The heavy sound of metal crashing against metal and the roar of thrusting echoed through the Junkyard. A group of five mechs, all the same model leap from pillar of steel to pillar of steel, using their thrusters to bounce off the giant structures of rusting metal. The group of mercenaries had just finished up with a search and destroy mission put out on a group of local bandits whom thought it a good idea to run the salvage operations of a local business. Having sustained minimal damage to their mechs, the unit was rather happy and proceeded back towards Haven to cash their checks.

The pilot of one particular mech let out a sigh from her cockpit, having spent the better part of the last half hour listening to her team mates discuss the correct instrument to clean their ears with. Disgusting pigs. She was only stirred from her bored parkour by the arrival of two blips on her radar. Rogue mechs, huh? Lissa had nothing to do once she arrived back in Haven. The bandits barely put up a fight for her and her comrades and frankly, her trigger finger was itching. Having just tuned up the Schwarzeisen there was a burning desire to see how far she could push her mech.

"This is Iron-3, I've got something on radar. Gonna go check it out. Proceed to Haven without me." She announced via the commslink. The bastards didn't even notice her. Without bothering to attempt to cut in on their stimulating conversation, her stylish black mech peeled off from the other four and began to bounce its way towards the two blips, thrusting propelling her quickly and efficiently towards the two, whom she quickly realized were three. A stand off, perhaps? Deciding it was best to not intervene, she maneuver her robot up a particularly large chunk of metal she could only assume came from some kind of battleship. Once her thrusters had brought her to the peak she cut them off and landed with grace on top the decaying platform, bringing up a visual on the three mechs. Rifle clenched in the huge hands of her baby, she waited to see what would transpire, vaguely able to detect the biggest mech's speakers blaring from her distant position.

Jonathan swore loudly, cursing the world in general as he checked the channel he was broadcasting on. After confirming that he hadn't, in fact, been on a private channel like he thought he was, the insomniac pilot hit another switch. All of the external speakers on the Reichsritter turned off at once, leaving open only the private channel directly to the Moloch. Metal pistons creaked as he accelerated toward the newest threat, catching only the barest hints of speech over the distance and the rumbling footsteps of the charging giant. The huge suit's over-large thrusters opened fully about halfway to the target sniper, barely getting into speaking range in time to hear clearly "...Junkyard?". Jonathan grunted something about idiocy under his breath, before ramming the power to his thrusters up to maximum and letting the resulting discharge of heat and force launch him forward, closing the distance much faster than anything of that size should move.

The Moloch remained behind cover, although after a few seconds of utter silence it turned gently and swiftly around to examine the Schwarzeisen skylining itself atop the ruin of the Junkyard. Using the radio, August mumbled through what sounded like chewy candy; "Johnathan, there's more company."
After a few seconds of continued statue-esque stillness, one of the forward manipulator arms on the Moloch's snout waved in a curiously human-like fashion, as if asking whether the newest newcomer was friend or foe. "Also: Why are you picking a fight with someone who hasn't even threatened us yet? That seems particularly stupid."

"uh-oh." They said with a look of idiotic worry. They engaged the wheels and thrusters and started to make a tactical movement, instead of retreating they flanked to the left. They noticed the mech waving and lowered their sniper a little and waved back, still moving to not engage the other mech charging them. They stopped and decided that the mech wasn't going to stop any time soon so they made their way towards the charging mech and used the thrusters to leap over and pull up to the mech that waved.

"What's this guys problem? I was simply introducing myself." he asked with a tone of curiosity over the speakers. They placed the hand of the mech on top of the one beside them and simply made the mech look confused. They were purposely mocking the other mech at how slow it was compared to Kitoro and its advanced movement systems.

"Hey i don't suppose you wanna stop trying to kill me anytime soon?" he asked the obviously angry person inside the mech charging.

Jonathan's response to August was as sarcastic as it was offensive. "Oh yes, I fucking love charging long-range mecha because of my crippling self doubt makes me want to get shot on the spot, and it obviously doesn't have a single thing to do with how shitty it is to attempt to pick up actual speaker noise at this range." He muted his microphone, with a mutter of 'stupid asshole' as he brought the Reichsritter to a rumbling halt inside speaker range of the Kirito . After a moment or two of fiddling around with the massive console, he wired the sound detecting sensors directly to the mike so that his new friend August could hear as well. With everything in place, the metal monolith glared almost angrily at the sniper, its baleful yellow eyelight seeming to emulate the stress of its owner. The speakers crackled to life. "If I was trying to kill you, you stupid fuck, I'd... do much the same but I wouldn't stop here to chat and shit, yeah? Don't be a stupid asshole and repeat whatever the fuck you're gonna say in a range that makes sense so people can hear you."

"You should probably adopt a much less antagonistic run, then. Seems rather like asking someone if they want cake by waking them up in the middle of the night with a knife in your hand." As August spoke over the radio to Johnson he slowly but purposefully used his anti-armor gatling cannon to shove the Kitoro's hand off the Moloch's snout, rather like someone using a log to flop a drunken man off a bench. "I don't know if you've noticed this, but the morning's gotten a good deal more exciting than I bargained for. Are they usually this. . .crowded around here?"

Reuven Eisenschwanz completed his diagnostics of his mech, having already retreated from the conversation among his fellow mercenaries. He went over his assignment in his head, they had already tracked down their targets, now they simply waited in Haven for their arrival so they might follow them across the dunes. Mercenaries hunting mercenaries, how ironic. After a couple hours of waiting around, Reuven decided he would go scout the surrounding area and familiarize himself with the surround terrain. Hopping up into his cockpit he activated the mech wirelessly, dismissing his comrades with a simple "Recon" before closing the upper hatch and trotting away at fast speeds, even for a mech. Shortly after leading the boundaries of Haven, multiple radar signatures pop up, taking Reuven somewhat by surprise. He moves in to investigate, the first fully visible mech being that of one perched upon some sort of decaying platform, the appearance of the mech was uncannily similar to that of one of his targets. A few other mechas make themselves apparent as well, seemingly expending fuel like utter retards in a mobile standoff.

Pony sighed as he breathed the 'fresh' air through his helmets air filters. He then checked his scanners as he watched over the wasteland a few moments before getting back into the cockpit and continuing on to Haven. The blue Gekka sailed across the sand leaving a cloud of sand and other particles behind it, the pilots attention turning to blips as they appeared on its radar and scanners. "Oh what do we have here?" the pilot grinned beneath his mask before starting off again.

It would come into radar contact of the other mechs. However it quickly made it's way to August's side and suddenly stopped, glancing at the Reichsritter and Kitoro. The Gekka's head turned to the Moloch, "What the **** did he get into this time." the Gekka and it's pilot turned it's attention back to the Reichsritter. "Can't stay out of trouble can he...."

Jurano was trying to keep his cool but when more mechs started showing he couldn't hold it anymore. Over his speakers he just laughed like a child in his cockpit, if he could he would be rolling around. When he finally settled he announced over the speakers.
"THIS IS AMAZING, SO MANY MECHS TOGETHER AND WE'RE NOT KILLING EACH OTHER ON SITE!" He yelled with laugh. He had no idea what was funny but just before he said anything more, Hirota stated.
"Please ignore that idiot in here, he finds things that are stupid and somehow makes them funny." he said knowing that the group that had been formed would just get confused as there was a second voice and no extra cockpit. He looked at the mechs and couldn't help but wonder, But in all seriousness, why are there so many mechs in this one area?

Metal pistons hissed and creaked as the Reichsritter's main cluster of sensors swung back and forth, creating a detailed picture of the varied units that were apparently gathering like a moth to a flame. Deep inside the machine's heart, Jonathan leaned away from his controls, sighing deeply at the newest additions. Not one fucking day. Not one fucking day without something. Not even one He maneuvered the heavy machine into a slump, letting it stalk thunderously over the metal piles as it chose to lead the way to Haven. As it walked, he opened up the comms channel to the Moloch, cutting all of the external speakers as to cut out unwanted listeners. "Look, August, I only know one of these fucks and that's the asshole who's mecha relies on an unstable reactor for its primary mode of assault. He's called Pony, he belongs to a man named Padama." The comms switched over to Pony's mecha. The next words were filled with as much tired venom as Jonathan could muster. "What the hell are you doing, Pony? There's no reason for your sorry ass to be near me as of right now. There's a reason I fucking drink away from the hanger."
