The son of former action star Akira Hayakawa and novelist Rina Uzaki, Tommy and his younger brother Jiro were born and raised in Angel Grove, but visited family in Japan frequently. At ten years old in fifth grade, Tommy became best friends with Eddie when they were paired together on a science fair project. At thirteen years old, he lost his brother during a fishing trip when their yacht got caught up in a sudden storm and smashed against the rocks of a nearby island. Tommy and his parents survived, but they never found the body of Jiro. It has haunted Tommy ever since.

After the apparent death of his youngest son, Akira fell into a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol, and died of a heroin overdose within a year. Tommy and his mother wrote a novel together about Akira’s life and their family’s struggles, which was outside Rina’s usual genres of magical girl and martial arts fantasy. It was published when Tommy was fifteen and was briefly considered a bestseller, and solidified his desire to be a writer like his mother.

Now he is on his Summer vacation before the start of senior year, and hopes to earn a degree in creative writing after high school.

Born in Mexico City, Eddie moved with his parents to the United States when he was eight years old. His father, Dr. Sebastián Garza, had been offered a job at Alphabet Soup Technologies in Angel Grove due to his extensive tenure as a biomedical engineering professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

During fifth grade, Eddie became best friends with Tommy when they were paired together on a science fair project. Eddie had always been fascinated with science, and joined the Youth Science Lab at Angel Grove High School to study advanced classes in the hopes of increasing his chances of getting into Caltech one day. His ultimate goal has always been to earn dual PhDs in Aerospace Engineering and Robotics Engineering and then start a career at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory at Caltech.

But for now he is just enjoying his Summer vacation with his friends.

Biography

Ryan McPhee was born into a wealthy family. They owned and invested in many businesses, and acquired a large fortune. They spend most of their time attending to their many businesses, they barely had time for their son. His parents basically threw money at him, and hoped the issue of having to raise a kid would take care of itself. Whether that was hiring the best nannies they could to take care of him, to outright giving large cash allowances so he could get himself whatever he wanted.

Of course, throwing cash at your kid is not a substitute for parenting them. Ryan grew up with a huge superiority complex, but also a strong sense of loneliness. He tried his best to win friends and influence people. He threw himself into theater. He did all he could to suceed there in order to get praise from others, particularly his parents.

After high school, Ryan plans to study performing arts at Angel Grove University. His Drag Persona, Fae Rae also has a large Social Media presence where he makes all kinds of videos as his character. He even does drag queen story hour at the local library for the kids. Naturally, being a drag queen has gotten Ryan some hate from certain groups of people, but he couldn’t care less.

Miranda chooses what she wants others to see when it comes to her personality. To adults, Miranda is a sweet intellectual that is simply misunderstood and really aspires to be the best person she can be. She is an approachable person and is usually seen as kind, open and honest, though she is a girl who usually knows more than what she lets on. However; to those closest to her, they know Miranda to be the kind of person that is willing to get her hands dirty when it comes to getting things done. She'll do what she can to help out a friend, though helping them achieve certain... Ambitions is another matter for her. If she doesn't like something, She won't hesitate to let you know.

She is a confident and fearless individual who doesn't believe she really has anything more to lose than she already has, having taken up a "tough girl" persona to help shield the vulnerable pieces inside of her that were created once James left her without a word. Because of this early-on exposure to abandonment, Miranda tends to keep strangers at a safe distance, making it incredibly difficult for anyone to see the real her that is somewhere still inside. To her, trust takes time and can take up to years to gain someone's friendship per her standards, as she is afraid that they might end up leaving her just as her brother did.

A dense lover of music, Miranda is likely to listen to a wide variety of genres, She is likely to listen to Era or lindsey Sterling as she is Eminem or Drowning pool, though she often likes listening to Linken Park and Imagine Dragons more recently. She has realized that her taste in music for what she is in the mood for generally revolves around where her own mood is at, and gets lost in the lyrics of certain songs that speak to her on a level that no simple words can even begin to breach. Miranda was born the second and final child of the Burke family. The family name, in itself, has a reputation all on it's own as the Burkes have lived in Angel Grove for generations, and have left a positive impact in almost everything that they do. They are considered a peaceful family, trying as they might to contribute positively to local communities and charities where possible to continue the legacy that was their namesake.The family buisness was quite well known, being a garage and break down/tow service, something that interested Miranda a lot.

Miranda and her older brother James had always gotten along so well. She knew he loved her when he chose to spend time with her instead of his friends or always invited her along with them. It was only just a few years into her teens did she realize just how protective he was of her when one of her friends, had his attempt at flirting with her. It wasn't until Miranda tried speaking to him did she realize why it was that she never really saw that particular friend again, realizing he was not much of her friend as she thought and James saw through that? This did not stop her making some unique friends along the way.

Eventually; James began to grow distant of her and the family. He never seemed to want to talk with her, or invite her out, or even be in the same room as her in general. It broke Miranda's heart, forcing Miranda to change her personality to fit one that she knew he might pay attention to. She became tough, and all around uncaring of just about everything. She wanted his attention so badly, she oftentimes forgot where the real Miranda was, and where the fake one began. But the more defiant Miranda became in order to gain his attention, the more she began to believe that she didn't need him - that she didn't need anyone.

A sudden sense of independence suddenly sprouted from the young teen. Unfortunately it was for naught as James skipped town, around this time Miranda could really be thankful to the closest friends she had, while many bailed with the path she was taking, it was them that saw she was not herself and helped Miranda rediscover herself, they helped her focus on other things, since she often goes to the gym, Swimming and getting a love for music just being a few hobbies. Miranda also helps around the buisness or hangs out with her friends too. Their efforts has made her so thankful to this day to have such a diverse, crazy but above all else, awesome friends to go through school and now university.

Despite Cleopatra being reluctant to trust new people she has just met, often being shy and initially reserved, she is actually a very outgoing person who can be a little careless which often can get her into or causing trouble, although never intentionally. She is extremely Spirited, Quick-witted and playfully sarcastic. Despite not acting like it half the time, Cleopatra can be an intelligent and mature young woman but seems to still hold onto an unquenchable thirst for fun; She has shown a lot of courage and is always ready to help her closest friends, quite the vicious little thing whenever she is pushed far enough, which can probably be seen as cute by some, Cleopatra is widely known for her antics of course, but she often enjoys parkour, various types of Poi dancing and scented candles. she enjoys wearing clothing that could be classed predominantly goth with a dash of playful femininity. She also loves arm sleeves, Often liking the variety.

Cleopatra, above all else is a survivor. She is resilient, resourceful, and smart, she proves herself time and time again to the surprise of those that don't really know her. Cleopatra was born into a lower middle class family with a loving mother and father, unknown to her, she would be the second child of the family as she was there new bundle of joy. However, Cleopatra was the result of a one night stand her mother had with another man. When she was at a young age, the truth had come out and this caused huge conflicts at home and caused the family to split, she fortunately was to young to fully understand the whole situation at the time. As time went on, things really didn't overly improve and by time Cleopatra was seven years of age, she was taken into the foster care system and caused her behaviour to rapidly change.

Cleopatra was unintentionally getting into trouble at schools. It was not like she was getting trouble on purpose, but her playful, random and careless behaviour made it easier for other kids to blame the girl for things weather she did them or not, she just had this unquenchable thirst for fun, it didn't help she often did things for 'fun' outside of school too. Also over the years Cleopatra had been in and out of multiple foster homes, often because she was too much of a pain to handle, they felt something was so different but she was simply miss understood or she ran away, which more often than not is what she did, often getting caught though.

It was not until she came across this one particular family that took her in and worked with her problems, accepted her for what she was and made her feel welcome into their family, treating her as one of their own. Sure they weren't the richest in the family in the world, but they always spoiled her where they could. They resided in Angel Grove; A nice rural city that Cleopatra really fell in love with fast, it didn't take long for locals to know her at all.

Her random behaviour certainly kept people on their toes in and out of school, But Cleopatra was a rash girl and was still unintentionally getting into trouble for silly little things even if she was showing signs of maturity and being pretty smart when she wants to, sure she might be like a hamster on coffee at times, but she worked hard in her classes and put the effort in, sure she weren't an A+ student, but her grades were pretty good, after all hard work pays off. Still her antics always got around town and eventually back to the foster family. Although initially concerned they were pleased that the young teen had settled in making at least a few friends, even if not many.

Olivia is generous to her friends, often sharing her homemade baked goods with them but feels awkward being gifted something herself.

She doesn't do too well at school because she is more of a physical learner. In fact she is bad at doing in nothing in general but she can also spend hours doing something she enjoys.

Biography Olivia grew up living above her parents' bakery, which meant that despite both of them working it wasn't too hard for them to find time to spend with her. She developed her own interest in baking as a young child by "helping" her parents in the bakery with simple tasks. Of course having a six year old near giant ovens isn't a great idea and Olivia ended up with a burn on her hand, the scar still slightly visible to this day. As a result her parents banned her from the kitchen for a few years until she was old and responsible enough to be safe.

At first Olivia hated not being able to help her parents and just sulked in her room after school but eventually she developed other interests. She discovered jrpg's when coming across a let's play and she convinced her parents to buy her a game console.
