I actually have issues towards externals as I want the stunts to not necessarily be represented by gear but perhaps piloting skill or whatever and the externals eat up those stunt slots. Internals are okay but a little weird and gonna be modified, since i like the idea of the bot having separate skill lists that could supersede the pilot's levels, representing being either a shiny machine of war or the technology complementing the skills of the pilot.
My real issue would be Camelot trigger's way of doing damage where there's no real stress track but rather you rack on consequences that disable your systems. I'd rather the mechs have their own track of varying complexity.
Also thinking of how to handle transforming bots that change into flying vehicles because I like that shit.
Anyway Im pretty much set on treating the mech like its own character, but the skills thing is of some concern to me.
