teen years, she was so used to people saying yes to her whether it was at home or at school, that the word 'no' seemingly dropped out her lexicon. She knew that she would eventually begin developing powers. After discovering that she could divine and create illusions, she realised that the system was open to abuse. Being able to predict or even outright see certain events in the future helped. The only issue was that she ended up making enemies of other fellow diviners. It was at this point Kirstie realised that her visions were only accurate if people didn't meddle in events. And other diviners were experts at knowing exactly what to mess with. She was too popular to be taken down, but her final few years was a battle, she tried to apply herself to her magical studies for the first time, but couldn't quite pick it up as well as others. Therefore she was always being outplayed on the magical chessboard. Still, at least the preppy girls of Tanner High followed her like their lives depended on it. Well, their social lives did depend on it. Kirstie wasn't exactly keen to go to university, but went to uni at Seattle and chose a simple Social Studies degree. Away from her normal social circles, Kirstie struggled to make new friends, as uni students weren't as manipulative as high school girls. She returned to Tanner with a slightly bruised ego, more so that she now has to work for the Coven. P E R S O N A Kirstie is a headstrong woman who is full of confidence. She doesn't exactly back down from anything when she thinks she is right. She is a fairly responsible person at least in her own eyes. Sometimes she is only responsible if it benefits her. She has an uncanny attention to detail, and at times, can be hyperfocused. She becomes very protective of her true friends as she doesn't have an awful lot of them. F L A W S Kirstie can be a vicious woman when she needs to be. She prefers not to be physical however and instead use physiological methods instead. Using his ill gotten gains he splashed out on the town of Edgebaston, and bought nearly every expensive business in the town. His crowning glory however was the Edgebaston Country club, built from scratch and serving as a head of his new little empire.
Growing up, Alistair III didn’t want for nothing. Everything he could possibly have ever wanted was given to him. Suffice to say, he was spoiled. A lot. He went to the best schools in the area and even had private tuition, but when it came to Highschool, His father had already picked where he was going: Edgebaston, his own Alma Mater. Alistair excelled at school, not because of talent or skill, but because money talks. His father is the single biggest donator to the school beyond school fees and as a result, Alistair just finds that things go his way. He isn’t used to finding obstacles. But he spends most of his time defending his sister, or at least looking after her when she gets herself into some kind of trouble.

- Has had a passion for making songs and playing Guitar. But his skill isn’t the best. Despite having numerous private tutors at his fathers expense. He failed to make it onto the school's advanced music programme. However a donation to the school very quickly fixed that. As a result he isn’t well liked by his musical peers.

No one can really pinpoint the time since magic came into existence. Some are convinced that magic has always existed. That it was the catalyst that created our universe and that is why it is buried deep into the fabric of reality. Regardless of how magical essence came to become a thing, select humans have been able to access this deeper layer of reality, bubbling away beneath the surface. These humans became mages, and have spent their whole lives trying to understand the nature of reality through their new perspective. The mages quickly realised that they couldn't reveal the existence of magic to the wider world. They had tried several times before. But for those that could not see magic, it was something that they couldn't quite comprehend, and in some cases, felt threatened by.
This pertained the need to be able to train Mages in secret while also giving them the space to be able to be able to learn without threatening or endangering the mundane. The solution was quite simple in retrospect. Their were many realities beyond the one seen on earth, and since mages could create doorways between them using their magic, it made sense to hide them away in pocket realities. This worked for a while, but it was always seen as an inconvenience.
In the late 1950's a new idea was trialled. A island archipelago in the sea between Sweden and Finland was purchased and a whole new town was built: Polstjärnan (Meaning Polaris or North Star in Swedish). The town then had a magical academy built on its outskirts. In order to protect the magic users in the town

Personality
Aloysius goes around with a holier than thou attitude and can at times be a total jerk or ass to those around him. He isn’t a bully per se, he just wants to be left alone. His mind is stuck in the past about what could have been, and the fact he is left in this dump of a town, is a travesty. One that even after all these years, he still hasn’t quite adjusted to.
If someone was to go through the hassle of getting to know Aloysius, and not get repulsed away, there is a good man in there. He does care about his family, and a few friends, but he hides in sarcasm and comebacks of various degrees of wit.

History
Aloysius Leighton was supposed to be rich. The Leighton name was one of wealth, and stature. His father owned and ran a Japanese arms business and money growing up wasn’t an issue, that was until his father died when he was young. His mother, who had been obsessed with money, inherited everything. Kids however, who were part of his fathers idea of securing legacy - were not. His mother shipped himself and his younger sister Lola out to Westpoint Ridge to go live with his Auntie Flo and Uncle Roger at age 5.
Flo and Roger didn’t exactly have the most luxury of lifestyle. Owning an old diner cart on the old high street, the pair have lived a simple life for most of their lives. They agreed to take on the Leighton Siblings just to avoid the pair being put up for adoption. Aloysius had to grow up not really knowing what luxury was, something that only hurt him more when he learnt more about other and father. Thankfully money was left in the will for both himself and Lola, but it is dependent on the pair becoming 18 respectively. One more year of High School, and Aloysius can get his pay and blow this lame ass town…. Or buy it all and level it and build a better town in his image…

Carolyn West had the unthinkable disease - Rubella, striking near the start of the pregnancy. No one was entirely sure what the effects were going to be, but upon being born, it was clear that Lucas could not see. His family weren’t on the poverty line, but paying for all the adjustments to the house for Lucas was expensive. The family are currently trying to pay to move to a slightly larger house so Lucas can have a downstairs bedroom for easier access.
The school begrudgingly agreed to pay for some alterations, such as fitting ramps to the entrances and installing a lift so Lucas didn’t have to use the stairs all the time. While most people are okay, and support this, some are resentful and see it as special treatment, especially when more of the already non-existent extra-curricular funding had to go away to find the budget shortfall. He is currently on the waiting list to get a seeing-eye dog, and hopes to get one soon. Until then he is still very reliant on people around him to be considerate.
He has a passion for music, and can play a wide variety of instruments despite not being able to see. He can feel the vibrations of each instrument and has used them alongside hearing the notes played to help him learn.
