BTW, IN, what is in the next octangular room. Is there anything hung on the walls that or any furniture, etc. ? Ooh, btw, Lalliman, feel free to take the ball and chain. All yours. If you want, I can direct your character to it.

Yup, i picked up the ball and chain and intend to use it! I also took the liberty of interacting with your character, just lemme know if you prefer i didn't. I figured Jeremy might be too afraid to dodge in time, since this is the first encounter.

We can just assume not all the post happened in the second the monster is swinging. Therefore, as the battle is going on the later parts of his post will be happening such as shooting the arrows.

The room is bare besides the torches up on the wall at arm's length.

If the explosion ends up backfiring then Audeleiss will use her magic to time delay the explosion to her control, if that's okay. A lot of her powers aren't working but she can probably effect the time in runes.

@IN, that's fine. Probably a good move. Also, if you wanted to use him as a grenade, most deaths aren't instantaneous. ;)

So that leaves Diēscogitō with the longest and most powerful ranged weapon, and Rick with the fast firing close range weapon.

And ppl still saying arrows for crossbows.

(also repeater crossbows are even weaker then light crossbows.)

Those things usually weigh at most 1 lb.

Probably are not any higher then 4'5 feet off ground roughly.

Edit: ah, and expect no apologies from the witch. In fact she will be smirking if you scold her for opening the door without warning. She does want out but she also wants to mess with you guys a bit and see what you are capable of in handling surprises.

I would say you can rip off some of the iron support structures, but that would take a lot of effort for not much pay off.
