However, while Madison turned her back to call the police and inform them of the situation, the injured man managed to stab Addison in the right lung. She collapsed to the ground, bleeding internally and died in her sister's arms. The man never did face justice for his crime. After the death of her twin, Madison suffered psychological distress and started to self medicate herself. She started a dangerous and destructive cycle of taking over the counter medications with large quantities of alcohol to try and erase the horrible memories of her sister's death from her mind. Madison eventually was arrested for getting into street fights and spent three months in jail. During this time, Madison decided to straighten out her life and left the country to begin anew.
Once in America, Madison changed her name and enrolled in Beauty School. Now known as Maxine, simply Max to her friends, she studied diligently and earned her certificate and license in under a year. Within months she landed a career as a professional make-up artist with a focus in special effects. Her first job was working on the Iron Man franchise. That's how she was introduced to Robert, someone whom has had his own troubles with drugs and alcohol. He has helped keep Maxine on the sober path and she considers him an inspiration. She completely adores his youngest son, Exton and has a fairly good relationship with his elder son, Indio.
Maxine has been working with Robert since 2008 and enjoys being his makeup artist. She still drinks, but keeps it under control and only uses all natural medications now.
