Out of curiosity, how far away is this man with the sword from Norak? He's also likely pointing a sword at the Orc's back, as he passed everyone to talk to the man in the center of the Point.

I really don't know what is going on anymore, we need to all calm down and wait for Dark's post to me it makes no sense to do all this fighting, both IC and OOC.

No one is fighting ooc or IC. And I was thinking face to face Melon. Simply because only a coward attacks from behind.

From your post I had gotten that the orc was talking to the old man, but hadn't really allowed himself to be encircled by a group of creatures and things that he didn't know. But whichever is fine. I'd prefer face to face simply because it is more Oscar's personality. Off to work.

It doesn't really matter, he's facing the center, your character was off to one side, and I don't think anyone passed the figure in the middle, so it must be towards his back.

There are four Naeri Elders, each of a different race:
Balroq the Orc "Lord"
Gilfry the Dwarf "Drunkard"
Sera the Human "Princess"
Maria the Alunei "Mystic"

Two women, two men. All four are very skilled and are also arcane, they resemble the most powerful members of the Naeri in music, dance, history, and even combat. They also have a title associated to them according to their perceived personality and race.

Balroq is a powerful bassist and has been said in rumors to create earthquakes with his voice. This of course, is not true. He can however theoretically blow your socks off.

Gilfry is a known drunk, he is not a great singer, but he has knowledge of unsurpassed volume according to the Naeri. His magic is not talked about but is assumed to be tied to requiring a drunken state to perform correctly.

Sera was a short lived elder in the since she has disappeared. Little is known about her by the public, but it is known she has a voice to silence storms. (In rumor, so again, this is not true). The nature of her disappearance was mysterious and she somehow got the title Princess.

Maria is well known for the fact her wings have grown dark for whatever reason and she can be described by some to resemble some heavenly being that has fallen out of grace. Despite her looks, she is a very loving individual, but she is hardly ever seen. Like Sera, her voice is considered unsurpassed, however, it has been described as the voice of temptation.

Will post this into the compendium with a whole lot of other shit once I'm done with it all. I'm pouring my heart and soul into dreaming up a detailed culture and description for the Naeri.

This is loose verification but "He did not carry on with a frenzy of words and spoke directly, “You have intent in your eyes beast. Let it be known.” The words were calm, steady."

He would not know what the orc's eyes held unless he was looking him in the eyes. He's standing in front of him. I'm going to go reread your post.

^That leads me to believe that "some distance" is left up to the reader's discretion. It could be a foot or several meters. Also, from previous posts, the orc has maintained distance between the other party members and himself.

As long as the point of interaction is referenced in some way, explicit details are not required. I, the writer, was not planning on starting a fight at all. It is far too early in the story to kill off main characters. Hell, if it makes it better for all involved, I'll rewrite my post to exclude that part. I obviously don't have a problem striking out parts of my post if the majority of those involved have an issue with it, considering I've already done it once. I was just playing Oscar as he is. Nothing more.

Holy is a matter of perspective. A follower of Dúv wouldn't find it as such. With that said, and as it has been said, Oscar has no intent to kill. So far, there is a gathering of rather docile individuals. To expect that an open welcome will be given to the one who isn't, seems silly to me. Especially going off the actions made by the character in previous posts.

Edit your character moving between the Orc and the person Norak is talking to if you want to challenge him face to face.

As for the 'eyes' thing, you wrote that, it doesn't somehow abstractly negate facts. Your character moved off to one side to talk to angel face, where-as my character moved straight ahead to the middle of the point. Hence my point, your character has to move between them if he wants his dramatic sword pointing moment.
