Newer?
Right, they're not new-new, but newer than the rest of me.
<Snipped quote by Fractured>
Newer?
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>
Right, they're not new-new, but newer than the rest of me.
<Snipped quote by Server>
Oh, that sounds pretty cool.
*I reach down to grab my two pistols.*
These are what I use, I dubbed them "Axl Bullets".
<Snipped quote by Fractured>
Unnatural, then?
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>
A natural part of my evolution. All of my kind get new features when they finally mature and their path is set.
<Snipped quote by RoadkilBanana>
Very cool! What do they do?
<Snipped quote by Fractured>
But not all ribbon-arms?
<Snipped quote by Server>
Well, they can do a few things, the regular shots are rapid firing, and I can switch either of them to the "Copy Shot", which reduces other reploids or robotic organisms into DNA crystals, once the pistols absorb them, they can change shape and form depending on the organism that was reduced. But I barely use the Copy Shot, it's only if I'm in a situation when I have to.
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>
Nope. Those came with becoming a wendigo.
<Snipped quote by RoadkilBanana>
Really? Why not use it all the time?
<Snipped quote by Fractured>
Are “wendigos” not what you meant when you said “your kind”?
*Takes another sip*
<Snipped quote by Server>
I don't really like using it unless they're already "Maverick", which happens rarely.
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>
*Shakes my head*
At my core, I'm a monster. The type of monster we become is mostly random.
<Snipped quote by RoadkilBanana>
Have you kicked out all the mavericks in your world?
<Snipped quote by Fractured>
That’s bizarre, to say the least.
<Snipped quote by Server>
Last time I was there, there was still quite a few, but I don't know how many are there now...
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>
Um, I'm sorry. It's just how things are where I'm from, like how you probably picked your career after you matured.
<Snipped quote by RoadkilBanana>
What made you finally decide to leave? It's got to be a nice place if Zero lives there.
<Snipped quote by Fractured>
Oh, nah, I didn’t mean it in any negative way. Stuff about how you grow is just usually something you’d attribute to genetics, which has predictable patterns and probabilities and stuff like that. Seems bizarre for it to be random.
