Saints High School is everything you think of when you think about a private school. A good number of the students are rich, snobby, stuck-up, and just plain mean. There is a minority, however, who are “different.” Treated by the rest of the school as outcasts, they stick together in a group or separate themselves from everyone else. When a new student comes to town, everyone expects her to be one of the populars. She is beautiful, rich, and seems just like the typical private school student. About a week into the school year, however, Casey notices that there is a group of students being bullied or left out because of their differences from other students. Casey decides that someone should stand up for them, so she starts a group called “Drop the Drama” where the students she sees being bullied or left out can receive support from the kinder students in the school. Before long, Casey begins to realize that some of the students who have bullied have been damaged far worse than she thought. She wonders if she will be able to help them with everything that they need. When Casey ends up fighting for her life in the hospital, the school must make a choice. Will they follow Casey’s example, or will they continue to be unwilling to change the world?
