This ritual is simple yet dangerous for, indeed, you will have to walk to the Fabled Flame of Milene to burn your possession and, naked and shivering in the dawning light, will have to survive and make your pilgrimage to the Spring of Penitence to bathe your impure body and make it anew. Your body and identity will disappear then, and, while a pure soul, you will be reforged in the earth. Through this your will finally be taught the ways by the Hymn of Milene and become a true Novice of the Pure Ways.
Make no mistake, you, as you know yourself, will die, but in exchange you will be made stronger through your ordeal and through the blessing of the goddess Milene. Then, your tutelage and training will start. It will take year for your new body to stabilize, and even more for your pure mind to learn what it needs to, but you will never again be alone, and you will be free of the wicked magic that transforms men into beasts.
