"Right here," Jay's head poked up from the side of the truck, "Just checking out this truck. Anyway, what's the deal here? Who's in front, who's in back?"

Lea stayed silent, though.

Rachel smiled at Lea, "It's alright, we've got you now." She said and smiled comfortingly. She patted the spot next to her

"I'm in front" Aimee confirmed.

Lea returned a small smile and sat next to Rachel.

"So tha four a ya in tha front? A bit of a tight squeeze, but I'm sure it'll do. You two alright back there?"
Jay confirmed he was indeed alright.

"Alright then, let's get movin'!" He started the truck and pulled out of the make-shift parking spot next to the tavern. "So, what are your names again? Tell me about yerselves," Hank prompted, after reaching the main road.

"So, Alex, did everything go okay? Any problems?" Jay asked, his voice shaking as the truck bounced.

Alex shook his head. "Nothing happened really. We came in looking for you guys but it was too crowded to see anything!"

"Yeah, it was pretty crowded, huh? I'm amazed we didn't run into any trouble."

"I'm happy too" Aimee replied. She would have nuzzled Jay, but he wasn't quite close enough.

"I'm Rachel," Rachel said, "Not much to say about me, just that I love music," she said, smiling. She bounced with the truck as she talked.

"Well, nice ta meet ya, Rachel. And what about you, miss?" He glanced at the wolfen girl.

"Oh. Sorry. My name's Aimee" she replied.

"No need to be sorry, ma'am. And... you're Fae, aren't you?"

"So, where are we going now?" Aimee asked Jay.

Fae nodded. "Right, that's me."

Jay leaned back and spoke through the small window, "I... don't think we actually told him where we needed to go. Maybe ask him where's taking us?"

"Well, Fae, it certainly has been awhile. Do ya remember me? I worked with your mother fa quite some time."

"My mother?" Fae looked up at the man, studying his face. After a few moments, she shook her head. "Sorry, I don't remember..."
