Anime, huh? Well, recently I've been watching a lot of mecha anime for research for my new RP project and I recently finished NGE again, but in terms of more recent stuff, I've been watching Akuma no Ridoru (meh) and Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin, which is great. It's animated by the same studio who did Oreimo so the animation is definitely good and the characters and humor are just great.
Been thinking of watching Mekakucity Actors because the style looks nice. Anyone think it's worth my time?

History/Bio: Mimi Kisaragi was born in Hokkaido,Japan.She was very young when she was trained to be a great samurai because the Kisaragi family are samurai for generations even females.So it's a family tradition to be a samurai for them.She was not allowed to socialized and go outside because of that and Mimi got nothing but train,train,and train.She is not just a samurai but she is also an athlete in her school that won 6 athletics(track and field) contest in a row.She was the greatest honor of her school and family.One day, a super typhoon strucked Hokkaido that killed thousands of people.Mimi lost everything because of the typhoon her family,friends,everything.Mimi didn't lose hope because her uncle which was living in New Harumi for 3 years adopted and raised her like she is her own daughter.

Personality: Kenichi is known as 'Mad Scientist' because he knows a lot about science. He excels in everything science related, but is one of the best student in physics, biology and chemistry in the country often applying them in reality. He is average in other classes. He literally can't remember a time he got lower than a B for something science related. He is very analytical if he concentrates, almost changing into a detective in reading body language or finding flaws. This is only when he actually tries to analyze however, normally he isn't that cautious.

Otherwise, Kenichi is a textbook example of a 'Comical Relief' character. He falls in love with every remotely attractive girl he sees, is a pervert and not scared to admit it and cracks so many jokes that people would think he's the only one talking. He lacks common sense in some areas, but hypocritically judges other people if they do so too in other areas.

He is a real nerd and geek. He knows everything about every Idol, game, anime or manga that he can get his hands on. He even taught himself how to hack and frequently does so with his friends for fun.

Origins: Japan

History/Bio: Kenichiwas bullied. Not 'harmless' bullying of everyone ignoring him. In fact, he had a lot of friends from all type of social groups, even popular ones. His bullying was the destructive bullying. They would literally physically assault him just inches of needing to go do the hospital, multiple times a week for two main reasons. One, he was a pacifist till his sixteenth, vowing to never hit someone even if provoked. Two, he was physically frail, he couldn't dish out much, he was bad at sports and an easy target. They used him as a let out.

The bullying got progressively worse and worse, until he got used to it, he didn't fight back, he just toke the beating and ran away when the opportunity would arise. The aggressiveness and violence caused his pacifism to be shifted into a average mindset. If violence is needed, then violence is needed. When the bullies attacked him on his own birthday, that's when he developed his trademark fighting style. They attacked him the same way they always did. Kenichi knew exactly how they moved in a fight, he had endured that for years now, and he toke advantage of that by punching someone full force on the windpipe. Almost choking him to dead until he recovered, scaring all the bullies away for a life time.

Combat Style:
He is highly enduring and has impressive speed because he had to endure the physical assaults of his bullies and run away when he can. He has low strength, mainly because he doesn't use strength based attacks much. His fighting style is a like a tactical tank, it endures enough blows to analyze the opponent, until he finds a weakness and gets used to the opponent's rhythm. If he does, he'll hit and run while setting up dynamic traps taking advantage of the information he gathered while fighting up close. He also is one of the most knowledgeable in physics and biology, knowing exactly where to hit and applying physics rules to help pack the punch his muscles aren't able to.

His weapons mostly consists of illegal Chinese firework and threads, hoping to upgrade it to Dynamite and sharp threads if he ever gets the money.

Besides Japanese he can speak Russian, Chinese and English due to the fact that they are one of the most spoken languages in the world. He is also good at hacking.

Ken, is it weird that the first thing I thought of when I saw your character's nickname (Mad Scientist) was Steins;Gate? :P

Quick question, are we summoning personas?

Not yet. In fact, none of us know what they are to begin with and the probably won't be called Persona's for that matter. I'll introduce it once we get into action.

I'm reading the manga to Blood Lad now but i'm curious about the anime after all the reading.

Uh I'm not sure as Rafale isn't here right now, since it's says it's not accepting I'd say no more are accepted...but we are technically missing a person whose on that list. Katakon to be precise, there's been no response and no post for...well a long time so you could ask Rafale if you could take her place as Kenichi took the last open spot. It'd be awkward if she popped up all of a sudden though so you're game mopsock.

I guess I'll just wait for a response from Rafale and see if something can be worked out.

Personality: Yuuhei's personality is influenced mostly by three people; those being his mother, father, and uncle. As a child, when his father had nearly no time to spend with Yuuhei, his mother had the greatest influence during this time. She taught him to be a calm and composed gentleman, which shows now as he is a tolerant and composed person. During his life in America, his father had more time to spend time with him and in contrast to his mother, his father taught him that the world is survival of the fittest and that whatever he decides on should benefit him in one way or another, turning him into a somewhat manipulative and merciless bastard. The contrast of personalities between his parents always made him question why they got married, but Yuuhei ended up with a bit of both his parents personalities anyway.

As for his uncle, although he had been indirectly responsible for Yuuhei's parents' death, Yuuhei holds no grudge towards his uncle and was influenced a little bit after being adopted by him. Yuuhei got a little bit of his uncle's uncaring nature, making Yuuhei apathetic towards a lot of things. And because of his uncle's supreme apathy and being generally annoying, his uncle is the only one to ever break both his patience and tolerance, which usually ends with both of them in a friendly fight.

Origins: Japanese Canadian

History/Bio: Yuuhei was born to a Japanese father and a Canadian mother in Ottawa, Canada. His mother was a stay-at-home mom and his father was a pretty successful businessman, which let Yuuhei live a somewhat luxurious lifestyle as a child, like going to an elite private school, where he learned both English and French, and also excelled greatly in athletics. Outside of school, he learned taekwando and savate at a local community centre.

When he was 9, Yuuhei's family had to move to Chicago, Illinois due to his father's job. There he went to another elite private school that had a bigger emphasis on athletics and joined a boxing club. With his past experience in savate and taekwando, Yuuhei quickly advanced over everyone and after three years, he was given a choice of going to state and national championships. He accepted the invitation and it resulted in him being the state champion and placed top 50 in the nationals. After another year of training and developing an unorthodox boxing style, Yuuhei got into the championship again, this time placing 3rd in the nationals. However, before his third time in the championships got around, Yuuhei's family had to move to Japan, once again because of his father's job, or changing of jobs.

After changing jobs, Yuuhei's father became the business manager of his uncle, Hana Hoshimine's, newly opened restaurant joint in New Harumi City. Being only 14, Yuuhei was enrolled in a junior high school that focused on athletics, and like in America, he joined another boxing club, quickly excelling as one of the best in the school. However, before he was able to join any tournaments, it turns out that before Yuuhei's uncle opened his restaurant, he was a former yakuza member who left with some 'disagreements' with other members, who then killed Yuuhei's parents after knowing they were related to his uncle. Feeling a bit responsible, Yuuhei's uncle told the truth to Yuuhei and adopted him. Two years later, his uncle enrolls him at Shirasagi High.

Combat Style: Yuuhei has a unique style which uses all three of the martial arts he's learned in his life. His style uses quick and precise attacks that target weak points. His movements chain together into one fluid motion, which allows Yuuhei to dish out multiple attacks in a short amount of time.

Yuuhei also has some experience with handguns thanks to his uncle. Of course, his experience amounts only to being able to aim and shoot at a slow moving target.

Extra Information:
- Yuuhei was taught English and French in the private school he went to in Canada, while he was taught Japanese by his father and uncle
- Yuuhei works part-time in his uncle's restaurant joint, "Star's Blossom", mostly as a waiter but sometimes fills in as a chef
