Sometimes, Lars fought for money. Sometimes, he fought for the pure satisfaction of breaking some heads. This time, it was the latter. He would walk around, picking some humans that looked too smug, too confident, and start actively trying to piss them off. No matter if his taunting worked or not, he always made sure it ended in a fight. He didn't care if it was one way or not. Often times, this form of stress relief would take care of a hundred humans. It wasn't much, but he couldn't get too many before some superiors started to take notice. He didn't really understand why humans found a problem with it. As far as he was concerned, he was doing them a favor! Taking out the so called degenerates of society, the homeless and the addicts and the criminals.
Jadran wandered around the outskirts of one of the minuscule strongholds his Kingdom held, a small town in the middle of nowhere. Mostly, he was checking up on things - making sure no demons were sneaking in. To be sure he wouldn't be mistaken for a human, the angel was in his pure form. Of course if a human found their way out to here, they would at the best be blinded. And while that was a shame, Jadran honestly had more important things to worry about than one out of seven billion humans. His mind went to the battles - Although there was a definite front line, they were essentially in the enemy's territory. And while a power such as himself was tougher than the average demon, he could never be too safe. He glanced down at his flaming sword, tapping the drought-ridden earth with it.

Chris awoke suddenly, a cold sweat covering his body. He rose forward to sitting quickly and groaned as he put his face right into the midway sun that was streaming through the window; he let himself fall back onto the bed. This was the third day this week that he’d had a nightmare like this, where he was in battle, tragedies of war happening around him, people he knew dying, and nothing that he could do, but hopefully fend for himself and the person beside of him. He swore he was speaking French in this one, and the guns were of an old kind that he hadn’t seen before. What happened in the other two escaped him, but he remembered waking up the same way. This constant headache is starting to wear on him too, but at least he had the day off. He came out of bed and changed into dry clothes, fixed his hair some, put on shoes, and went out the door to run in warm sunlight to maybe help his head. He enjoyed this town, not too far from the city, and only a few hours’ drive from the desert.

As much as he loved the town, Jadran had to admit that it wasn't always the most convenient place. Demons tended to love the heat of deserts, which made sure his job was never done. Luckily, the town was too small for Hell to really try and claim back, so he never had to deal with full on battles. Whenever he saw the abominations, he got personally offended. After all, he personally helped liberate the town, and he would be damned if they were going to take it back. Up ahead, there was a group of them - Low tier, barely worth his time. He wasn't even sure if they had sentience, or if they were just mindless slaves for the higher ups. He would even feel a bit bad about killing them, and thought about just sending them back to hell in some binds. But that would require getting deeper into their territory, which he didn't feel safe doing. He killed them well before they had a chance to strike back, and the action sent a pillar of light up into the sky and a small wave on energy to be released, only managing to kick up some dust. It must have been a common sight by now, especially in areas like this.

Fynn kept his wings folded and an hood on his head when he traveled through demon territory. He still couldn't believe that the angels had lost this battle...hopefull the angels will strike and save the human race." I bet my brother is around somewhere...that lazy bastard. " he said in a cold voice. He saw some humans hiding in allies and bundled on the ground. Such an ugly sight ..he couldn't stand to see them all like this
