Havent watched this, but have you watched "Accel World", and would you be interested in a setting like that? its a bit more VR and hidden society geared though

@Crawkid Couldn't really get into Accel World. Kawahara accidentally struck gold with Gun Gale Online (and even then expanding upon it went to other creators), but other than that, not a fan. I like the aspect of a not-so-attractive, socially awkward person getting hold of a bit of power though.

Specifically I want to play a character similar to Haruyuki from Accel World: someone who IRL is shy and awkward and maybe not the most attractive-looking, but in-game is an absolute badass. I want this difference between his personas to be used for a little bit of drama (ie scared about meeting someone he met in-game IRL because of his appearance and mannerisms).
