About me - Call me Olive. I'm 21+, EST, been doing this for over a decade... I classify myself as high casual and usually fall in the 3-6 paragraph range, depending on the scenario, but I've since learned that pushing myself to match large word counts is the number one best way to make me lose interest, and I'm really trying not to ghost anyone this time. I don't think my standards are too high, I don't mind slow posting (although I have a lot of free time in the evenings, so if you're fast, that's great) and I honestly understand ghosting too, although I'm always sorry to see a good rp partner go.
I'm all for ooc chat - I get really excited over characters and potential situations, and I'm always up to brainstorm, share songs, art, etc. It makes me really happy when our characters get along, and I want us to get along, too. I like using RPGuild PMs for IC and OOC.
Romance - I only do MxF, but I can play either gender, and in fact, I find playing boys really fun. Oh, one more thing: smut makes me uncomfortable. I just ask we fade to black if the situation arises, or avoid it altogether. Other dark themes are negotiable!
Plots and Stuff
Nothing like a good slice of life. This is where things get silly and cute and heartfelt. I especially crave anime and manga flavored plots for this genre. This doesn't have to be modern, though - the daily lives and adventures of two mages or fantasy shopkeepers or travelling mercenaries all fit into this prompt.
I love fantasy, and I love building my own worlds. Besides, what better way to hone my descriptive skills then by creating a lovely fantastical world? Of course, I'd love to add lore, romance, multiple characters, and all sorts of fun plots along the way. All in all, I'm hoping this will get the creative juices flowing. Let's see where it goes! Of course, if you're looking for something less worldbuild-y but have a fantasy plot in mind, I'm up for that too.
Modern, Fantasy, Historical, you name it, I can do it. Especially wanting to play a dangerous, flirty man with a secret - supernatural, mafia, assassins, vampires... You can also combine this with Reborn as a Villianess for extra oomph.
This is a personal setting of mine that involves the race of "dragonborn", the descendants of true dragons. They have the ability to shapeshift into dragons, usually associated with a certain element or type, and in human form have wings and a tail. Moreover, dragonborn and normal humans are joined by a bond called a "dragonlink", which acts as a telepathic communication between the rider and the dragon. Dragonlinks are decided like soulmates; a sort of random/fated link between two or more people, but dragonlinks can also be artificially built between close friends and lovers. Dragonborn and humans make up dragonrider teams that are sort of a police force, and they fly around the world to keep the country safe. What do you think?
I'm not super into fandom characters, but there are a few settings I wouldn't be against exploring. Devil May Cry (I... don't think I would hate playing Vergil??) Soul Eater Pacific Rim / Kaiju and big monsters (Will add more later)
