OOC

Hey all! I just have an idea. I really like Star Wars, but more specifically, I like the particular era of the Clone Wars. In this roleplay I have planned, you will be able to play as either like a clone, bounty hunter, Jedi, Sith Lord, etc. (no Droids though) This roleplay takes place during the Clone Wars as droids and clones struggle for power. But this will not be cannon, our story will have variation to it. In other words, everything does not have to happen according to the timeline. There is no big threat or whatever in this RP, but more of a sandbox RP to mold our own story and do what ever we want. We will see where the roleplay goes from there. The roleplay will have about 9 or so people, and yeah.

Clones: Max 3, None yet
Sith Lords Max 2, none yet
Bounty Hunters Max 2, none yet
Jedi Knights Max 2 none yet
Other Will vary, if you have an idea for a role you'd like to play, comment below.

The CS would be seperate for each class you choose. If you are interested in this roleplay, please comment and say what class you'd like to be, so I can mark them off. So yesh, that's all really.

Question though: Can I play as a Clone Commando squad? I'm asking because the main problem is that they always operate in teams of 4, meaning I'd have to be in control of 4 characters to do it. I'd like to know if this is fine with you or not. If not, I'll probably play as an A.R.C. Trooper, or an "Other" role (such as a Republic Assault Ship captain).

Another question: You say this focuses on the skirmishes between the Jedi and Sith/Republic and Separatist. So does this mean this RP is a sandbox/battle-centered RP? Or am I understanding this wrong?

I dont think being a whole squad would be a good idea, I suppose you could be a squad commander and dictate what your squad does, but I'd like it more if you were a single character for this. Also A.R.C. Trooper or your RAS Captain would be amazing and add spice to our game. Also you would be correct, this is a sandbox approach to the clone wars.

If I have your permission to use the Commando Squad, then I'll stick to playing as that. You have my interest.

Alright! Two or so more people and I will throw up the OOC. I've also decided I will be removing the parameters for what classes you can choose, as I'd like for this to be a true sandbox game.

If you're referring to my squad, we're Commandos, not A.R.C.s XD. Plus, I feel like it would be easier for me if my entire squad was made up of NPC's, it would require a less amount of coordination that needed to wait for a post from someone else. Though, you're free to play as your own A.R.C. Trooper that works in conjunction with my squad on operations =).

There doesn't appear to be any new interest at the moment... Are any of the other peeps still here? Just to check.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so I'd definitely be interested in this if it's still going down. I'd like to play a smuggler/scoundrel type character if possible, so I guess that would fall under "other". I had an idea for a bounty hunter as well.

Alright! One more person and I'll throw up the OOC. Also if no one is interested in Sith Lord, I think I will not have a Jedi either. We need the two together to balance eachother.

Hey, I was always interested in the Clone Wars era. Large, grand battles between ships and troops just seems epic to me. Count me interested.

Alright! I'm working on an OOC as we speak, I'll probably have it up either later today, or early tomorrow. But I have to go walk my dog right now, so I'll finish it in like 45 min.
