I had a problem with Diablo 2, since it was too old for my comp. In full screen, it had these odd fucking colors throughout the entire screen, and it was just all around screwed.

Right click on the shortcut, go to Properties, Shortcut- Target- Add '-w' without the ' to the end.

What is does is gives you a smaller screen to play by. It cleared up Diablo for me. Might work for you. There might be a space between the .exe and the -w. If neither of those work, I tried.

I used to play that when I was little, and I had another barbie game in which you rescue escaped pets. I preferred the pets one.

I played Nancy Drew games more though, but wound up dying or getting stuck in a lot of them.

Yeah, you're probably going to want an emulator. I've used before, like, a wicked long time ago, but it did work ok from what I remember. Here's to try if that one doesn't work for you.

Not sure about the first, but getting a CD to run in DOSbox i never seen done, most of the time I have to run CD games normally given my computer is old(windows XP) it works Okay. There problems once in a while. Color and other graphical glitches, which is because the game was never built to run on that system, it has a hard time, and thus Causes these problems.

Normally I go by this type of rule, if it's a floppy Use DOSBOX, if it's a CD have fun spending over 2 hours trying to get the fucker to work on DOSBOX. (I am looking at you system shock CD version).

As I said it has to do with game unable to work right with the system, and just fucking up.

What you did here was shrink the revolution size of the window, which helped it, only if that work for all games.

Funny story about CnC game it's self has a unofficial patch to fix the graphic bug on newer systems.
