The era is the middle of the nineteen thirties and it is deep into world war two and a group of children are stranded in a makeshift home at a university professor's (who has volunteered to look after children while their parents are off at war for a fee be it from state or the children's parents) house in America while their parents (be it they are related or not) are off at war. Their lives have become something entirely different as whatever connection they had to their home is now gone with them living deep in The Southern state (Specifically South Carolina). With the loss of whatever they held dear at least for the time being the children are now forced to live with this professor as their life starts anew....but in a different way than what they may think. Unknown to many there is a magical world known as Narnia which can only be accessed by very uncertain terms. In this roleplay we will be sharing a destiny with another group of kids far away whom are also finding this magical world for the first time as well...but we will not be playing as the heroes of the story. We will be playing as the villains intent on seizing control. In Narnia itself there has not been a war for over two hundred years in large mass against any organized army. The fall of the original kingdom ruled by four rulers, two men and two women alike caused a fracturing of sorts amongst the land. Many specific races follow no ruler as none have managed to find someone charismatic or capable enough and if they do they have been felled or forced to leave by estranged circumstances sometimes fatal ones. While the other group of kids will be playing as the 'good guys' and allies of the lion Aslan (this can be changed out entirely if requested by the majority) we will be playing as the one who seek power and will be backed by a snow dire wolf named Kersark The Bloodied whom was one of the few living advisors to the last 'darker' king of Narnia. He has heard rumors of the armies of justice gathering under the banner of the other group. While Kersark may not like it he will be seeing us as the only chance to make sure his enemies don't take over once more. And in exchange he offers us....the land of Narnia itself if we can take it.
So with that being said this will be a relatively medium level casual meaning this will be higher than lower casual (which won't be accepted for the most part) but a ridiculous amount of words aren't needed like higher casuals. You may be a sort of in-between not really wanting to be evil and playing a sort of chaotic good or whatever you'd like to be but siding with Aslan may result in...fatal consequences for betraying you fellows. The start may be slow but once we get into Narnia it is sure to be picked up. This will be a more mature based than the first Disney movie and I will be going off of what info I can gather from the movies and the books and or making up some entirely but I have not read the books themselves and there will not be any cannon characters unless the majority of the roleplay is fine with adding them in. In fact the other group mentioned above can be Peter's family.

The whole jest of this roleplay is that there are no sides already really established the good side may have an advantage but their lower in numbers while the darker forces have been warring with each other and will need a true group of leaders to unite them. Essentially we are the anti version of Peter's group. We seek power and rank for those purposes or because we don't believe in Aslan's cause or for the sake of simply not being murdered by your would be allies for turning on you. After all they are offering to make you all kings and queens alike just to stop a self righteous lion and his puppets. So does anyone feel like being particularly interested in Lion hunting?

Seriously no one is interested in playing as the bad guys for once?

To be honest, with everyone playing a villain(unless someone plays a protagonist) I don't see how this would really go anywhere. Everyone knows that without protagonists, the antagonist will always win....

There are protagonists they're allies of Aslan just like in the books and the movies they're going to be the opposites of our group. Meaning we're not the only humans who've happened upon Narnia. We're not necessarily evil per say but we're definitely not the good guys. It's a sort of anti-hero and villain group vs. the actual hero group. Hero Antagonists vs. Villain protagonists. We are more or less going to be on the 'evil' side be it because of Kersark the Bloodied Influenced us to be that way (you'll see his arguments if this rp is made). More or less think of this as Tywin Lannister's family vs. Robb Stark's Family from the game of thrones.

For example my guy's motivation for becoming king besides the aforementioned? He dislikes what he sees around him and how one sided this has all become. Aslan's will is being forced onto creatures who prefer the winter to the summer and spring. It makes them uncomfortable and they have no say in the matter for the most part. He's more or less going for being the people's champion with a bit of selfishness being thrown in. I clearly can't make the argument that he is doing good seeing as Aslan IS the big good. He is the Anarchy to Aslan's Batman,

Yes, but if you don't have players on both sides it becomes boring and usually doesn't go anywhere.

And then what when no one side wants to win? I do only one type of roleplay: Single sided. I've been in roleplays with multiple factions and each one failed for me due to either bad GM'ing on their part OR the characters not agreeing with each other causing a huge collapse. I've seen only about a handful of multiple factions roleplay actually come out good personally. Melkor if you don't like this roleplay's concept you're free to criticize it all you'd like but if you're not interested in joining I'll politely ask that you please move along. You may have different experiences than me and this may very well go just as you say in the end if it does start. But I doubt it will personally go down hill like you say. Case in point my gundam roleplays each has ended due to personal life conflicting with the ability to post and they have all entirely been about one faction. Yes they've been relatively boring per say with tons of exposition but only due to the fact that I've never gotten a chance to get to the truly interesting stuff. I do roleplays like I would a collaborative book each person adds onto it.

Everyone does roleplays like a collaborative book.... Additionally, I was simply answering your question - "Seriously no one is interested in palying as the bad guys for once?" But, you're right - I have no interest in this RP because of the reasons I've already said, I was simply trying to enlighten you as to why no one had answered. In the end - suit yourself.
