I'm new around these parts, and looking to start private RPs over the boards, PMs or email. I dabble in a few fandoms, but I'm mainly interested in original RPs with original plots/settings/characters. I write male and female characters, and I'm het/slash/femslash friendly, but I find RPs solely dedicated to romance boring. I prefer when characters spark chemistry on their own over time, rather than jump each other's bones within five minutes of meeting. On that note, I am open to tastefully written smut, as long as it isn't gratuitous and adds depth to character relationships, but I am also fine fading to black; it depends on my partner's comfort level, really.

My posts are typically one to four paragraphs. If I start a topic tonight, my posts will be on the shorter end since I'm writing on my tablet. I believe in quality over quantity; shorter posts keep the game at a faster pace, but if you continually answer my paragraph replies with one liners, I'm not going to be impressed. I try to respond multiple times throughout the day, but RL gets hectic and sometimes I won't be able to reply for a day or two. I try to give my partners advanced notice whenever I know I'll be absent from the interwebs.

I love games with a mixture of action, adventure, drama, humor and romance. I'm greedy; I want it all. I never do slice-of-life or reality RPs; there has to be an element of magic and fantasy to keep me interested. I only write original characters, even in fandom settings, because I never feel like I am doing the canons justice.

As far as original settings go, I am fond of urban fantasy and traditional high fantasy worlds. I'm open to horror and sci-fi, but fantasy will always be my favorite. We have so much in common aside from our fandoms~ the most I can connect with you fandom wise is Avatar, and I can't tell you too much about it. I'm a little bit more explorative with romances, but I try to hold them off until the gray area between one major plot event being resolved and coming up with a new one. That being said, I'm not too romantic, but I can do everything else~
