Hello!

I go by Z or Zee, or whatever. I was an internet rp’in gremlin in my teens and have been in and out of the hobby since; it remains a quiet craving.

About me: I think I write high casual. I can usually spit out a few decent paragraphs that vary with plot and dialogue and such, and dig into those sweet sweet inner monologues/feelings. I am definitely not a writer-writer, if that makes sense, and therefore don’t have the cleanest writing. I’m a veterinarian, not a poet. My schedule let’s me post a couple times a week, but may have any creativity zapped for more than that. If a week plus between posts bugs you, I understand. I respond well to friendly peer pressure to get on my shit and post.

I really enjoy humor, and am comfortable with adult themes (language, gore, angst, reasonable smut). I’m down to write male or female characters, enjoy romance (especially slow-burn, MxF or MxM preferred but open to FxF), and especially enjoy chatting ooc about characters, plots, life etc. I will 100% draw our characters. I prefer discord, but can be swayed! If you want a writing sample, I’m happy to provide.

My partners: I’m pretty lax in what I need from my partners, as long as I get something to work with! I prefer at least one chunky paragraph, but appreciate more, and a decent grasp of English. I love open communication – give me your questions, critiques, and ideas. I love “what if’s”. I am an adult (late 20’s) and expect my partners to be too (sorry).

Vibes: I get that sometimes a plot or writing styles or what-have-you just don’t vibe sometimes. I’ll let you know if things aren’t working for me, and you let me know if they don’t work for you, capisce? Capisce. We can abandon ship entirely or rework some stuff. No hard feelings.

Plots and such: I love some fantasy flavor of some sort. I can try to vibe with slice-of-life rp, but I have really limited experience in it and find that I rather the slice-of-life involve dragons, you know?
I also have weaknesses in heavily historical-based rps. I really enjoy reading historical fiction, however I’m a STEM kid at heart.
I generally don’t like rps that are fandom-y or based in pre-existing universes, as I don’t trust my knowledge and accuracy. That said, I can work with a gist.
I do have a few existing characters that I may use, but I usually craft new OCs for each rp. Now for the stuff I’ve been craving (that will definitely be added to and edited) –

Demon/witchy/ghost/spooky things: [-]
☆ A witch gets their familiar; good timing too, because they’re in danger.

☆ Boarding school for magi; every student gets assigned an older student as a mentor. X is assigned to Y, and Y lets them in on a few darker secrets of the school and covens beyond.
☆ Similarly- When a magi comes of age they learn what element they are gifted with. They are assigned a mentor, and X gets mentor Y who, while undeniably powerful, is rough and rude. It’s revealed the only reason Y is teaching X is due to a millennia-old truce between two rival families that will immediately dissolve once X has mastered their gift, sending the families against each other once more.

Fantasy-esque [-]
☆ Dragon rider X needs to be shown the ropes by Y.

☆ Pirates! X is desperate to escape the overbearing rule of Family. Y is happy to take X aboard as they promise information for ships full of valuable cargo to pilfer. X may or may not have a sense of guilt of offering this information.

☆ Pirates! X and Y’s crew are both stranded. Best be buddies, or starve.

☆ X is from Kingdom A. Y is from kingdom B. X kidnaps Y. X treats Y with a degree of civility, eventually may be won over and a friendship blooms. Kingdom B guards eventually find the pair, and X is now the captive. Y’s turn to show X kindness.

☆ X and Y have a common enemy. Towns destroyed; families exterminated. They’ve each lost something to this enemy, but perhaps if they aren’t alone this time they’ll be able to defeat them.

If any of these tickle your fancy, or even if it sparks another idea, pm me! I’d love to chat and am totally open to crafting a plot together.
