Officer Jenny looked to Arcanine and said, "Go search around the City. Smell Look for anything suspicious and report back." Arcanine nodded and gave a bark of acknoledgement, before it ran back into the city at a nlinding ,peed, whipping up a cloud of dirt. Jennny stood, undisturbes by cloud, and continued to speak on the mega phone, "As soon as we have finished checking the city, you will all be let inside, but Route 22 will be closed indefinitely."

The crowd of people immediately began to complain, with several trainers saying they were on their way to the Pokemon League, and someone else yelling about needing to see family.

Leaf crossed her arms and watched the grumbling crowd. "Whatever happened must have been pretty bad for the police to step in. But what do we do now, if we can't go and check it out?" She asked Robert.

Robert wasn't really sure how to answer, let alone respond too the question. If jenny is blocking all entry way too the League, there isn't much they can really do? "I don't know Leaf...we can't disobey what is said by Jenny. As well I don't want us to get into trouble, by the police this early in our journey." Robert said, with Pikachu hanging on his shoulder. Nodding it's head up and down, agreeing with the boy. "For now Leaf as well as, we are a bit more experience? Should check this place out at a later date." The boy said nudging his head, of wanting her to head on back to Viridian city.

Leaf crossed her arms, thinking. "I guess that makes sense. The police probably got it covered. She noticed Robert nudging his head in the direction of Viridian City, getting his meaning. She shook ber head no saying, "I'm not going back Robert, I'm headed off!" She said, excitement starting to creep into her voice. "I'm headed off on my journey today!"

Robert blinked his eyes when Leaf announced that she will be heading off on her journey today. Making Robert to just rest his hands, onto his sides and lightly shake his head. "Leaf I enjoy the enthusiasm but you do know?" He then smirk thumbing backwards at the city. "Viridian city also, takes you too Viridian forest and then Pewter city?" He said with a chuckle while shrugging his shoulders. "I think you would've known that." He chuckled and faced away from her. Heading on back to Viridian city, "Also did you not forget? We just fought a Primeape, our Pokemon needs to rest up." He announced while sweat dropping a bit. He was the one who caught the fully evolve Pokemon...so using it will be out of the question.

"Pikachu, pikaa" the electric mouse chanted with a shrug of his shoulder. Shaking his head left and right, of the girl forgetting that her Vulpix needs too rest up.

Leaf blushed a little, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment. "O-oh! Righr! I knew that!" She said quickly. "I guess I'm off then!" She added, turning to go. She stopped after a few steps and looked back at Robert. "What about you? What are you going to do?"

Robert walking on back to Viridian city, look up in thought of what kind of plans he might have? There isn't much he could think of, besides training his Pokemon. For the upcoming battle with Brock and such? "I will probably go too the Pokemon center first, to heal up. Then go to the forest and train up my pokemon, as well as train and catch some more pokemon for my team." He stated walking past Leaf.

"After all if I want to complete the pokedex. I have to make sure too look every nook and cranny of this world." He said with a soft chuckle, with Pikachu happily smiling and nodding his head in agreement as the two. Went and head on too the Pokemon center.

"Oh! You got a Pokedex?" She asked, glancing at him. She hadn't gotten one from Professor Oak. "Have you tried it yet? Oh! I have an idea! Use it on Vulpix!" She said, grabbing her Pokèmon's pokeball from her hip.

Robert blinked his eyes at how Leaf, asked him he gotten a pokedex? In which he looked up in thought, wondering if she hasn't gotten one yet? "Heh why not! Alright send out Vulpix and I will register her dex entry." The boy said with a smile. Pulling out the red encyclopedia device. From his pocket, and opening it up, already have Pikachu Primeape, Petilil and Dratini's dex entries. "Alright Leaf ready when you are."

Leaf threw Vulpix's pokeball down and, and in a flash of light, released Vulpix. Vulpix shook her hair, stretching out her front paws. Vulpix looked up at Leaf and Robert, tilting her head in confusion. "I'm gonna let Robert register you in his Pokedex, alright Vulpix?" She asked, kneeling to the Pokemon's level. Vulpix gave a nod, with a happy bark as an affirmative. Leaf looked back at Robert and gave a thumbs up. "Alright Robert, your good to go!"

Robert nodded and faces the Pokedex at the fire fox Pokemon with a smile. Having the information register and recorded onto the Pokedex "Vulpix the Fox Pokemon: When it is born, it has just one snow-white tail. The tail splits from its tip as it grows older." informed the Pokedex, as the boy pulls it back and into his pocket. Smiling down at the fox, and kneels down in front of her.

"Thanks Vulpix, it will definitely help me out on filling the dex." Robert said, petting Vulpix on her head and down her back. As he then scratched underneath her muzzle, and stood up when he got done. "Alright then, well I'm off towards the Pokemon center and too the forest. I hope everything goes well in your journey Leaf." The boy exclaimed as he turned around and runs too the Pokemon center.
