EDIT: The OOC is out!

The legend goes that there was this Goddess the size of a planet who was in charge of safekeeping an Earth-like planet from harm. However, she was slightly naive at the time and didn't realize an evil plot by one of her fellow Goddesses, her sister no less, who secretly unleashed a race of her own creation, monsters (the exact term for them undecided), to meddle with this Goddess's creations. The monsters were feeding on the planet's energy in secret. The Goddess failed in her duty to detect and stop them in time, and by then her power had faded too much to defeat her sister, as her power was tied to this planet. The inhabitants of the planet were similarly taken off guard and only managed a paltry defense, loosing the war with the monsters and threatened with extinction.

The planet was too far gone, but the Goddess had one last plan. She managed to scoop up most of the surviving life forms into her hands, who had all agreed to meet at that location if at all possible, and then she escaped into a realm where her sister couldn't find her. Knowing that the life forms in her hands would quickly die in this current state, she sacrificed herself so that they might live on. She curled up into a ball and went into a deep hibernation, for all intents and purposes dead, and used her energy that had kept her living to pass on to the humans and other life forms. An atmosphere and earth-like gravity was created around her (as an example you can walk all the way around the circumference of her arm and remain upright the entire time). Plant life grew out of her skin, creating vast forests. Her "sweat" turns into seas. Many other materials also formed onto her skin such as rocks, soil, diamonds, etc. She became mother earth, allowing to live just as they had on the planet that had been destroyed.

The life forms not only survived, but due to her great sacrifice they managed to thrive. A majestic city have formed in the palms of her hands, where they all originated from, and they have expanded many other places as well. In case you're wondering, she doesn't have any reproductive organs or digestive system, so she's more like a featureless doll. The only openings are the standard facial ones (ears, nose, mouth) and pores.

Although it started out as only a rumor, people begin to find out that the Goddess had, in her haste and desperation, accidentally scooped up some of the monsters who had lead to the destruction of their previous planet, and they have been multiplying and draining the energy from the Goddess keeping everyone alive. Luckily the Goddess's sister, who had created these monstrosities, hasn't found them yet, but even without her the situation is still dire. Dire, but possible to fight back. There was still hope, and they couldn't afford to loose here like they had lost their planet. The monsters are separated into classes; Class C and above can be extremely tough for normal people to deal with. However, at this point the humans had developed a new type of warrior who could fight back, imbued with special powers taken from the goddess's cells (found below all the soil and such) and inserting them into the warriors. Most people can't withstand having the cell's inserted into them, but some are able to more then others.

Thee monsters can retreat through pores in her skin and travel inside her body, which is very dangerous to humans to enter. Therefore, it's hard for the humans to get at the source of the infection. Luckily the monsters have to travel to the surface to drain the energy (the Goddess brought her energy to the surface to sustain all the life forms, after all). When they come up to steal the energy, that's the time to strike! Plus they have to travel by way of the pores because the goddess's body is too tough to burrow through directly. That gives some hope of being able to stop them in time, but it's still a difficult task because the pores can be found anywhere and they never know where they will pop up next until they trigger the advanced warning system which only gives them a few moments to prepare.

This roleplay will have lots of fight scenes, but we will also have a lot of character related stuff and exploration of this unique and bizarre "world" that we live in. That alone should keep us quite occupied with interesting experiences. Besides humans there will be a lot of other races, such as some with cat ears and tails but many others exist. Just mentioned what type of race you'd like to be and I'll see if I can add them in. Some real and fantasy animals can be here. For technology, I can go with either pure fantasy or fantasy mixed with some sci-fi depending on which one most of you prefer. The later is more likely.

So, anyone interested? Any suggestions or questions?

P.S. For anyone wondering how I came up with something so crazy, I was inspired by Xenoblade, a game where you live on a giant monster-like thing (a vague explanation as to leave out all spoilers).

Advanced if you guys are okay with it. Or casual if most people rather want casual, then some people who like to write more can still do so.

Sounds tough as tails...literally. I better watch out for those tiger nails.

Were you guys thinking of advanced weapons such as guns that shoot magic or just medieval weapons?

Either way they will get magic, which can do a wide variety of things depending on the individual. That being said, I'll allow basically any magic not too powerful or game breaking in other ways. There's also physical upgrades such as moving really fast and strong.

Anyway, it sounds alright. It's a bit vague, and without a source material that people can look to, there may need to be quite a bit of explanation further down the road, but it's certainly got some bite.
I tend to judge what RP section it belongs in by the difficulty of the concept, the potential of the concept, and the purpose of the concept.
Low difficulty concepts can be played safe, high difficulty concepts require a lot of risk-taking and the skill to do it properly.
Low potential concepts can go as far as simple fun, high potential concepts could become literary genius in the hands of great writers.
However, if the purpose of the concept was to be Free, Casual, or Advanced, then by all means, go with it.
I'd put this in Casual, personally.

I usually save most of the info or the OOC so people aren't hit by a wall of text right off the bat, but I can give additional information now if any of you request something specific. Probably locations and enemies?

ok that works well with what I was thinking. another question I have is that can there be Harvesters and breeder types, neither would fight, just one would harvest the energy while the other creates the monster, the breeders take more energy depending on the monster, because the monsters run on energy, so Class S and Class A monsters are rare, while class B and below are made in batches. that work?

All the monsters can harvest energy, but the certain one may be much better at it.

Maybe they draw energy from the air and energy can also be gotten by eating people.

actually I was planning on having that only B and up can suck energy out of people via talons like Iris from the gamera series.
the guys below B carry around "pods" that they use to suck the energy our of the dirt and trees. they would work for the class B and up guys riding the harvesters like horses and scouting around for humans. Also they work with the breeders to make more monsters. My character would be a Class A working for the sole Class S on the planet. I was thinking of maybe having it that they are trying to gain communication with their homeworld which is the old earth, now taken over by monsters.

The monsters should probably be completely organic for the most part, so by carrying pods, it would be cool if the pod was also a living organism or part of the organism doing the draining. Maybe they have glowing sacs on their body that fill with energy.

A lot of them are not intelligent so will just be acting on instinct, although they could understand basic commands by the higher ups.

The sole Class S that we know of..dun dun dun!!!

EDIT: The Goddess might have some of her energy still stored in the center of her chest to keep her alive (yet still in a deep sleep), concealed from detection or impenetrable by even the S Class monster at the moment. Perhaps some of the plot could be centered around getting to that source of energy. Maybe they need the power of that energy to communicate with the destroyed earth and their own dark goddess.

yeah I like those ideas, also I was thinking of making my character a Monster/human Hybrid because the two were fighting and came across the hidden power and it was so powerful it fused the two together so that character is somewhat conflicted when fighting.

For the location, we should probably start out in...the palm of her hand?

well for good guys, I think the monsters would avoid the humans as mush as possible while draining energy.

The back is a large area with a ton of wilderness so would be perfect for them.

well that's were the largest army is located, the smaller squads go to other parts of the body.
another thing is that there is a rumor that Class As can turn into Class S if they absorb enough Warrior powers.

Any class can upgrade class that way, but of course it would almost never happen that a E class could beat that many warriors and take their energy. They might get a lucky kill once in a blue moon by someone not paying attention or getting swarmed, but that's about it. The higher the class the much higher amount of energy must be absorbed, but they have a higher chance of getting said energy.

Even a class S would die if it tried to attack the capital on the palm. The city on the heart will also be really tough to attack and the major trade city. Don't even try it, buddy. ;)
