I’ve had a few ideas that have been circling through my mind lately, (and some old ones I never got to start) I don’t have many requirements, just be okay with mxm and no ghosting! I’m someone who, depending on the length of posts, tries to get out at least one response a day, if not multiple. I’ve had partners who respond once every two weeks, and I’m totally okay with that as long as I know in advance that the response times are so spaced out. If something comes up and you need to take a break or if you want to end it, just let me know! I’m fine waiting or discussing things to make it more interesting!
I typically just mirror the response of my partner, whether that’s just a few sentences or multiple lengthy paragraphs. I’m not the chattiest person, but I think OOC is important for lasting rps, and I like to talk about ideas for the plot and characters. For some of the plots listed below, I have characters and their sheets ready, but I’m fine going without character sheets if you don’t feel like making them.
Here are the plots that I have so far!
Character A is the son of an undercover cop, and Character B is the son of a Mafia/mob/gang member, yet without knowing the lawful and lawless part of the other's life, the two are best friends. When A's father gets caught, the father and son plan to go on the witness protection program and get out of town. But before he could get picked up Character A is taken captive, and B is meant to be in charge of his torture. Unable to hurt the light in his life, B takes A to the nearest train station and buys two tickets, before dumping everything that could be traced back to them and leaving the life they know behind. (I would play Character A)
Character A recently came into an inheritance that included a magic lamp. No one ever finishes their three wishes though, by the time they get to it, the genie, Character B, already twisted the first two so much, leaving the wisher more miserable then they started off. Bonus if Character A is someone who usually always gets their way.
Character A is a king who is kidnapped by Characters B and C, the two sons of a pirate A had sentenced to death a couple years prior. After some time on the ship, like a month or more, they get comfortable with each other and things are sailing smoothly, the brothers halfway forgive him since he had a decent reason to do what he did. The ship is boarded by the royal fleet in search of the king, and in some act of “mercy” A orders one of the brothers to marry him. His reasoning being if they’re engaged he can pardon them for their crimes without too much critique or push back, or maybe he’s just a spoiled ass who found someone he wanted and had to have them. (I would be fine playing either role! If you play the pirates feel free to just play one but If I play it I’m using two because I think it would be really fun to play them both and then literally have the king/you select which one they wanna continue with.)
Character A is a recently divorced parent who traveled down to pick up their child and their friends from college for spring break. A went down a day earlier to enjoy the busy city and ended up meeting Character B at a bar. After a whirlwind of a night with a surprising connection, A arrives at the college and to their horror, there is Character B standing beside their kid, ready to spend the week at A’s house.
Character A is a successful businessman/celebrity who's tired of dating people who only love them for their money/fame. They decided to expand their dating pool to a few states to make things easier, but people kept recognizing them. In a rash, probably drunk decision, they use the picture of a stranger or a close friend. Character A gets matched with B, and they seem to hit it off perfectly. A few months later, B tells A that they’ll be in his area and really wants to meet up. A has to decide whether to fess up or to try to rewin B’s heart with his actual self. (I would play Character B)
In a small town, Characters A and B are complete opposites. A is perfect in every way, captain of the football team, volunteering every weekend, church every Sunday, even his hair falls perfectly 24/7, straight A student, though that's all thanks to character B when they were best friends. B is the opposite of perfect. He spends his weekends either at odd jobs trying to make money, getting high, or getting drunk, hated by almost everyone in town because of his parents, and failing half his classes even though he's the smartest kid in town. When A falls into hard times, B sobers up to help the person he still considers his best friend so that A doesn't end up like him, but maybe that's exactly what A needs to end up like for a little while.
Character A is a mermaid who gets captured by fishermen. The fishermen sell them to a group of scientists, and Character B is one of them. B has just been brought in after a week, and they’re against poking and prodding at something so humanish. They feel bad for B and try to help them escape, but they get caught in a storm so B takes A to their home until it calms down. (Mxm, I would play Character A)
1. Character A is a general who became a prisoner of war and Character B is a prince of the warring kingdom who sneaks down to the dungeon to talk to him. 2. Character A is a police man who is forced to work with a criminal to solve crime 3. Forced/Arranged marriage 4. Anything lovers to enemies to lovers 5. A small village sacrifices a young woman to a monster/deity every 20 years but this time, the selected women's brother sneaks and takes her place with the intent to kill which only amuses the immortal so they keep him alive because they want to see him try (I'd wanna play the brother) 6. Two hungover strangers (or distant friends) wake up in the same hotel room with foggy memories of the night before, if any
