ok, I am content to start up a thread for OOC, IC, and Characters... but I'm not convinced there's enough interest yet.

In that case, would you like to workshop the concept a little more before we "go to print," as it were? I can whip up a google doc or something like that, if you like. As long as we're waiting, no harm in brainstorming.

hmm. To be honest with you -- not really. I trust in my ability to "roll with it" and have been writing fic since 2007. I rarely if ever plan it out. Spontaneity is king.

I just don't know how to reel in writers. If you have ideas in that vein, lemme know!

Well, I don't have as much experience with collaborative fiction, but it would seem that selling people on the RP is contingent on having the RP defined. Now, I love outlines, you seem to be a bit more of a "panster"; and that's cool. I'm sure we can find a happy medium: Even if the path we ultimately take is wildly different from what we planned, I want to have a plan to start with in some capacity.

Link the OOC thread here. I'll subscribe and join. I just finished RDR2 for the fifth time. But I'd be down for a bounty hunter - Sci fi story like the Mandalorian minus Jedi and Sith.

I thought you looked familiar, but couldn't remember what it was from. I assume you are referring to the Firefly - Second Verse RP which was being contributed to two months ago. I can't imagine Sail would let it die, but it has been going on for 3 years. I did bail out about a year and a half ago and was looking to get back in. Just not sure if sail and wolf will continue.

I did give you more than a handful to mull over. ;)

Hi all -- many, many apologies. I "floated" a Star Wars RP (incidentally called 'floating') and it really took off. This one kind of took a back burner, but I have not forgotten the tumbleweeds, wide brims and the cotton-mouth after a swig of whiskey!

In fact, I might well put up a character sheet this afternoon over on the RP thread. (link a few posts up from here.)
