Gear and Equipment: Carries a pitch black tactical black large backpack that has adjustable straps and can clip onto the front of the wearer to improve its durability and so it will not fall off in bad situations or when running. Within this pack there is a geographical map of the entire united states which has been marked up quite a bit, approx. three sharpies one black, one yellow and one which is red. The next set of items within the main compartment of this back pack is a compass, with a metal grade ruler. Next there is two large water bottle approx 2 litters a piece. After that there is three lighters and a small amount of canned food specifically three cans of tuna, a pack of saltines, and a large bag of trail mix. In the outer pockets of this pack near the front are the extra clips and ammunition for guns, which comes to 3 clips a piece for each 44. Desert magnum ( 60 shots for each gun) and two spare clips for the MP5 (60 shots). In a small slot in the front is also a pack of cigarettes and one of the spare lighters from inside the pack.
History: Roland Russo was born in Florence Italy into a very wealthy upcoming, as a child more often then not he did not yearn for much or need much for his parents were incredibly wealthy. Growing up Roland was often left alone for his parents were always away on business and he was taken care of mostly by hired nanny's and was home school for a good portion of his life. Roland grew up actually rather lonely especially after his nanny whom had become like a mother to him had to leave for reasons that were unknown to him. When he got older he became a troubled child, and developed a rather nasty attitude towards other people and kids his age. Often getting into fight in his early teens he was on the fast track fast to becoming a juvenile delinquent. Roland was only sixteen when his parents forced him to leave and cut him off completely, for they would not suffer the embarrassment of a son who acted like he did. Roland took to the streets of Florence more specifically the shadier parts, and he took to them better then his lavish life style with his parents. By age eighteen Roland was a very violent and very tempered man, who would beat you as much as look at you and he needed no other reason. On the eve of his twentieth birthday Roland committed murder against a man who stole from him on the streets, and subsequently he was tossed into prison where he was to originally be executed, for he did not regret his act, and even went as far as to say he would do it again.
However a couple weeks before his death was to be carried out he was mysteriously released from his bindings where he was immediately picked up by two men waiting for him on the street. He was then escorted to a location where he meant the man who had all but saved his life, this man was known as Capiano only. Capiano was a very wealthy and very well connected Italian Mafia Don who had for the better part of 50 years had run an organized crime family in the upper parts of Florence. As it turned out the man whom Roland has so easily killed had been a member of another family whom Capiano had been trying to cap for years, and had been impressed with not only Roland's coldness but his ability to kill with such ease and not care. From that moment on Roland was inducted into the family and was personally trained to become a hit man for Capiano. Needless to say Roland took to this well and had in his ignorance found his true calling in life, an a purpose he so desperately needed, by time he was coming around to his 26th birthday Roland was an expert hit man and was quite famous among the Mafia family for his precise killings and his ability to get the job done. As he grew Roland became a bit more even tempered and started to take on a form of class that most hit man more often did not and became very close with Capiano and viewed him as a father figure.
Roland was only thirty when he was struck with another horrible event in his life, Capiano his mentor and father was murdered at the hands of the same family whom Roland had taken a life from in his youth. Sent into disarray because of this event the Family in which Roland had become so fond of was thrown into a frenzy and a war started between both families. During this period Roland moved into a position of power and took the reigns that Capiano had held so long and lead the fight against the opposing family. The war lasted many years Roland was 36 when it finally ended and the don of the opposing family was dead and the rest of his family disbanded. After all was said and done Roland having lost so much in his years decided to leave Florence and migrated to the U.S. where he established a new family within the Borders of New York, and it was in this time frame he became simply known by one name and that was Luciano. After making a powerful impact on the current gangs in New York Luciano became one of the biggest and most powerful fishes in his line of business and he ruled it with a fair but iron fist. However this only last for about twelve years before an Airborne virus hit the U.S. and pretty much broke in half the empire in which Luciano had created and almost instantly New York turned into an Hellish war zone. Roland unable to combat the dead took a group of his most loyal men and his personal weapons leaving New York just as it crumbled to the ground and began to travel trying to find a new place of Safety.
Now as his 51st birthday approaches Roland is alone now, his men long dead, killed by the infection which engulfed the U.S. and possibly the world. Continuing his search for safety Roland has stumbled upon Redwood Park in hope that perhaps this might be a safe place to lay low.
Skills: Fire Arm proficiency: Is an expert at assembling disassembling and using different fire arms ranging from hand guns to rifles. Is a very skilled shot and does not miss a lot of the time. This skill however does not include sniper type weapons which include extremely long shots or explosive weapons.
Blade Proficiency: Is skilled with all types of blades if it be a pocket knife to a sword. Is capable of defending himself with a blade alone if he has too.
Hand to hand: Is capable of fighting without the use of non projectile or projectile weapons, and is versed in two forms of martial arts which is Taekwondoe and Brazilian Jujitsu.
Other: Luciano has no real intention of revealing his affiliations with the previous life, so it would be widely unknown that he was a Mafia Lord. Now all he is now is a man trying to find safety in a hellish world and he will tell you as much.
