So I thought of the good and the bad of Kingdom hearts, and I sorta want to do my own rp universe of it. There is of course the common cross over trope. Such as things like Disney involvement to something like Square Enix games such as Final Fantasy.

However... I want to move beyond that. I don't really want to include much of Disney, I'll include some things from Square of course. Maybe a bit of Shin Megami Tensei. (Or SMT as some know it as.) To things like other worlds that participants can suggest. However, I'm not going to list too many ideas yet just do to the fact is "It's Kingdom Hearts."

And I'm sure those who are interested are going to be like. "Can we use Keyblades?"
My answer will be "no." It might have been effective as a protagonist weapon, but not here. The thing is just a giant piece of metal that contradicts it's own usefulness. So don't give me the whole. "But in KH II you use it to cut through a building."

Going to say "no" still. Just... It isn't needed compared to the variety I will offer with the official launch of the rp. It just won't be needed.

I'm semi-interested. kinda wanna hear more as to what exactly our characters will have to work towards. I'm into putting as little disney stuff as possible into the rp because I personally believe the games would have been more widely recieved if disney had nothing to do with it(That's not to say I hate disney, but I feel as though the games would have sold better without it.)

That was what ruined part of it for me. Like, the only Disney I liked about it was Beauty and the Beast, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Tron.

As for what I may include... Depends on what is passed to me. Some ideas were Nintendo like settings such as Metroid. Others were like Xenogears, (but I rather avoid that due to controversy.}

Eorzea will definably be present as well as original things.

Keyblades are not used; Social Links will be a thing to a degree.

So yeah. Rather then use the "Key to your heart metaphor" with a key like thing, you're actions will determine how much light and dark is in you.
Of course, the actions also can pass as negative or positive based on another's perception. In short, can seem evil to another, but still count as a light action.

So yes, I hope I answered the questions that go with that.

The Keyblade does not contradict it's own purpose. It's a key that is also a blade, not a giant key, even if the design was based off of a key. But the Keyblades would be useless here if you do not intend to use the Heartless as enemies.

Although I have no intention of joining this, the concept is interesting and I will be rooting for this to succeed. Good Luck and happy roleplaying.

I'm sort of a fan of Kingdom Hearts, hence the somewhat part. I'm actually interested in how Social Links play into things, especially since one of the key phrases to Kingdom Hearts is "My friends are my power", so I may stick around.
