Just to notify you guys, mattmanganon and I haven't even begun to work on our collab, the reasons for this being that I haven't even seen him around, and I've been working on a research project for school. Hopefully we'll be able to start our duel tomorrow though.

Well, you'll probably want to familiarise yourself with Synchros, Xyz and the new Pendulum mechanics, but extensive experience shouldn't be necessary.

Don't forget the all-important rule changes that came with Pendulum:
- First turn player can't draw on their first turn
- Both players can have a field spell at the same time <---- this one I like

First one is annoying, I guess.

Second, however, is glorious: no longer can field spells be countered by playing field spells! Hurrah!

First one is actually amazing from a meta game standpoint when it is your opponent going first, and they plan on setting up on you.

Cause setting up in this game is a huge pain to deal with. More so when Heavy is banned. Set 5 and Laggia should never be a thing ever again.

Side note, I'm working on my introduction post right now. Hopefully I can beat Roxas to the punch before they make their next post.

Well current rules for TCG and OCG are different at this time, but I'm assuming you mean current is for TCG, which means first player still draws? (Coming to this assumption because more assumptions that we're using the TCG Banlist)

I meant...fuckit, let's go with current TCG because there's times when I really miss that first draw.

Well, I can wait. I'd waited a whole day earlier in case someone wanted to comment, after all.

Anyways, I'm not entirely sure if the OCG has implemented the new rules yet, but the TCG is definitely still using the six cards starting hand and single field rules.

That's fine. TCG rules, yet banlist not discriminating between TCG and OCG. The deck MisterZombie would have used had three copies of Mezuki, and I'm pretty sure he's also OCG.
