Looking for someone able to play a male (18+) for this little idea that I have. I'm a working adult, so usually from early in the morning until about 3 or 4 Eastern Time, I'm working. When I'm not working, I do tend to be posting and manage at least one per day on most days, sometimes a lot more if I'm really into the story.
For my idea, I feel some background on how I got the idea is in order before getting to the main idea having to do with the people turning into dragons lol.
So, sometimes I have a habit of getting into listening to those stories that show up in ads I see on social media and all. Usually they tend to be Werewolf ones (theres a LOT of ad stories that revolve around Werewolves, Alphas, their Lunas (aka Alphess), and becoming mates in general (the Werewolves are supposed to always gain their ability to shift and gain their wolf at a certain age, usually 18). And every time I see ads for these types of stories, theres a common thread that usually the Alpha rejects his mate for one reason or another, but usually its because she's 'wolfless' (aka born of werewolf blood but not able to shift). Sometimes the main female does eventually gain her wolf, just later than others, and sometimes not.
The story I was listening to was along those lines, the Alpha coming back and sensing his mate (usually involves their mate having a certain irresistible scent, like apples, forests, etc), but comes to find out shes wolfless and rejects her based on pride (this is supposed to snap the bond that they have and is very painful, physically and mentally, for the female).
Anyway, aside from that long background story, it gave me an idea for a rp like that, execpt instead of werewolves, it a species of people all able to tranform into dragons. Im thinking this wouldnt quite be modern, the people living in villages and such. Think old norse villages I guess for the style? Anyway, these dragon people being basically common place. Like all the characters in it are people that can shift into dragons and there are many villages (basically taking the place of humans haha). With the villages lead by and Alpha and Alphess dragon.
I would like to play the daughter of one of the Alpha and Alphess from one of the villages. But when reaches the age when she's supposed to be able to shift into her dragon form, they all come to find out, she can't. She would of course feel shame that she can't transform. The daughter of an Alpha and Alphess? Not having a dragon? She would feel so inadequate, and not only that, but a dragonless person wouldn't be able be the next Alphess in most cases because they couldn't protect their village against other dragons. Theres no law against it, but obviously an alphess is meant to protect so that defeats the purpose unless the Alpha is strong enough to protect the village by himself lol).
Of course, then theres the fact that for the longest time she would think she could never have a mate either. Especially if these dragon people can just sense their mate right away and its thought that its the dragons drawn to each other that make them sense their mate when they are close and go seek them out. I can see her family meeting a bunch of Alphas and future Alphas over time for peace meetings and just general trading, and none even remotely interested (and maybe even cruel) toward her.
Now what happens when our characters meet is something we can discuss. I imagine he'd either be an Alpha or future Alpha. Personally I'm not opposed to some drama.
