Just posting what I've done so far:
Appearance:
"Are you going to eat that dead bird over there?" -Rin Zeela-Tae
5' 9" (8' 10" including tail)
198 lbs
Name: Rin Zeela-Tae
Alias/Nick-name: Rin or Lizardman (Don't call him lizardman...)
Age: 23
Race: Reptillion
Gender: Male
Affinity: Healer/light
Titles/Occupations: Hunter/skinner by trade. Sometimes called a "Huntsman" by locals but has been known to find more than just wild game by special request.
Equipment: As of right now he carries very little thanks to his captors. Wearing a hemp loincloth that doubles as a fishing net, some ornate jewlery that is thoroughly tarnished some couple feet of flax rope and the damn metal collar around his neck that hinders his magic. Rin has no need to carry weapons aside from a staff that's basically a fallen tree branch that doubles as defense or a fishing rod. He hasn't met a foe that his claws and teeth couldn't tear apart or his heavy tail couldn't bash.
"Zeela-Tae is comfortable with his body, it is others who are uncomfortable when he fishes..." -Rin Zeela-Tae
Abilities/Skills:
Skilled outdoorsman- Rin spends 90% of his day (and night) hunting game, he knows the woods better than the spikes on his back. He can read markings of any kind created by nature or man (except magical) and can use natures resources to its fullest potential.
Tracker- An excellent tracker thanks to his innate heat vision and agile frame able to scale trees and rocks with ease, he uses every physical sense to track his prey unnoticed
Claws, teeth and tail- instead of most who prefer a sharp blade or stout arrow, Rin prefers his razor sharp teeth and durable claws. Often running and catching up to all but the fastest prey he finds a quick bite to the back of ones neck is much more reliable than an arrow in his mind. His tail is heavy and often used as a counterweight. The end is adorned with tiny dull spikes that are mostly cosmetic. (But the enemy doesn't know that)
Thermal vision- As do all Reptilions, Rin is able to see the heat given off of objects or people. Rin is well trained in its use and can pickup not only common heat sources but the minor temperature changes given off from old footprints and or dull heat signatures behind walls.
"Rin can... see... you... little one." -Rin Zeela-Tae
Resilient scales- Unlike the spongy flesh of humans or fuzzy coats adorned by most beastmen, Rins scales are as tough as iron in some spots yet still as flexible as leather in others. The scales on his back and tail are the hardest, while his belly and limbs are more leathery and flexible.
Magic:
Unfortunately his magic is unable to be used due to the damn unfashionable collar around his neck, but these are some of the spells that he knows and has used before:
Hist Skin- Just like how most lizards can grow back limbs, Rin can heal major wounds over time. (Assuming he does not bleed out or get decapitated) Rin can heal minor cuts and bruises in minutes, major gashes or loss of claws or fingers in hours and an arm, leg or tail in days. This takes much concentration and no other magic can be used while casting. The drain on his body is only moderate but constant for a long period of time. He cannot fight in this state let alone hardly walk at a regular pace.
Adrenaline Rush- not exactly biological, but more of a magic based "second wind" useful for squeezing out what little energy Rin has left to perform great acts of agility or strength. Exe jumping to a faraway ledge or sprinting with great speed, even dodging an arrow at close range.
Synthesia- Rins heightens all his senses (including thermal vision) and "mends" them all together to the point where he can SEE sound and HEAR smells. Hopefully helping him pick up something he would have missed otherwise. This is a very touchy spell since too much going to his senses (exe loud explosion or a flash of light) can severely disorient or hurt him.
Bio: wip
Other: Rin wears a metal collar in which his captors put on him. It hinders what little magic he has in which he uses mostly for his work and profession.
"This damn collar is a pain in the scales and unfashionable." -Rin Zeela-Tae
Note: The collar was not intentionally for him, he was mistaken for some notorious magic outlaw (*more on this in bio)
