There's a reason I was proposing having Charlotte go around trying to find someone with a spare deck in order to pass the time.

Sounds like a plan. I doubt a tournament this big, or any tournament for that matter, would just do one round and only one round at a time.

I dunno, seems to fit perfectly. How can you showcase each duel with the attention it deserves otherwise?

It could go both ways you know :/. It'd make just as much sense to me if it's the final rounds that get the most attention and showcasing, while these initial rounds do not.

Or everyone could work on their collab now so that when Anima calls their names they don't have to rush to put together a collab as fast as they can then.

Since I don't even know what you're trrying to say by 'collab', and my opponent is the GM... uh, no.

Thus becoming the world's worst tournament! It's fifteen card games. Scheduling over half of them to be done at once would cut out most of it.

You do realize I'm just making a suggestion to try and give people something to do and prevent this RP from being a boring ordeal, right? No need to be so contrarian to everything I do. As for the collab, he means the titanpad program where multiple people work on one huge post detailing their entire duel.

A roleplay consisting of eight huge posts ignoring the other seven, because they've all been scheduled to go at once, sounds immensely more boring.

Collab = collaboration post

Doing an entire duel here would take up pages and pages, and doing it through something like PM or on titanpad lets both people interact in putting together one coherent post covering all their actions and reactions smoothly. But writing a long and complicated collab (like a yugioh duel) takes a while, so if people got together and started working with their opponent now, when the time came around for them to duel in the IC, they would already have most of their work done. Get what I'm saying?

And you're so fired up about this why? It was just a suggestion, other people can decide whether they like it or not and then suggest something else like IV did. You though, seem to be getting rather pretentious about this for God knows what reason. I honestly don't feel like arguing right now, the Archfiend card deal with you was enough.

Congratulations, the RP now consists of eight posts that aren't worth reading.

Would you rather me and Varionus post our duel play-by-play, stopping at every possible action that the other could chain off of?

Edit: Oh, and Krein, the IVI makes an M, as in Master Jay (the name of my original original character).

@Raineh Daze: Well would you prefer a series of posts that go into great detail of setting two cards down and summoning one monster, and then another one going into great detail about activating a trap card in response? That seems immensely more boring than what IV or I have suggested, and takes up a lot of unneeded space too.

Than one enormous post? Yes, yes I would. Or at least just work on one turn at a time, and not the entire thing.

It's a roleplay. Space isn't an issue. Immense detail isn't needed for every post.

And other people actually get to, you know, react to the ongoing duel.

For the casual section I think one solid paragraph is the requirement. I don't think you can make one of those, and an interesting one at that, if all you do in one turn is set a card down on the field. You're right that space isn't an issue, but if it's just space taken up by three sentences detailing activating some cards in response, it's just clutter to me.
Even if people get to react to the ongoing duel, what are they going to say? "Oh no spirit partner! That guy is really tough! I sure hope the other guy can find a way out, and that we can last against whoever wins! Looks like we have a lot of work to do!"

I don't have a problem with doing it turn-by-turn. If Varionus says it's okay and no one else objects, we can do that. It'll still be a lot of very small posts, but I guess later in the duel it would work for reaction fodder.
