Bio | Born in the shadow of a new moon, Kimiko Hana Kurosawa was unaware of the dark destiny that was laid before; The Tower lay upside down, The World, the same, and yet Death... was upright. Upon a vast tower she would stand, and it would fall from under her with the world, and Death would be there to catch her... but, would see allow herself to be caught, to allow her dark destiny free reign, or would she fight against it and turn it to her favor? All this preamble to determine if she'd ace her final exams. A chuunibyou that never really grew up, Kimiko is prone to entertaining dark flights of fancy, and believes that all people have a destiny from birth. Her parents worry. Greatly. |

Age | 21 |

Gender | Female |
Race | Rittan |
Tale | Kimiko's chuunibyou side unleashed at full tilt, and allowed full reign and freedom. A founding member of the Raid/PvP Guild, Rancordraft, and a seated council member, Hamartia served as a Remote Nuker and Saboteur; often infiltrating other Guilds via her Courtesan Subclass, and destroying their armories and treasuries to keep them less equipped and funded. In this way, Rancordraft maintained a consistent Top Three presence and an infamous reputation and herself, as the Sorcerer Succubus. However, after Catastrophe, when death meant more than just a reload, Rancordraft was, like most Raid Guilds, publically dissolved... for the most part. The most unwilling members -- those unable to resist the fame, part with the fortune, and relinquish the power -- however, maintained the Guild; operating, no longer as a public Raid Guild, but an underground Player-killer Guild with the unspoken intention of establishing an anarchic oligarchy. Selfsame, the villain and the hero, Hamartia leads a series of throwaway lives, as they serve Rancordraft and the destruction of all other Guilds. There is no path she is unwilling to walk, no part she is unwilling to play, if it sees her goal through. |
Any and All Sorcerer Spells | What it says on the tin. If it's a Sorcerer Spell, Hamartia can cast it; I'm not compiling a comprehensive spell list. |
Inscribe Secret | All Avatars, to a degree, can write on paper, as efficiently as possible. However, it is Scribes that can hide secrets in their writings, and send covert messages to others amid candid script. Avatars with the [Decipher] Skill or a higher [Scribe] Subclass can attempt to parse the message within. |
Flawless Forgery | Allows the replication of another's handwriting. A handy trick that is difficult to identify with a high level [Identify] Skill. |
Inscribe Intermediate Skill Up Scroll | Allows Hamartia to create a scroll to bestow another Avatar with the Intermediate Skill Tier of their chosen Skill. |
Dist-ink-tive Charming Spells Scroll | Allows Hamartia to create a scroll of any Sorcerer spell she could cast at her level by writing the spell's framework out with magic-touched ink. Acquired by reaching Scribe Lv50 while possessing [The Raven's Feather] and [The Book's Unfinished]. |
Dist-ink-tive Faithful Spells Scroll | Allow Hamartia to create a scroll of any Cleric spell she could cast at her level by writing out the spell's framework with magic-touched ink. Acquired by reaching Scribe Lv60 while possessing [The Raven's Feather], [The Book's Unfinished], and completing the Hidden Subclass Quest: 'Chapter 2: Faith and Harmony'. |
Dist-ink-tive Ensorcelled Spells Scroll | Allow Hamartia to create a scroll of any Enchanter spell she could cast at her level by writing out the spell's framework with magic-touched ink. Acquired by reaching Scribe Lv65 while possessing [The Raven's Feather], [The Book's Unfinished], and completing the Hidden Subclass Quest: 'Chapter 3: Boundless Enchantment'. |
Dist-ink-tive Musical Spells Scroll | Allow Hamartia to create a scroll of any Bard spell she could cast at her level by writing out the spell's framework with magic-touched ink. Acquired by reaching Scribe Lv70 while possessing [The Raven's Feather], [The Book's Unfinished], and completing the Hidden Subclass Quest: 'Chapter 4: Musical Theory'. |
Dist-ink-tive Bestial Spells Scroll | Allow Hamartia to create a scroll of any Summoner spell by writing out the spell's framework with magic-touched ink. Acquired by reaching Scribe Lv75 while possessing [The Raven's Feather], [The Book's Unfinished], and completing the Hidden Subclass Quest: 'Chapter 5: Animal Kingdom'. |
Inscribe Leaflet | Allows Hamartia to create a small series of scrolls using any of her [Dist-ink-tive] Skills as a single item. Each [Leaflet] contains five spells to cast, as requested by the commissioner of the [Leaflet], and need not be five of the same spell nor from the same Class. |
Inscribe Spellbook | Allows Hamartia to create a more significant series of scrolls using any of her [Dist-ink-tive] Skills as a single item. Each [Spellbook] contains a total of ten spells to cast as decided by the commissioner, and, as before, needn't be all the same spell nor or the same casting Class. |
Inscribe Grimoire | Allows Hamartia to create a large series of scrolls using her [Dist-ink-tive] Skills as a single item. Each [Grimoire] holds 15 spells, as chosen by the commissioner, and, like always, needn't be the same nor off the same Class. |
Inscribe Skill Manual | Allows Hamartia to create a [Skill Manual] that will bestow another Avatar, or herself, with a boon of knowledge in the chosen Skill. In order to create this item, Hamartia must locate an NPC with the desires Skill, and speak with them for one hour; Comprehension-level NPC will grant a +5, Beginner-level NPCs will grant a +10, Intermediate will grant a +15, Hidden will grant a +20, and Secret will grant a +25. All Skills raised in this matter will stay raised for a full day cycle in-game, until a new [Skill Manual] is read, or actual Skill is gained. A [Skill Manual] can only be read once, and a new one must be written to regain the boon, for knowledge is ever evolving. |
Disguise | Hamartia is always to partially disguise her Avatar, by changing her hair color, skin color, and eye color. NPCs will always fall for this, unless given reason for suspicion; however, other Avatars with a high enough [Perception] can attempt to see beyond her deception. |
Dubious Dictation | Hamartia is able to remix the audio samples of Named NPCs, allowing herself to enhance her [Disguise] Skill further. Acquired by reaching Courtesan Lv30, and completing the Hidden Subclass Quest: 'Pleasing Sound(alike)'. |
A Good Night's Sleep for Two | A Passive Skill that allows Hamartia to treat any sleep, by sleeping with another Avatar, as if sleeping at an Inn; gaining all appropriate bonuses attributes to the last Inn slept at for herself and her sleeping partner. If an Inn has been slept in within a week, these attributes are halves. If an Inn is being slept in, these attributes are doubled once. |
A Purchase That Feels Good | A Courtesan skill that really puts Hamartia's lips to use; delivering a kiss that gives the recipient [Adrenaline] for 1 minute per 100 Coin gives to a maximum of 10 minutes at 1,000 Coin. Due to its nature, this is valued on tanks and rich perverts. [Adrenaline]
Acquired by reaching Courtesan Lv80, and completing the Hidden Subclass: 'A Whore Worth Fighting For'. |
Snooping Slumber | By "resting" at an Inn with Named NPC, Hamartia can gain secret knowledge that otherwise would be unavailable; from secret passwords to hidden quests. However, this can be an expensive skill, renting Inn rooms and wooing her target to loosen their tongues. Acquired by reaching Courtesan Lv50, and completing the Hidden Subclass'Bedchamber Walls Talk'. |
Lovestruck Fools Are Handy | Hamartia's is such that she can bring men, and even women, to heel at her feet. A gesture as simple as batting an eye, blowing a kiss, or whispering a promise, and her target is puddy in her hands; turned to her sway and command. NPCs of a level weaker than her [Courtesan] Level can be commanded to do many things, from simple or complex task to fighting their own allies. NPCs of a level higher than her [Courtesan] Level can be commanded, much the same, however, they can resist her commands without "incentive". Named NPCs come with "relationships" that can bring useful opportunities to Hamartia, such as charming the prince of a military kingdom or wooing a witch that owns an herb shop, as well as bring her hindrances, if she isn't careful, such as sleeping with a public official or disrupting a marriage. |
Computate Weakness | An Active Skill that Hamartia uses to analyze and pinpoint weaknesses in structures. Largely used in demolition work, it's usefulness is not unfounded when combined with [Assassinate] and structures of a more flesh and blood design. |
Locate Knowledge | A Passive Skill that affords Hamartia instinctively knowledge of where to go, whenever seeking information in a Library or similar area. |
Uncover Secrets | Hamartia can do extensive research into a location or individual, and uncover written secrets should any be journaled. Requires the [Locate Knowledge] Skill to activate. |
Unassuming Presence | Nobody acknowledges the bookworm with her nose buried in the bindings. As such, tongues are a bit looser around her, giving Hamartia an increased chance that learn more when [Eavesdropping] while in possession of a book, and reading it. Requires the [Disguise] Skill to activate. |

Rarity | Phantasmal |
Classification | Head Armor |
Durability | Immense |
Factors |
|
Details | "Remember, remember! The Fifth of November..." This almost featureless mask is the pride and joy of remaining members of Rancordraft, allowing them limitless access to do their unsavory work. An already ultra-rare drop from an endgame raid, the keepers of this mask that know how to acquire is fiercely guard the secret among themselves and put anyone that could learn its secret to the sword after a torturous interrogation. |
Rarity | Production-Magic |
Classification | Face Accessory |
Durability | High |
Factors |
|
Details | A handcrafted face accessory, Hamartia uses this item to scout out her intended targets, as well as mind what secrets lie in the dark. |
Rarity | Production-Magic |
Classification | Necklace |
Durability | High |
Factors |
|
Details | A handcrafted necklace, Hamartia uses this item as a fashionable point to her attire, and a subtle way to absorb errant Mana. |
Rarity | Production-Magic |
Classification | Hand Armor |
Durability | High |
Factors |
|
Details | A handcrafted pair of gloves, Hamartia uses this item, largely, to counteract her dramatically slow Casting Speed, and to pilfer items from their proper places and spaces, as luck would have it. |
Rarity | Production-Magic |
Classification | Chest Armor |
Durability | High |
Factors |
|
Details | A handcrafted fancy suit, Hamartia uses this item as a shockingly (to her opponents) effective armor against the more martial-minded meathead that find Sorcerers easy prey, and, it's a rather fetching suit to boot. |
Rarity | Production-Magix |
Classification | Leg Armor |
Durability | High |
Factors |
|
Details | A handcrafted pair of heels, Hamartia uses this item to run as if walking, walk as if sneaking, and sneak as if a ghost. Her movements incalculable to the ear, if so desired, and while we're some cute heels. |
Rarity | Artifact |
Classification | Wand |
Durability | Immense |
Factors |
|
Details | "A feathered pen, with ink still warm..." The first of two cursed artifacts that Hamartia came in possession of, this quill pen does not cast spells as per tradition, but the spell must be transcribed to page, and cast as if a scroll. For most spellcasters, this is an inexcusable wand, and goes largely ignored by all, save for those with the patience and understanding of its curse. |
Rarity | Artifact |
Classification | Grimoire |
Durability | Immense |
Factors |
|
Details | "A book with no words, lying unfinished..." A cursed artifact that Hamartia came across, the second of two, this grimoire is filled with pages end to end, stuffed infinitesimally, and yet nothing is written within. From beginning to end, Hamartia could flip it, and never reach the end. However, she has no intention, as spells written within become stickers to place around. |
Rarity | Artifact |
Classification | Ring |
Durability | Immense |
Factors |
|
Details | "A lump of coal full of liquid charcoal, and somehow a ring..." The third of three artifacts always on Hamartia's person, and the only one not cursed. This ring functions as an inkwell and reduces the Mana Reservation that Hamartia incurs by 20%. It is a most curious item, to say the least. |
