Joli was a little taken aback by the woma-- Sonya's explanation, but amid the confusion and chaos of the fire, he'd felt a certain excitement in the danger that surrounded them. It also seemed to present a unique opportunity to study the peculiar group of children that had stayed behind in the fire. It was strange that anyone would think of saving people versus saving themselves in a sudden situation like that. What was stranger still was that someone Sonya knew had started the fire...if that was the case, it would appear things in Trespiano were very different than he'd heard. What's more, that morbid little show was put on specifically for the members drawn to this woman's side...how could they have known that they would act? Better yet, why would they assume they'd all end up together? What if one of them had died...

However, the simple fact that there was so many questions, almost gave legitimacy to her story; only the mafia would be so brazen and ignorant. Again, becoming internally focused, Joli was brought back to the present by a tiff a laughter that jutted from his mouth as he watched the one identified as Daisuke make shooting noises from one of his favorite movies! It was uncontrollable and abrupt, and he was immediately self-conscious. If there was anything he hated about himself, it was undeniably his high-pitched, squealing laugh. He turned away from embarrassment, placing his hands behind his back and, looking down, he started lightly kicking the dirt.

"I..I like that movie..."

What… was he doing? Before he could make his way back home, the guy that knocked over his eggs shouted his name and stated that he was a liar since he had “egg” in his last name. Cyril glowered over at him as he forced his voice to become deeper, reciting a line from a famous American movie and pretending to shoot him. At that, his temper almost boiled over. One should know that Cyril was a very patient boy, yet he bottled up his anger until he couldn’t hold it in anymore. It was obvious by the way that his face screwed up that he was near that boiling point. His brows furrowed and his mouth curled downwards, very much different from the usual stoic and calm face he wore at school.

”The Hell are you doing, you damn idiot?” he barked at Daisuke, running a hand through his ebony locks of hair before turning toward the woman. Cyril wondered what would happen if he simply walked away. He thought that they would chase him down, but… would they really? ”You. The woman with the hair.” he walked up to Sonya again, snarling at her. ”I have no interest in becoming a Vongola. I’ve left the mafia life behind.”

Cyril crossed his arms and looked at everyone. So, these were the Guardians, then? What a heap of scrap metal. ”If I might provide some insight, woman. These people have no potential of becoming Guardians of the Vongola Family. Especially this kid. I doubt he even has a brain.” he jerked his thumb in the direction of Daisuke, his angry expression becoming more pronounced. ”Anyway, isn’t it too early for you to be picking candidates? I don’t know much, but I believe that the big guy at the head of the Vongola isn’t close to kicking the bucket.”

The Mafia? Benjamin thought, concerned. Two others kids seemed to be jumping on the idea that this was some game. No one started fires because they were playing games. Not to mention these kids probably thought the Mafia only existed in movies anymore. Ben, on the other hand, was very aware of their existence. He sized the woman up for a minute, or at least tried to. "What do you mean by 'guardian'. And what's with the weather?" He said, having regained his breath, as he walked towards Sonya. Her last name suggested she was Russian. "Besides that, why do you have us picked out and assigned a weather phenomenon?" He didn't know enough about that world to know of the Vongola. Only enough to understand the gravitas of a situation involving them.

He wanted to know what the deal was and why he was chosen for... Cloud. The Cloud Guardian. Whatever the Hell that meant. Was this woman serious about recruiting for the mafia of all things? And strongest family in the world seemed a bit exaggerated. Finally, he wanted to know if his father had roped him into this to try and pay off his debts. That man was stupid as all get out. "Oh. And why kids? We're in junior high or high school."

Naoto couldn't believe what he was hearing. It all sounded ridiculously farfetched but the most concerning part was his role in it all. "This is a joke, right? The mafia...me, boss...of course it's a joke." Naoto seemed a little panicked. "One, I doubt the mafia are recruiting kids and two...there's no way i could be a mafia boss or lead anybody." He turned as Jakki walked over thinking it was a game which was a more optimistic idea from Naoto's that Sonya was an escape mental patient. Naoto was glad she took his side that he was no option for a mafia boss but but was a little upset that she brought up being soccer captain. "I'm not gonna be captain either. I just don't have what it takes to lead...nothing good would come from it..."

"I'm outta here..." Naoto said starting to turn and leave until Sonya called the fire a test. His body started to tremble and he worked whirled around glaring at Sonya. "A test...you call that a test!? Someone could've been killed! It home could've been destroyed!" Naoto reached out and grabbed her arm firmly. "Tell more where the bastard who set fire is so I can use his head for penalty kick practice!"

Abby was grateful for the help from the blond guy and once she was able to stand on her own two feet again, she looked down at her knees and hissed. They were already bruising up, all because of that weird red-haired woman and her stupid test. Now that she wasn't being almost smothered, she turned to the others. "Yeah, I'm going to get this guy to safety so you all can just stay here and play your weird make-believe mafia game or whatever. And lady, you need to take your meds because you're just spouting crazy talk." With that, she turned to make her exit. It wasn't until she made her first step that Sonya grabbed a pebble from the ground and threw it at Abby's blond head. The short girl yelped and fell forward, crying out in pain when she fell on her knees again but the blond was more concerned about her aching head.

"You are not going anywhere you little brat." Sonya hissed under her breath. There was no way in hell she could control her temper around these clueless idiots. Pulling her arm out of Naoto's grasp, she marched over to Jakki and Daisuke and slapped them upside their heads. She then moved on to Cyril, Benjamin, Joli and finally Naoto before facing all the teens.

"Listen up, I'm not insane nor am I playing some sick joke. The reason I'm here is to turn you whiny brats into the future Vongola guardians." Sonya suddenly cut herself off short and turned her attention down the street. She then cursed under her breath and looked back at the teens.

"Looks like we're going to have to continue this conversation elsewhere. The fire department and half the town is headed over here. Once they see you lot, they'll automatically assumed you all started it. And I'm sure you don't want that on your records. Now, if you want me to answer your questions, I'll be waiting for you down by the beach. However, I can give you a quick demonstration as an answer for your question Benjamin." As she said this, Sonya began to reach behind her back.

"The reason behind the weather names is because each title is named after a type of Dying Will Flame. And before you ask, this is a Dying Will Flame." From behind her, she pulled out a black pistol. Abby gasped as Sonya grabbed Naoto's shirt and pointed the pistol at his forehead. The red-haired woman gave him a wicked grin.

"Let's see if I can get some passion out of you, boy."

Naoto looked back as the blonde fell to her knees with considerable pain. His gaze dated back to Sonya. "Knock it off! I'm not gonna sit hear and let you bully us into your such game!" The woman ignored him and pulled out of his grip. She proceeded to slap everyone. Naoto jogged over to check on Abby since she was obviously in more pain than a slap to the back of the head. As he did so Sonya went into some kind of lesson for the Spanish boy. "Are you alright? Can you stand?" Naoto asked as he believed the blonde to her feet. "This lady's starting to really annoy m-" He was cut off by the girl's sudden gasp and Sonya yanking him away by his shirt. Naoto's eyes widened when he saw the gun. This has gotta be a dream!"

"Let's see if I can get some pain out of you, boy."

"W-wait, what are you-!?" The last sound he heard echoed in his mind for what seemed like hours. Shit. His body hit the cobblestone street with a thud as Sonya turned and walked away towards the beach, gone as fast as she had shown up. I'm going to die...how unfair...I wanted to play at the world cup...i wanted to score the winning goal...so many regrets...but what I regret most right now...is letting that woman push all of us around! Naoto's body lay there lifeless. Suddenly his body started to twitch. A strange flame sparked to life on his forehead and he started to get to his feet. "Re-BORN!" Naoto exclaimed as he threw his arms into the air and his clothes shredded except for his boxers and his scarf. "Raaawr! Teach the red haired woman a lesson with my dying will!!" He turned and looked at the others with wide determined eyes. "Everybody, let's go!" Naoto shouted and took off down the street towards the beach, leaving a trail of dust behind him.

"Santo mierda!" Benjamin shouted as Sonya shot Naoto in the forehead. "What the-" But before he could protest further she was gone. She really was in this mafia. She was serious about this. She'd shot Naoto because he'd protested. He wasn't stupid enough to argue. At least until he could safely avoid this all. Then suddenly the pink-haired boy leapt up, nothing but his boxers and scarf left, and shouted a few things. Dying flame? What is this magic? Just a reflection of light, right? That isn't real fire?" But Naoto was down the road and the fire department and law authorities were just a few blocks away. Time to dip.

He sprinted, hard and fast, down the streets of Trespiano. He couldn't catch Naoto, not even if he were dressed for it, but his pace was fueled by desperation and fear that he might be blamed. It was enough to carry him through the houses and stores and what else their town had. He finally saw the beach, where that woman and Naoto had gone to, but didn't go directly to it. No. He took a detour one of two blocks to the left of his initial direction and stood by the edge if the sand. He slipped his shoes off and put his socks in them. He was fairly out of view so he decided to survey the area. The beach was empty. Of course. There had been a festival. The shops along the beachfront looked locked but that probably wouldn't stop Sonya or anyone she was associated with. He figured that if she had had him tracked, since she knew he'd be in Trespiano, that escaping into obscurity might be futile. So he walked down the beach, barefoot with shoes in hand, and untucked his button-down as he approached. "Hello?" He called for either the ginger woman or the pink haired child.

So this woman was part of the Vongola Famiglia after all. This was bad. This made his doubts become drowned in fear and worry. His father probably knew about the Vongola’s presence in Trespiano. Would he send people after him? He sure as hell hoped not. The young man glowered at the woman as she approached Naoto. What was she planning? Her hand went to her pack as if she were going to grab something, but when she pulled her hand back, he saw that she was clutching a pistol. At that, Cyril bristled, taking an offensive stance. She wasn’t going to… shoot someone, was she? She couldn’t have gathered all of them here just to kill a guy. The Vongola weren’t like that. At least… he didn’t think so.

The woman shot Naoto, but instead of dying, he was filled with what seemed a new and radiant energy. Before he knew it, the young pink haired boy was half way to the beach, Benjamin running behind him. Cyril’s stoic expression had morphed into one of shock and surprise. Dying Will Flames? I’ve heard of them, but… As much as he wanted to turn away and go home, curiosity got the best of him. Cyril cursed under his breath and ran after the two boys, catching up to Benjamin after a while. His eyes flicked up to the dark haired fellow. ”You know that you won’t catch up to him at this pace, right?”

Cyril turned his dark gaze back toward the street as he ran. Damn, this Vongola boss kid really runs fast.

That woman sure was strict looking, though. If she was to be their teacher or tutor or whatever, Cyril was going to flip. There was no way that he’d let her yell at him as if he were in boot camp. There was no way that he would let her teach him. He had no intention in involving himself with the Mafia again, especially not the Vongola. Yet he continued to run toward the beach, grateful for the amount of stamina that his body contained.

When the two reached the beach, Cyril paused beside Benjamin and looked around. The beach was rather quiet today… He supposed that it was because of the festival. Not many people would be in other places other than town square. Where the hell is everyone? he thought, his eyes flicking to and fro the sandy shore. They should be here.
Before he knew it, he was saved from the burning mess that had almost surrounded him. If he had been caught in a fiery trap, he would have died from all of the smoke inhalation and the like. Fionn had walked to where all of the people were gathering, complaining a bit as he rubbed his eyes. The smoke from the fire had irritated them. The smoke had also made his throat extremely dry. I am so totally going to have a sore throat in the morning. That, or my clothes are going to smell like ash. he sighed, glancing at all of the strange faces that were near him. They were all boys and girls of his age, except for the woman with the red hair. Mafia?

The mention of that secretive organized crime group made Fionn blink in surprise. Had they done something to get in their way? I knew it was a bad idea to come to the festival. I don’t know why I couldn’t just stay home. I just had to go and leave the house today, right?

Someone pulled out a gun, and a shot was fired. Fionn was about to turn and flee the scene when he saw the boy that had saved his life run toward the beach at breakneck speed. The blond haired Welsh boy didn’t know what was going on, but he decided that he had to find out, even if what was going on was because of the Mafia. What did the woman mean when she said that I was a candidate for the Sun? he asked himself as he ran toward the beach as well. She mentioned something about the Dying Will Flames, but… what are they?

Sooner or later, Fionn found himself at the beach with two other boys. The pink haired boy or the red haired woman were nowhere to be seen. Did we come to the right place? he asked as he glanced up at the two other boys. One of them called out, but the other one remained silent. ”Do you think that they actually came here?” Fionn asked the boy that had actually bothered to say something. ”They could have gone somewhere else…”

Jak's nice little fantasy came crashing down around her as the Vongola woman slapped her upside the head. The way she moved was experienced, silent. True terror came when she stopped rubbing the back of her head long enough to see Naoto being pulled by shirt close to the woman. Jak didn't even see the gun until it was resting on Naoto's forehead. Jak barely had time to breathe in before the shot was fired. Naoto's... he's- before the thought could even be finished, he leapt up, shed all but his underwear and scarf, and proceeded to run towards the beach.

Jak believed in Dying Will flames now. She didn't doubt Sonya before, honestly, but she was still in disbelief. She was going to be involved in the mafia? What a silly thought. Of well, it couldn't be helped. The wheel of fate was turning now, and it never cared who was crushed under it. "Hey, Naoto, wait up!" she called after him, a little slower than him, but she managed to keep him just in sight. She knew the kid was fast, but this was next level stuff. How did he manage to survive that bullet? Why did he? That was point blank shot, there was no way Sonya could have missed him. "Well, down the rabbit hole I go." Jak muttered to herself, trying to keep up with crazed Naoto.

Benjamin took a moment to catch his breath. Cyril had caught up to him and made a sly remark. Oh no. He'd clearly thought he would catch up to the kid running as fast as a bus with a bomb strapped to it. He'd really just wanted to avoid answering questions. He ignored Cyril for the most part but then another came up. Fionn, right? That's what Sonya had called him? "I don't know. But we can see most of the beach, so someone in their undergarments or fiery hair can't possibly be easy to miss." He answered, running his free hand through his own hair. He paused a moment, in thought, and asked, "What do you two think about this? This mess we're in? This is all incredulous, right? I'm not a loon?" He was trying to work through this all. Trying to make sense of it in his head; an unsuccessful task as of yet. Deciding he'd wait, Benjamin walked towards the water's edge and stopped a meter before, then promptly sat on his rump. Wouldn't you want to, too? After racing around, dousing and clearing debris from a fire? Through smoke no less? Then taking a flat sprint to the beach to avoid legal blame or questions. This was all a better workout than fencing had ever been for him. What have I gotten myself into?

Joli was shocked at the sudden pain in the back of his head, but it certainly grabbed his full attention. Which, unfortunately, was immediately necessary as he watched in horror as a young man was shot...in the head! . His initial instinct was to fight, to reach for the gun and defensively retaliate; but even that notion was thwarted by Sonya. Quickly she bolted down the street, leaving them, a bunch of children, with an ultimatum.

Still, it would be the perfect time for a swim; no tourists, no bothers, and most importantly it would allow him and the other children to escape the danger of being framed. No sooner had he thought this than he saw Naoto, he thought he remembered him being called, run in the direction of the beach. Needless to say, Joli was both amazed and confused. He'd never heard of this dying will frames or mafia guardians, but if he knew anything, it was that no one wants to have their forehead to burned off! There was definitely now more than one reason to follow them. First, he might become immortal, or so its seems: secondly, Joli has always respected the mafia, though this experience was still hard to believe: thirdly, he could probably gather a great deal of data and information, on top of meeting new people.

It was shocking to see Naoto jet away, but what was even more odd was that, with the exception of a few, many of the kids were chasing after them! Going to the beach if he remembered correctly. Joli could hear the sirens closing in and really didn't have time to think, so instead he turned to the girls that remained and said, [b]"I don't know about you, but I'm definitely not taking the fall for this!"[b]

With that he was gone, on his way as swiftly as possible to the beach. It wouldn't be long till he arrived, and the very first thing he was going to do was give Naoto a jacket!

Daisuke wondered why the scary woman seemed to focus her attention solely on one of the boys. He thought back to his lessons in elementary school, and how much they had emphasized the phrase, "I need an adult!" when it came to capitalizing stranger danger. He wondered if this was one of those situations...

"Ooh!" Daisuke beamed as he saw the scary woman pull out what looked to be a handgun. While he was pretending to have two of them in his hands, this woman actually had a physical toy of a gun! It looks so real, too! Cool! He began to imitate the woman as she pointed it towards the boy, even going so far as to copying what she was saying. "Let's see if I can get some passion out of you," he repeated darkly, his hand recoiling backwards. That was when the familiar sound of a real gun firing blared through his ear and sent a shock down his spine, causing him to nearly cower low to protect himself.

But there was no blood or any sound of pain as the bullet struck the boy directly through the forehead.
Instead, the boy laid there almost lifeless for a few moments before his body revitalized, springing from the ground as an orange flame emerged from where the bullet had made its entrance. Daisuke blinked as the boy's clothes suddenly dissipated save for his boxers, and watched him run off into the distance. "What-" he said in awe as the other kids prepared to give chase, a grin spreading across his face. He kicked up some dust and followed suit, managing to pass by a few of the others that followed along but trailing behind Cyril and the other one. "Haha! This is fun!"

Though, by the time they reached the beach, the entire front of Daisuke's body landed directly into the sand as he found himself completely out of breath. He wasn't much of an athlete if at all, and keeping up with the entire group throughout the run was more running than he had ever done, he felt. He coughed and wheezed, raising his head out of the sand and choking on some sand. He groaned, pouting, "Gee, that was tiring! I wish I could run around naked, I wouldn't be sweating so much!"
Watching all of the Guardian candidates run around the town before ending up at the beach managed to bring an amused laugh from Vector's mouth. He folded his arms as he stood atop of a taller building, his foot against the raised edge of the roof that overlooked the coastline. These kids were, at most, a curious bunch, but their worth of becoming the next generation Vongola Guardians was the concern. He and Decimo had disagreed with one another on two selections, and there was a growing debate over whether or not Lambo would retain his position as the Vongola Guardian of Lightning, or Daisuke Honda would inherit the position.

"Hmph," Vector clicked his tongue, leveling his feet together with a concerned look on his face. He folded his arms together, sighing. "I guess it's the only way," he said, turning back and walking off as he dug into pocket for his phone.

Abby was shocked, first at the sight of someone her age being shot at point blank range then in confusion when that same someone got up from the deadly attack like it was nothing and ran off in just his tacky boxers and a bright orange flame on his forehead. It took her a few moments to wrap her mind around the situation but once she did, she realized that she was the only one left in the festival grounds. She could hear the authorities moving in closer so she jumped up, double checked the forgotten unconscious man (he seemed okay) and ran away to catch up with the others.

"Hey, wait up!" She cried out, hanging on just by the edges of the group as she followed them through the twists and turns of Trespiano's backstreets. After turning another corner, Abby was finally out of the alleys and greeted with a jaw-dropping sight. Now, Abby has been to several kinds of beaches over the course of her life. From the Coney Island beaches just a couple of miles from her Manhattan home to the white sandy beaches of Hawaii. But never had she seen one that looked as beautiful as the shores of Trespiano. The blue Italian sky seemed to go on forever, making it difficult to tell where the sky ended and the sea began. The white sands of Trespiano's beach seemed untouched by man, most likely because of the festival. But even Abby could see that the beach was well taken care of with the lack of trash and debris she was used to seeing on other beaches. In the back of her mind, the blond knew the beach wasn't really as amazing as she perceived it to be but the added euphoria from thoughts of adventure seemed to give it that extra dazzle.

Abby scrambled to take her sneakers off before jumping onto the warm sand, relishing the feeling of the tiny grains digging in between her toes. She took a few seconds to admire the scene around her when she noticed something red out of the corner of her eye. Looking away from the group towards a couple of rocks sitting along the shore a good number of yards away, Abby saw Sonya standing on top of the tallest rock, her long-hair flowing behind her like a declaration. And rushing towards her form was the half-naked Naoto.

"There she is!" She yelled to the others standing just a few feet away from her.

"Uuuooooohhh!" Naoto raced down the street. He was on fire, literally and figuratively, to knock Sonya down a peg. So much so that he disregarded the concept of turning as he paved a straight away path to the beach. This consisted of him smashing through windows and barreling through houses. He even ran straight up a draw bridge as it was raising to let a boat by. He launched off the bridge and tumbled through the air, landing in a lumber yard. Miraculously, Naoto crushed out of a pile of a lumber and continued to the beach unscathed.

Arriving at the beach in record time, Naoto suppressants approached rapidly. Coincidentally, a truck drove through Naoto's path. The pink haired, half naked would child smacked into the side and vaulted over it, caring into the beach with an explosion of sand. Without a moment wasted Naoto jumped to his feet and supported Sonya. "Oi! I'm gonna beat you red haired lady with my dying will!" Naoto charged the mafia woman had on.

Some girl ran up, Abby, Ben remembered, and joined their little cluster. He stretched his legs out over the sand with no regard for the cleanliness of his pants. The sand was warm underneath him as he pulled his knees up to rest his arms on. Suddenly things were quiet and he'd finally found his breathe, at long last. He, along with Abby, saw Sonya up on the rock, red hair like a lighthouse's flare. In the distance, he heard crashing and general chaos. Suddenly, Naoto emerged, flying through the sky, and landed face first in the sand, not twenty meters away.

Benjamin recoiled hard in surprise. How did he survive that? How did he get sent flying in the first place? And why didn't he look hurt? Why was Benjamin still even here!? What ungodly force was at play here? He did a quick cross over his torso and head, instinctively, as he watched Naoto dash off to fight Sonya. He'd only just met that woman but she was dangerous. Not someone to piss. "This is a dream, yeah? You're all figments if my imagination? How else do you possibly explain that?" That boy should be dead four time over, and yet he was pulling off the most amazing stunts and tricks. Sonya had never truly answered a question. Just caused more and more.

Abby turned and gave the Spanish teen sitting on the beach beside her a inquisitive look. Then, she bent down and tapped the top of his head a few times. "There, you still think you're dreaming?" She asked cheerfully. She was about to continue when Naoto's crash landing interrupted him. Abby jumped in surprise when the pink-haired boy got up like it was nothing and leaped at the woman with his fist extended. Sonya rolled her eyes before she caught it with ease and retaliated it with a kick to his stomach, sending him flying back. Abby flinched when he made impact on the sand a second time, but again he got up with even more gusto than before. What exactly is he...?

Sonya was rather pleased to see Naoto and the other candidates had arrived to the beach in a matter of minutes. For the most part, their speed seemed okay. She checked that part off of her list as she gracefully leaped off the rock and onto the sandy beach just as Naoto rose back up.

"Didn't you want to teach me a lesson?" She asked with a smirk. The pink-haired boy roared and sprinted towards her, wildly throwing punches and kicks in all directions. Sonya dodged them all with ease, quickly growing tired of his shenanigans. She would hate to leave the rest out of the loop and still needed to answer their qu-

Out of nowhere, Naoto threw a well-placed punch at her stomach. Sonya had no time to dodge and instead blocked his fist with an open palm. A moment later, she twisted his arm behind his back and pushed him down onto his stomach. She held him down, using just the right amount of force to not suffocate him but to still keep him restrained. Her trimmed eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She knew for a fact that this was Naoto's first time being shot with a Dying Will Bullet so he shouldn't have any control over his actions. Whether that punch was due to luck or skill was something she'd find out later.

Sonya looked up at the confused teenagers, an emotionless look on her face as she continued to calmly restrain the thrashing boy. "As you can see, he isn't dead as all of you first believed. I shot Naoto with a Dying Will Bullet. If you all could focus on his forehead, you'll see the orange flame on his head." She pointed to the flame with her free hand, "This is a Dying Will Flame, a high-density form of energy that is refined from one's own life-force. Dying Will Flames are graded accordingly with their purity, which has a direct relationship with the strength of an individual's resolve. Among other things, this rate of purity serves to indicate how much of the special characteristics of the Flames are being drawn out. There are seven different types of Dying Will Flames, named after the seven phenomena in the sky: the Sky itself, Storm, Rain, Sun, Lightning, Cloud, and Mist. That is why the Vongola Boss and his Guardians are named after weather phenomena is because each person uses a different flame. I'll go into more detail during training on the different characteristics of each flame." Sonya retracted her hand and turned her attention to Benjamin and Cyril who had previously asked her some other questions.

"The reason we are looking for the future Vongola guardians already is because the Decimo thinks it is time to start on your training. He and his Guardians started when they were around your age so why not keep that tradition going? It has brought about the greatest generation of Vongola Guardians since the 1st generation after all. Any other questions? And I'm asking for legitimate questions, not your damn complaints." Abby raised her hand. Sonya gave her a glare.

"What?"

"How about a comment?"

"As long as it isn't stupid."

"Okay," Abby nodded in understanding, "I think you killed Naoto." Sonya looked down and noticed that the pink-haired boy had indeed stopped moving. The Sky flame also had disappeared from his forehead. Releasing him from her hold, Sonya stood up and 'lightly' kicked Naoto's side.

"Get up."

Abby tapped him on the head, and Benjamin offered a soft smile. She seemed nice. Naoto on the other hand, seemed like a fool. He's rushed Sonya and the one hit it looked like might have connected, she countered and suddenly he was on his face in the sand. Never had he ever been so happy to just be sitting and not part of the action. Sonya had displayed a powerful riposte, despite it having been hand to hand. Soon, the mysterious woman started to explain Dying Will and the aspects. It was certainly... Interesting. Most definitely not something he'd heard before, or even of.

"I only have question one left." Ben told her. "Now what?"
He wasn't eager to join the mafia, exactly. He didn't really want to. What he wanted was to go home and forget this happened. But it did, apparently. Somehow. Even though Benjamin would never admit it, in the back of his mind he thought he could help his father out. Perhaps being this... 'Cloud Guardian' might get some collectors off his tail. If only to protect his mother and the likely other illegitimate child that bastardized had fostered.

"Uhm... excuse me, ma'am?"

Daisuke felt like he had been on the edge of his seat in a movie theater throughout the entire thing, and had even made childish "POW!" and "BANG!" noises as the naked boy with the forehead on fire rustled with the scary lady. Though, it was afterwards that had him blinking in confusion. The woman started to talk about something called Dying Will Flames, and resolve, and something about the Vongola, and all he had gotten out of it was, "Clams?" afterwards.

Daisuke raised his hand obediently as if he had been waiting for his turn to speak, lowering it to scratch the back of his head and being that one person. "Er.... uhm... actually..." he dragged his words and began, a nervous smile on his face as he closed his eyes and his smile grew wider, speaking up so his voice was loud and coherent. "I didn't understand anything you just said!"

Jak couldn't keep up with Naoto. Not to mention, she took a quick shortcut that led her to the beach just in time to Naoto crash land on the beach then promptly get the snot kicked out of him. Jak smiled, laughing at the scene. "Well, I made it just in time I guess." Jak listened to explanation on the various flames intently, nodding at each flame. She wondered what this 'rain flame' looked like. If she was the Guardian of Rain or whatever, it seemed she'd have to train and fight.
She wondered what weapon she should use. It would be cool if she could use her bat, but Jak couldn't bring herself to believe it. For one, she'd look like some low ranked thug. For the second, it didn't really feel like a weapon as much as a tool to her. It wasn't an issue anyway. Sonya didn't seem like someone mean or awful, just very invested in what she did. Jak kind of pitied her, having to deal with kids like Naoto and her.
Then Daisuke chimed in, and Jak had to force herself not to laugh loudly. "I'm sure she'll explain it all later. Besides, right now I don't think that we need to worry about flames. We just need to think about training for whatever Miss Sonya expects us to do. Besides, it'll all work out anyway." even Jak didn't really understand what Sonya was saying precisely, but she figured that she'd roll with it.
"Oh! Miss Sonya, I was wondering why you decided to pick us. I mean, we're just a bunch of kids from a small town. If you guys want hardened criminals and mafia, you might want to try Venice." she rubbed the back and of neck and smiled.

Cyril looked out over the ocean, his eyes scanning the horizon. This was certainly strange. All he wanted to do was spend the rest of his day at home. He hadn’t even wanted to go to the festival! But one thing led to the other and there he was, standing on some beach, waiting for a boy in trousers to come and a red haired woman to make an appearance. He was sure that they had come the right way… A boy questioned him, asking what he thought about the situation that he was in. Before he could snap a reply, the rest of the people from the festival came over, seemingly looking for the duo as well. I still can’t believe this is happening. Mafia in their little town. Really?

The pink haired boy and the red haired woman made an appearance. The woman was precariously perched on a tall rock, while the pink haired boy made a rush for her. Cyril watched, silent and serious, but truth be told that he was a bit amused. It was obvious that the boy would lose to the woman. One could tell that she had the potential of being a very strong opponent in combat. After a quick squabble, the boy, who was named Naoto, was on the ground, Sonya hovering above him like a cloud.

Cyril’s lips curled upwards into a smirk when he realized that this woman had a short fuse for a temper. It was obvious in the way that she spoke and carried herself. Sonya was a no nonsense woman. The black haired boy shifted his feet, scuffing up sand as he remained silent… at least, for a little longer. Abigail, who was the blond haired girl that spoke up and told Sonya that she thought that she killed Naoto. At this, Sonya reacted and kicked the boy in the side, before the idiot Daisuke spoke up. Jak chimed in last, explaining that she was confused as to why she picked them.

He rolled his eyes and shook his head. His gaze flicked to Benjamin before answering him. ”I don’t care what happens next. I don’t want to get involved.” he stared at Sonya as if he were issuing a challenge, his jaw taut and stance firm. ”Everyone knows that the Vongola are a bunch of clam-heads, anyway.”

Fionn, however, remained silent for the duration of their little session of “Question and Answer”. He stayed to the outermost edge of the group, but more so near Joli. That boy was a “Guardian” too, right? Then he had to be important. At least he didn’t seem as hostile as the rest of the kids that were gathered. If something happened, he could very much stay near him and let him defend him. ”This is a huge mess…” he sighed out, running a hand through his hair. ”I don’t understand why we can’t gather at a home and she can explain all of this properly over a few cups of tea…”
