I was thinking about making the time-limit per phases 3 days. Granted, each phase would change depending on my own work schedule. And then when the time-limit is coming up, I would PM the person a day before. Two phases after no explanation, they would be kicked.

This satisfies me.

Granted, if it is a lot of people who are slacking, I would have to get more strict. =/But I want to be fair to everyone, too.

Understandable. Just can't keep up with schedules where its all "you must post every day by this time or WAAAAAGH!" xD

You need a much more strange and oddly precise number. Bring it down into minutes.

Well think about it for a second.

If it's 48 or 72 hours from the story post, then that means the deadline is going to be at the same time Squee finished the previous post. Meaning that in order for her to make a new post on the same day, she will keep having to do it later and later until eventually the time table becomes inconvenient and everyone is forced to wait longer (like an extra day) because of it.

And I know it's not guaranteed that Squee will be able to keep the schedule steady and make a post within that 6 hours or even that day, but it's smart to have that window of opportunity nonetheless.

It's ridiculous, overcomplicated, and seemingly irrelevant. But if I'm right... IF I'M RIGHT

I'm in the same boat. Never played a Rabbit Doubt game before. I suspect I get the gist of it, considering the title, and would love to join, but would need a bit of a crash-course.

You can find stuff online about how to play. Also you can take a look through mine which is currently going on to see how turns and such tend to work.

The easiest way to learn is to play it. It's really complicated to explain. Jorick did a great job of explaining it before the site crashed. If only we still had it. =/

The very basic gist is that each person is assigned a role with a certain ability. The players form a group (we will say a town). Terror strikes this down when one of them is killed unexpectedly. Using various clues in the story post, the town must figure out who is with them and against them. If the town kills the killer, they win. If the killer kills the majority of the town, they win. It goes about in phases.

The Night Phase is for those with special roles (Killer, Doctor, Detective, etc.), This is when they PM the GM what they plan to do.
The Day Phase is one for contemplation and lynching. All players will vote to lynch one person. That phase ends when there are enough votes to lynch someone.

I am awful bad at explaining things, but that is a very quick write-up of how it works. If you both have individual questions, I can help you out. Rabbit Doubt is a game of paranoia, alliances, and strategy.
