To each their own, I guess. Do yourself a favor and laugh every now and then. Please.

I wonder if you realize how rude it is to legitimately make fun of someone that actually HAS MPD. Really. Can you not? Thanks.
Hmm, let's see what we have here.
First, a post of the sort a person aged 12 or thereabouts (physically
or mentally) would make in order to attempt to be humorous. You've got a combination of the supposed multiple personalities, the asterisk actions, and then the joking comment about how you should be medicated. I rate that as at least a 7/10 on the stupid tryhard humor scale.
Then you go on to tell Smiral that it's a matter of taste, and you implied heavily that it was a joke by way of telling her she should try laughing. Hmmm, interesting. At this point you're not in damage control mode, you're just annoyed that someone has called you on your juvenile humor.
And then we get to this third post. Full defensive mode engaged, it seems. Now people are being rude for calling you out, where just one post prior you blew it off as a matter of taste in humor. You use two words (literally and actually) to enforce the supposed reality of your statement, which anyone reading critically will pick up as you actively trying to make people believe it's real, which is shady at best. Then you refer to the condition as MPD. Very interesting. If you'd ever actually spoken to someone with this condition, you'd know they very much prefer to use the modern term DID, meaning Dissociative Identity Disorder, due to the horrid negative stigma that has been placed on the term Multiple Personality Disorder, as well as the fact that reputable psychologists have not referred to the condition as MPD since the mid-90s. Furthermore, different personalities in those with DID do not have these kinds of cohesive dialogues as you've presented in that first post, which is actually how one would expect a layman who doesn't know much about the disorder would think it works.
Finally, the most telling point to make here is that you are a fool for saying they are rude for making fun of someone with DID (to use the real terminology). First off, they were not making fun of a person with a disorder, they were making fun of a post that pretended toward the disorder; if you actually do have it, which I doubt, you should know that that is not at all how it works in reality and was at best a parody, at worst a blatant misunderstanding of how it works. Second, you were the one who chose to make that nonsense post in the first place, and you seemed to acknowledge it as a matter of humor with your second post about it, so you see to have already previously known they were mocking your attempt at humor rather than you as a person or any person who actually has DID. Third and finally, even if you do have DID, you are not immune to criticism. You are not a special snowflake who gets a free pass through life just because you have a mental illness. You did something stupid that was a conscious and rational choice of your own free will (the cohesive narrative presented by the post means almost certainly that it was done by one single personality, you see, so you can't blame your supposed disorder), thus you can be criticized for it without anyone breaking any rules of political correctness. This is how reality works, and I suggest you get used to it.
In closing, I have one last thing to say. If you're going to get so butthurt about things like this, I suggest you leave Spam and head to the more friendly areas of the forum. You're probably not going to have a good time if this minor fucking around gets you so upset.
