after watching Professor Weasley introduced herself, Isaak was now curious to know what spell she would show them for their first class. he hoped that it would be a good one. when he saw her use the immobilizing charm, he was very interested in getting to practice the spell. he watched as their teacher made the cages with the small insects fly to them. one landed on his desk and another landed next to Verlin. Mrs Weaslely then told them to try out the spell, and Isaak was glad to be using his wand to learn a new spell.

he took out one of the insects and it began to dart around at great speeds. he pointed his wand at fast moving creature and said firmly, "Immobulus!"

the insect almost instantly froze in the air and began to very slowly float in mid flight. Isaak was very proud of himself. and he felt so happy to be back at Hogwarts and practicing his favorite type of magic. each year meant that he would be one step closer to his goal of becoming very famous for his great skill in charms, just like Merlin. he turned his head to look at Verlin and hoped that she was doing well. if she wasn't then he would try to give her assistance since she was his friend, and he also wanted her to grow to like Charms if she could succeed at it.

Willow moved out of the way quickly as the man she saw earlier in the Great Hall walked into the classroom. She kept her head down, not wanting to draw attention to herself. Willow quickly looked around the room for any empty seats relatively away from most of the students. Sadly, there weren't anymore empty spots towards the back, a few seats were available in the front. However, that was considered Ravenclaw territory...

As Professor Binns slowly drifted into the class through the classroom, Willow panicked and quickly took a random seat. The Ravenclaws gave her a few dirty looks, but otherwise didn't say anything as the ghost began to start his lecture. Willow obediently took out her textbook and notebook, studiously taking down important notes. She was resolved in succeeding in her academics this year, or at least passing...

Soon, however, her mind began to drift as Professor Binns droned on and on. She began doodling in the margins of her notebook and peeked curiously at the man sitting towards the back of the classroom, taking his own notes in a notebook...

Verlin told Isaak that next time they would sit where he wanted. She decided to be compromising since he liked sitting up front. She tried the spell and it refused to work. She tried it again, but only the creatures legs froze. She gave a growl under her breath, and said "Told you I hated charms." She cursed under breath, and the only audible word was wish it was transfiguration. She took a few settling breaths, and then it reluctantly immobilized for her. She would hope no one would ever figure out she started school late. She had a feeling the teasing would be endless.

It was time for class and as soon as she saw the students going to their classes. Sam grabbed her books and headed to the class she noticed Ray saving sit spots for her and her friends as she smiled at him nodding saying thank you and sitting down on a chair as she placed the books infront of her. Sam turned seeing her friends as she smiled at them, it was boring but she needed to learn and everyone else as well. When it came to learn, Samantha was head into the lesson. Professor Binns walked in, the only ghost teacher. "Alright class, please take out Hogwarts, A History volume II and turn to chapter 16... Last year when we left off we just ended the Goblin Wars..." said the professor as Samantha nodded and grabbed her book and turned the pages right into Chapter 16.

She grabbed a small notebook to take notes just incase. She turned her head seeing Raymond getting a little bored, noticing that he saw her, Sam smiled at him and raised an eyebrow mouthing the words 'Get to work!' She mouthed to Ray and to his friends as well. They didnt want to miss a lessson! Even though how boring it would be like.

"Well, I guess we all can't be good at everything we try, it's too bad you don't like Charms, at least we will have Transfiguration tomorrow" Isaak said to Verlin with a sympathetic smile, he could tell quite clearly that she wasn't have much fun in this class which he thought was strange since he had always thought that Charms were among one of the most desired subjects at Hogwarts, he had yet to meet a student who really disliked the class. He hoped that he could cheer her up, especially since next class was a History of Magic and pretty much every student in Hogwarts thought of that class as being very boring.

"what kinds of transfiguration spells do think we will learn this year?" he asked, trying to talk about a subject that she liked. Isaak was also kind of curious to find what type of new spells they would be learning for the class since next to Charms, Transfiguration was favorite class. He was also glad that she was fine with sitting near the front of the class with him the next time they were at Charms.

Raymond looked over to Samantha, telling him to get back to work. He was going to until Roy slipped him the drawing of the goblin, he took a second to appreciate his work, then grinned at his final words. slowly taking out his wand he muttered a spell, and the picture peeled off the parchment, looking around, then cackling jumping up on the table and starting to dance around, hoping from table to table. The class erupted with laughter, while Professor Binns on the other hand, was rather not happy. After someone used a spell to destroy the dancing drawing, the class went back to its boring self, but not before Gryffindor and Ravenclaw lost five points each.

After first period the fifth years were on their way to Potions. Ray didn't mind it, Professor Voss was a quiet, strange, scary looking man. But he was a good teacher. Then it was off to lunch for everyone. The food was delicious as always, Raymond discussed the classes with his friends, then after lunch he walked with Samantha to Charms. Professor Weasley was easily the better teacher, but also very strict. She was a living legend. They refreshed their memory by going over some of the charms from last year. Raymond had a much easier time this year than the last. His wand was starting to agree with him. The last class was taught by Professor Mystérieux, Although most people got used to calling him Professor M. He was interesting, and most of the girls founds him rather dreamy as well.

As the school lessons came to an end, Raymond was glad to go back to the Gryffindor Common room after dinner, and relax. "Fifth years are going to have a load of homework..." Edgar said, opening a pack of chocolate frogs and looking at the cards. He was right. This year would be the hardest yet... Raymond was now leading the Gryffindors in dueling and Quidditch.. It'll be difficult, but he could do it.

He was rather nervous for the Dueling Club. Their first meeting was tonight, any year could join over the second. He wondered who would show up... He would start with the basic rules of dueling first, of course... Then he'll have to figure out tryouts for the Quidditch team... One step at a time, Ray. He said to himself.

Finch walked down the hall at a brisk pace... He had around an hour until the dueling club began and he absolutely could not miss that he thought with a chuckle.

Henri Awaits his first club meeting

Professor Mystérieux stood dressed as if ready for Duello save for the fact that his wand was sheathed.
His mind was alive with curse an counter curse each spell's peculiar gesture and phrasing being repeated over and over with great rapidity.
In the Duello Henri was known as L'éclairage Épouvantable or the Terrible Lighting because of the speed of his spell casting. Henri knew that he'd be just as average in speed as any other wizard if practiced as they did.
But Henri had trained under the Masters of Le Ciel Bleu who believed that repetition and lots of it engraved the Curses an Jinx used in Duello on the mind. Performing L'esprit de la danse (Dancing Mind) made spell casting as easy as a cat uses his claws and as quick.
If anyone had walked into the Dueling room they would have simply seen Henri standing like a statue focused on the opposite side of the room
