Apologies all, went and stayed black for longer than what was anticipated. I feel partly responsible for what you're feeling, Dervs. Sincerely and super sorry this has worn you down. Holding tight to a hobby until you've squeezed all joy from it does not bode well for the soul. I'm sad to see you take leave, but I'm gladdened by your continued guidance and your choice to take time for yourself to reset and repair.

Welcome back, Sunny D! We've all been guilty of the same at one point or another, and some more than others (*ashamedly shrinks into private corner of purgatory*). Happy you're back in action.

Wow, we have a new guy! Greetings to you, Shonny-boy. Can't remember the last time we took on a new player so that makes you kind of a rarity, and therefore this review process is kind of a big deal. Dervs is on point with his critique. Those who were new to this chapter had to explain how our folks handled the Auroras, and given the timing of your entrance, you'd need not only that but a recount between then and now to properly sync up our timelines. Your C.S has made a mighty fine impression, regardless. Can't wait 'til you're finally one of us so we can officially welcome you with open arms and ritualistic pluming.

No i haven't heard from her since well, the last time she posted. She actually hasn't been on psn for almost a month now, so I haven't been able to contact her.So long as someone can do the organize riot/initiate riot post, i could jump in at any time.

Holy sheet, a whole month?! Doing lots of Let's Play with Catchup.

Coordination needs to spread between the group so we don't run the risk of getting singled out. I can it being spearheaded by one person - NPC or PC (dibs on not being that PC) - so long as we all do our part to feed into the confusion. But what I propose is that we each come up with a distraction, work out ways to orchestrate them at the same time or in sequence, and form a taskforce for each to power it through. The result of combining various tasks would be the chaos needed to attract a large response force. For example, I'm about to introduce a group of locals whose 'talents' will come in handy. Talk to the locals, learn about their way of life and how the Occupation has made an impact on it. Find out why they're comfortable with the Occupation and this new peace, or why they hate the usurpers and crave freedom. Like if Blade befriends some brutes from an underground fighting ring, then either spurs on their collective bad tempers or calls on their muscle during the riot, or Sion (FTR I pronounce it as "Kah-rah-sai-on") and Friends get mixed up with a secretive group of mages and fling bolts from the rooftops (GOTTAH RUN FAST). Not saying you guys should go do that, we can definitely partner up on the same task or figure something else out. We can also pick apart the situation in lead up to the riot, highlight the political and social problems. Fan the embers, in other words. Examples of this can be good ol' gossip and rumour, an increase in crime rates (fun) to draw attention to the City Guard's bias and/or pisspoor response times, propaganda (news articles exposing corrupt guardsmen, posters promoting a "Free Hammerfell"), etc. Gives us a bit of autonomy from a RPing viewpoint while retaining the ideals of teamwork.

Why the autonomy? Because people like me like to go invisible woman sometimes. Unless you're a man... Invisible man... shutting up.

Hmmm... yeah, i guess, so long as we had the initiation from either npc or pc, we'd be fine. I mean, we may be ruining a few people's lives but... who cares anyway >_>

Well Zainat is heading to a Dunmer tavern to rabble rouse, since Dunmer are, you know, notoriously easy to rabble rouse (and their women are the defanition of loose women in The Elder Scrolls, Zainat wants some naughty tiem with someone who, ya know, has pointy ears.

^Lmaooo and praise Sanguine he shall.

@Cairo - Yeah it bothered me, too, knowing how adverse the fallout will be. Godzilla mode will incur great amounts of collateral damage and short-term suffering, but it will (theoretically) ensure a long term gain. What's Sion up to, currently? Is he in a position to view the bandits Rtron has set up?

Yes ma'am!! Sion is stationed for combat! (A.k.a. he will be followed, but I didn't know whether to use the following thing yet or till later when something big happens.). I was gonna have him wait till he notices someone he knows in the riot to give them a bit of "help", but otherwise now, he's just walking around the city.

Edit: WHO REMEMBERS THIS

Dervish had an idea that I think is a good one. Instead of trying to put together long posts that require equally long responses, let's try to keep them to just a few paragraphs.
I dunno about you guys, but I belt out my posts in one go, and It can be hard to find time (and willpower) to do that for a 5+ paragraph post.

Yes, that has probably been the reason posts have slowed to a standstill.

Alrighty! Shon review time!(Insert fanfare trumpet)I actually quite like this submission, and it's clear care and craft went into it, so so far so good! I do rather like that despite the troubles of his youth, he found a pretty normal and happy life in Falkreath, which I think helps establish him as a pretty well adjusted individual. The Dark Brotherhood angle was interesting, although I do have a couple things I wouldn't mind having clarified. Shamoun has an understandable interest in finding out who the Brotherhood is is quite fine and rather compelling, but why would they seek him out and offer him the ultimatum? What had he stumbled across that would make him known to them and considered a threat? He was obviously rather discrete about what happened that night they killed the carriage driver, and I don't think they'd run the risk of being discovered by someone inquiring about a poison's alchemy reagents. If you could kind of go into more of the "why" they decided to confront him, that would be great. If mean, even if it's something like he interfered with a contract unintentionally, that would be fine, or like in Skyrim, took it upon himself. You also kind of glazed over his involvement with the Dark Brotherhood, which is unfortunate given how important it is to his history. What kinds of jobs did he take, what was his relationship with the other guild members? Notable successes and failures? It would be good to know exactly what he did with them and how it came to shape him so much. I mean, the build up from him trying to find them was a lot more detailed than what he actually did for them. Also, who sent him the letter and how did they get it off in time? The Dark Brotherhood sanctuary was raided and destroyed in a sudden raid by the Praetorians. Would it not make more sense for rumour to have reached him? He couldn't have returned to the sanctuary since it was occupied afterwards by the Praetorians. I quite like that you elaborated more on the partnership Skyrim and Hammerfell entered into after the Siege of Storms, which I'm surprised you didn't mention. How was Shamoun effected by the Auroras? Was he put under its thrall and discovering a loyalty of sorts to the Emperor? Did he notice the disappearances of people in the communities he lived in during that time period? How did he feel when the spell was broken? It was a big world changing event that lead to the Empire succeeding control of Skyrim to Rogvir the Ironheart, which would have changed the politics in Skyrim quite a bit. And most importantly now is how the dwemer invasion has effected Shamoun? Keep in mind Hammerfell is completely occupied and its armies were mostly crushed with an insurgency propping up resistance against the occupiers, and most of the surviving noble families are in hiding or swearing fealty to the occupiers. If I read that last paragraph right, he's back in Skyrim again, which is where the game will end up eventually, but not for some time. He should be in Hammerfell at this point, and what's going on in Skyrim right now is kind of being kept hush hush until the group arrives. If you could clear all that up, I'd appreciate it!

Took a few days of touch and go editing, but I hope I clarified the gaps. In all honesty, the sheer hulk of in-game and RP lore must have staggered me when referencing notable events. Apologies for that, I'm not used to making such basic slips.

Hope this is better. Let me know if you require any further edits!

Shon, that totally exceeded my expectations and was a fantastic read! I love the character and am more than happy to offer you a place in our motley band of goofballs! I'll let Soul add any additional comments or suggestions, but I think it's safe to say you can begin work on a post. If you need help or ideas, ask away!

Ditto on the collab thing, I vouched for autonomy. Sluggishly moving along on my own post, to be honest it isn't all that long but the fact that it exists is enough to make me happy.

Also, I feel I should apologise if any of my ideas expressed about this riot biz have made things seem complicated when the situation really isn't. Hardcore match ECW-style with some of the plotting from mid-90's WWF and a touch of WCW mayhem.

And Welcome the ES:VoD Shon! That's one more for the fanfic', yay!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Now I just need to read the 40...41 entry history... Oh lord... g. I'll absorb as much as I can and get to work on an introduction. I'll admit, I don't normally go for RPs directly built from existing creations, but this was too good to pass up. Can't wait to be involved!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FALLOUT!!
*hugs you so hard it's inappropriate*

Thanking Sheogorath for letting you loose, to preside over each and every weeaboo, wabbajack and waffle iron with a benevolent fist. Go nuts today, kid! There are only so many get-out-of-jail-free cards in the world, most of them being found and deemed legal tender on such occassions as this, your blessed day of liberation from your cervical bonds. Yelling "IT'S MA BURFDAY" from a hijacked homemade army tank will be accepted as a pledge of insanity and all will be peaches.

And happy birthday, Fallout! If it's belated, I'm sorry. I've been a tad busy with things, as of late, but know that even if it is late, it is also sincere.
