Bullpup design means a smaller rifle with the same barrel length.

Also a rifle is a rifle no matter what look or place of origin it has.
I chose it because the rp Is set in the near future and the rifle looks kind of futuristic, yet is also used in the military.

That's quite a broad area, and when you think of all the things that the west has invented, things that wouldn't have ever been created without the west.
You would think you would feel a little differently
Now lets just talk military for instance.

British military inventions -
The tank
Bullpup configuration
Shrapnel shells
Harrier jet
Box lock side by side action (Double barrel shotguns)
Dreadnought Battleship
Safety Fuse
The sniper rifle - Whitworth Rifle
The self powered machine gun - Maxim Gun

Now lets look to the US-
The first machine gun - Gatling gun
The revolver
Self contained cartridges

Now this is just a small list, and it doesn't even count Europe or even all the other many inventions that have revolutionised the world such as electricity, agriculture, the microchip, fossil fuels.
Now you can not like western trends or the way the west handles law and oppression and control over its people or whatever you don't like about it.
But I don't see how anyone can decide to not like an invention just because it is made in a certain place?
That just seems silly to me. the invention can still be amazing.
The invention doesn't choose a side, its just a thing.

I think you are mistaken :p
We are having a friendly debate.
An argument is attempting to force your opinion onto another.
A debate is expressing your beliefs to each other for both participants to better understand each other.
And I must debate your point SaraiRayne, you say the debate isn't important and yet you could say that weapons are a very important matter, they change history after all. But weapons wasn't the main point I was discussing with Laggia what the main discussion I was bringing up was that they seem to not like anything western.

They haven't really said any reasoning why they don't like inventions created within the western hemisphere and so I am asking, politely, for them to express there opinion further.
