yeah they can be used as expendable characters to show danger.
i think that's a better use for the characters,and it's a way to show the danger of the situation without killing our characters immediately.

Well, I don't think it's really fair to just kill their characters off without at least talking to them first, we don't know if they might show up again. True, they probably won't, but just as a courtesy.

Yeah, give them a PM then if they don't respond after a certain amount of time just go on without them.
