<Snipped quote by Path>
I wouldn't put it past them. We should keep our guard up.
*Reaches into a dark void*
Nothing else but to meet our new friend. Everything else has been looted or killed.

*Reaches into a dark void*
<Snipped quote by Source>
Nothing else but to meet our new friend. Everything else has been looted or killed.
<Snipped quote by Path>
They're not going to the lower layer. They're waiting for us.
<Snipped quote by Source>
Or they are stuck on a thing that is particularly troublesome for them too! Lets find out!
*picks up my pace again*
<Snipped quote by Path>
No preparation at all...
*Withdraws four black ball bearings from the void that I hold between my fingers, and I jog beside you*
<Snipped quote by Source>
*the glimmer appears to stop as we move closer*
<Snipped quote by Path>
I've never enjoyed a face-off. Too late to sneak in now.
*Glides lightly across the stone, keeping observant with every step*
<Snipped quote by Source>
They knew of our presence the moment I stepped in. I didn’t bother to completely suppress my magic. Don’t see a need to as the way I have it now isn’t enough to kill others.
<Snipped quote by Path>
Why would your magical aura kill others to begin with?
<Snipped quote by Source>
Many of those who have sensitivities to magic can’t take pressure of magical aura without training. It overloads either their bodies or brains and can potentially die. So I suppress it to this degree where its comfortable for me, but it can deter any annoying persons who feel like they have a chance against me.
<Snipped quote by Path>
*Looks you up and down*
I guess it's good that magic is Lily's thing, then.
<Snipped quote by Source>
People can passively absorb other’s mana without thought. What I have releasing isn’t necessarily overflow of mana more of establishing domain. It allows for me to interact with the environment. Can other people use it to fuel their spells? Maybe, but it take extensive training as this mana is essentially coded to me.
<Snipped quote by Path>
Which should hopefully stop our target from using it against you.
<Snipped quote by Source>
Should, but this target isn’t a normal person.
*as we get closer the torches on the walls light up and the final room becomes clear to us and a man is walking towards a chest that materializes and moments after he opens the chest a massive golem knight falls in front of us and crumbles*
<Snipped quote by Path>
*Mumbles to myself*
That didn't last long.
*Approaches the individual*
<Snipped quote by Source>
Be careful, he may be hostile!!
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
This will take time, and I am no expert of the weave. I can hardly perceive the waters as it is.
*Reassembles my pistol, and after much effort and days you start to manipulate the strands*
You need to take these strands and weave them together into the future you desire. A future where your injuries no longer cost you your life.
<Snipped quote by Artifact>
*attempts to weave three strands together*
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
*They form a strong cord*
Consider this your lifeline. As long as the strands are not broken, you have a path to survival. But when the weave of life is frayed, you must cobble together enough strands of time in your favor.
<Snipped quote by Artifact>
*takes note of this, and nods. My focus returns to the cord*
I ... wonder....
*attempts to create a strand from me to the cord*
