Well, I like the two new, completed NS's. Accepted. As for the Ralgon Empire, it looks good so far. Keep at it. Especially like the Welsh Dragon in the United Kingdom flag.Actually, I always wondered why Wales wasn't represented in the Union Flag. Something to do with the Treaty of the Crowns, apparently.

When the two Act of Unions were passed, Wales wasn't a country, it was just a part of the Kingdom of England, and, in the second Act, the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Also, the Deauxerran League's open for anyone who wants to trade! Our ships're ready and willing to be penetrated by your heavy loads of goods and commodities.

Yeah, they fear their pagan gods. xD
You could try to send a crusade though, but the trolls would probably break their backs.

@gowia I just had the idea that the previous King had been invited to join Haloism, and declined it on the grounds that his people would suffer from the sudden change in religion. And then maybe they came to an agreement that if the Kings helped support the Doge and Empire with metals then the Kolmaenar wouldn't be forced to join Haloism. It's just a thought I had, but if you don't want to I can make the King a raving lunatic who has false pre-conceptions. :P

Hey Cosmic Fury, I just looked at your NS and from what I understand there really isn't any magic in this setting.

And Mista Slaya, it would be pretty funny if your King was a madman. XD

EDIT: You know, there's all these people hating on Haloists when in reality they hate Stomian Haloists. They just don't realize that. :D

Yeah I'm going to hold off on the crusades until I know exactly who is god fearing Haloist nations.

A crusade would be a bad idea considering if you do several more nation might see it as you as forcing their hand. The Borvan's haven't seen trolls so if they have good warriors and willing to trade for some the fish they catch they'll be just fine, probably allies actually.

Um, I like the sheet overall but I don't think it's possible to have an iron-obsidian alloy. Obsidian's not a metal, and you don't forge obsidian. And I don't think it's possible to melt diamonds and sapphires with medieval-era technology.

Cosmic Fury said
In other words, it's impossible to melt diamonds with medieval technology. Hell, it's hard (if not close to impossible) even with MODERN technology to melt them. Also, obsidian is glass. I personally wouldn't want to alloy ANYTHING with such a substance, as it would make it more brittle.

Despite the details, it seems Hazmat's accepted it anyway.
If he wanted to use obsidian realistically, he could use it to make blades like a macuahuitl.

...I really need to finish my sheet.

Well, if he wants brittle metal and melted diamonds that cannot be used by other nations, it's his funeral.

Easily destroyed by warhammers and bludgeons, and other regions will consider them useless baubles and trinkets.

actually it would work ok in arrows or disposible weapons considering if it pierces the skin its gonna cause agonising pain when it shatters inside the body

Yeah, an obsidian arrowhoead would cause nasty lacerations if it managed to hit unarmored flesh; if it pierced far enough, it might even strike a bone and shatter. Obsidian weapons, by their very nature, will absolutely mangle skin and muscle with disturbing ease--even more so than the finest steel swords---, but as was said earlier, they're rather brittle and incredibly ineffective against armor.

A macuahuitl will cleave through the neck of a horse. Confirmed on a documentary showcasing the weapon's power, though the wielder was not the largest man in the world and he was attacking what appeared to be a slab of raw (if not spoiled) slab of beef. He did manage to cut about 6-8 inches into the meat (using a side-ways swing), however.

One wonders what would happen if a stronger and trained warrior with sufficient downward swing would do to an unarmored person, and what would happen if the weapon was augmented by applying more weight to it (perhaps applying stones tied along the length of the 'bat').

I think two-handed versions of the macuahuitl existed as well.
