Hello there! My name is Eddie and I became a member of this wonderful place of might and imagination. Me personally have never done anything like role-playing so it's all new to me. I guess that most of the people in here are if not hard-core then in some ways a fans of RPG stuff like games and books while I have no interest in them. Don't take it wrong, I love a good movie in a way of Hobbit or Twilight (hahaha) but I have never tried to do the part of making my own story or character in such environment. But I joined here as I believe I have a good imagination, maybe it's just my inside world and I think it's cool, but I would like to try to see how I would do in something like this. So wish me luck and see you all in the playground!

P.S English is not my first language therefore my apologies for mistakes in grammar and/or the build of a sentence or choice of words.

Your English looks good to us. Nothing to complain about that. Not that anyone would do so. Harping about others' lingual skills is generally not polite.

We'come to the guild and to play-by-post roleplaying. We hope your stay is long and enjoyable.

What sort of worlds do you think you would most like browsing in? Fandom or Original worlds?
What Themes do you like? Fantasy? Sci-fi? Horror? High school dramas? Anime? History? Post-Apocalypic? Supernatural? Romance? Something else?

How long do you think you would typically write? Would you write just a few sentences in a post, a paragraph or two, or multiple paragraphs?

Answer these questions, and we, as well as others here, might be able to guide you to RPs that might interest you.

Do not be scared by the people here. The great majority are nice people.

Oh, and what do you think about bacon and neckties?

Hmmm, good questions and if I think about it then I would most likely prefer Original world, not that far from RL, with some fantasy aspects if needed. From what I would like as themes then I enjoy a bit of everything....Probably I would like to join in every of those themes but what scares me is that I do not possess the right amount of knowledge to be able to write in detailed story. And I kind of have a thing of talking really widely so I would probably go with a paragraph at least, in worst case scenario 3-4 sentences.

And I have one question. Many years ago I tried something similar and I joined the game and what annoyed me was that someone starts like a private conversation or just asks a question and the puppet master of the character that the question was asked to is not replying for many hours(work, school or anything else) so people just kept writing. So my question is what to do in such situation? Ignore that any question was asked and just jump in where everyone is? And what if the story has gonet that far that you need almost to make up a new story about yourself to be able to join back in from where you were absent...?

You would probably want to start in the Free/Casual area then to be on the safe side, and move your way up when you feel like it!

As for your question, I personally believe that it comes down to your own decision making skills. If a person you're talking to in the roleplay doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon- then you gotta make the decision to either A) wait it out B) completely ignore and continue on or C) find an alternative to getting your own questioned answered. (I don't know how many times i've been talking to someone in real life and they trailed off to never truly answer my question- but I still go on with life!)

Usually if it gets SOO far behind that you have to recreate a totally different story for your character, I'd have a word with the group or partner you're roleplaying with and figure something out or consider dropping the roleplay all together. That's just how I feel about things though!

Would love to roleplay with you sometime- good luck!

Yes, considering that, it might be best (for now) to avoid delving into the Advanced section, as posts there tend to grow fairly long.

As for the situation you described, the RP's GM should deal with that. Either through the means described by Cap'n Crunch, or through other means. There are many options. None of them perfect for all situations.

Thanks for the welcoming, advice and answer to my question. Will try to join somewhere soon, but busy as all the exams and assignment deadlines are dropping on me at the same time so not much spare time. Although this could be a good practice for my English exam next week. Thanks again!
