Looking for who would be interested in a fantasy NRP scaled around the Colonial Era/Edo Period. Note that is the general cultural advancement, and things like gunpowder weapons have not caught up to this level. There will be more information on the setting as more people show their interest.
The biggest thing here is the World, and where we as the players influence it through the nations we control and live within. In the beginning, there will only be a few Realms available, each varied to appeal to different people, and able to hold multiple nations to a degree without too much overlap. These Realms will be where our story takes place, and much of it will be very open to player development in regards to how their home nation's lands are arrayed. As this is a fantasy universe, there will be elements of magic and myth, with many creatures roaming about the landscape that will be causing just as much havoc as the opposing nations.
Tech level is to be universally around the medieval/renaissance eras, with some leeway allowed for certain factions if their tech is seen as not too disruptive, or RGMs/GMs allow it. Moving away from WAts will be the concept of Elder Races, in that while there will be a difference between an Elder Race and a standard nation, this line will not be so clear as the differences between Precursor Nations and standard nations from WAts. As a general rule, Elder Races will be more proficient and learned in the ways of magic, and some may have access to magical artifacts that standard nations would not have, but by and large, if a standard nation was to war with an Elder Race, the Elder Race does not have a clear and obvious advantage as they would in WAtS.
Moving away from the way other NRPs set up control of regions will also be the Influence System, a system that I'm developing that will determine what kind of influence an individual nation/character has over a Realm, and just how much. Certain types of influence lead to certain types of control, allowing for a nation to have control over an area through means other than military, something that wouldn't happen otherwise.
Also, just as a footnote here, don't be discouraged if someone has "claimed" a race of beings in the RP, as there is the possibility of other nations being accepted comprised of that species. This is being done to allow greater flexibility in terms of cultivating ideas for nations, and in a fantasy setting is somewhat necessary due to the limited number of generic species.
