In the year of 1456 on the planet of Karhide everything was normal, that is every nation was ether fighting each other or in some sort of internal political struggle for that is as it has always been for the people of Karhide and it always will be. Nothing more. Nothing less.

That is until the Sky men came. They came on the first day of the spring where two twin comets could be seen int he sky, wrapped around each other like their fates were intertwined. The sky men came out of a giant bird that glinted in the light just as a sword would. Some ran in fear of demons. Others tought it was a god bringing them salvation. They are both wrong. Little did the people of the nation know however the same thing was happening al over Karhide as the sky men seemed to be scouting the lands with their metal bird. It would seem that almost each nation was contacted by the sky men, but not all nations were.

You live in this time. And you must lead your people to their fate.

Life started like any day in Payshtha The changeover of the guard the farmers and hunter's started the days jobs the traders made their way to the trading hubs, Nothing happened out the ordinary.
As it was with anyday the recruits went on a run through the Valley while getting chased by the trainers. the sound of metal on metal echoed through the valley just as it did everyday of the year it was the second month of the new year and it had been a month since the councell of Payshtha took their seats. This year it was headed by a general by the name of Bjomolf The bearwolf. it was said he was as big and as strong as a bear but as agile and cunning as a wolf. His track record of not letting a single invader enter the valley was renowned. but he was a military man at heart no politician, but with the rest of the councell of 25 other men and women he was confident this year would run smoothly.

The Valley though in the North was protected from the harsh winds that swept the mountains and ice fields above, so their growing season always started in the second month with a festival known as the great seed, 12 of them was planted to represent the 12 families that came together and to produce the ale for the New year celebrations.

Everything was going well and he was expecting an emissary from Qutemara nation, they had long been at truce but like all truces it was fragile prone to damage it could be twisted and warped. and unlike the great difficulty it took to reach it, it could take two words to destroy it. Bjomolf would not let this happen.

A day for Qutemaras started like always. Every men woke up at dawn and started their day with daily rituals and prayers. After that they went to work, most of them were miners or fishermen. Like always huge cargo ships, that were filled with fish or iron, were sent off the coast beyond the horizon. In the middle of bamboo forest there was nothing else to do, only children found it fun to run in the bamboo forest.

But this day was different for the despot Gengyo, today was a big day that will change the course of history. He sent a emissary to Payshtha with a letter -
Dear Bjomol, I have always honored our truce since we signed it. Maybe now is the time when we forget our dissension and start to assist each other. I can offer Your people unlimited amount of food all year round and You can supply my people with hides and meat. We can live together in harmony, our people deserve it dear Bjomol. As a gift I have personally sent You Qutemaras last invention - the sunglasses. With respect, Gengyo.

Gengyo really hoped that his ship with emissary will arrive on time...

It was a strange day when the sky people arrived. It was the same day Solus lost the city of Ade in a war that nearly killed the empire (I'm leaving this position to whoever wants it) 13 years ago when Kae Shogo was a mere boy and had no hope of going to the throne of Solus for he was not even related to the king and hardly related his brood. This left Kae Shogo in a different position than usual for while he was in theory related to his half siblings he was also the son of the defamed Shogo Reman which made him a unwanted pest in the high court. But eventually his relatives by royal blood began to die, disappear or pass over the throne which ended with him being one of the few choices the line of succession had left.

Kae Shogo was in his office study when his Minister of Disclosed matters informed him of a Metal Bird on a hill. At first he dismissed this a folly for a tought of a metal bird was lunacy, but his Minister persisted claiming he saw the beast with his own eyes. To (hopefully) end the matter he had sent two scouts to investigate this "metal bird", so far they have not returned.

There was a loud Knock at Bjomolf's Office door "Enter" his growling voice bellowed It was the Emissary from the Qutemaras, two days late but he expected this the sea's have been rough these past few days and there was a terrible storm As he read the Letter he smiled he set to work immediately and called together the council where he read out the Letter for the most part everyone was over the moon that the Outemaras wished to extend the truce and work together, for the past decade there had been war between the two nations a war that took many lives on both sides and it thanks to the willingness of both sides a truce was made though tensions remained high. There was however some people on the council that was displeased with this they either had fort against them or lost family who did, over the next few days they debated over this topic untill it was agreed that it was for the best to Honor the truce and make way for the future,

Bjomolf dispatched a small group of his people to leave for Qutemara to discuss the trading between these now allied nations

there had been however some talk from traders as big metal birds have been seen that flew the skies at night.. Bjomolf was confused as where his people so he called together all the spiritual leaders together to spread light upon this matter
