Maho Tsukiko
The Truthful Moon
Physically Appears Twenty-Four
Celestial Spirit
Female
Considering she's the physical embodiment of the Moon, Maho closely resembles the supernatural features of this magnificent element. Eyes of grey outlined with a thick ring of black. Underneath the night sky, especially when standing directly below the moon, her eyes radiate a brilliant glow. Extremely fair skin, although it doesn't appear a sickly shade of pale. She has locks of sliver hair, highlighted with a few single strands of black. Maho likes to wear a variety of flowers in her hair and sometimes adds in a few leaves or something else for decoration. Both of her ears are pierced, seven holes in each. Perhaps her most noticeable feature is the curved moon displayed in the center of her forehead. Maho usually wears dresses, but she isn't against wearing more casual clothing when in the human world. However, she hasn't been summoned to the human world for nearly a century.

Maho, as to be expected from such an ancient spirit (she's only a few years younger than the Spirit King), is rather traditional in her beliefs and doesn't adjust easily to new situations. She's extremely polite, speaks with excellent articulation and presents herself with the grace and pose of a Goddess. Maho doesn't frequently display her negative personality traits, but they do exist. For example, when forced into a state of pure anger...she's quite lethal and has a reputation for commanding the seas (something that deeply upsets Aquarius). These occasions are rare, though. Maho is loyal, to a fault. She won't hesitate to protect those that are precious in her heart. Even if this requires her tremendous pain.
When Leo, the Leader of the Zodiac Spirits, was banished from the Spirit World...Maho immediately became consumed with depression. For the first year of his banishment, the human world was forced to endure devastating storms and radical shifts in the Moon's behavior. All a result of Maho's distraught state. Eventually, Maho was able to focus on her duties in the Spirit World and realized the trouble she was causing the humans.
As a Spirit, Maho is capable of Magic and can sustain herself for up to a week in the human world before returning to the Spirit World. She isn't the strongest Spirit, especially considering she isn't a member of the Zodiac, but she has impressive strength. Maho's abilities usually involve the skies, stars, weather and ocean. When summoned during the daylight, Maho is quite weak in battle. However, when summoned during a Full Moon, Maho becomes incredibly powerful.
