Hi there! I'm NIne! So I'm actually procrastinating and I'm posting this in the middle of my exams. But I guess I don't really care about exams. Oops, my bad.
SO just a little bit about me. I'm online a fair amount, a little sporadic for the next couple weeks because of exams, but I try. Uhm, requirements! Or what I look for in an RP partner. First off! Please have decent grammar and spelling. I don't really care if there's the odd typo here and there, I understand, especially because I post off of my phone sometimes and my phone just likes to screw with me. But please it must be understandable and readable. And absolutely no text talk, unless you're texting? Something like that, we'll work it out. Also! Another a pet peeve, is when people give me a giant wall of writing. Tomato. I don't require you to indent your paragraphs or anything. But please. For the love of cheese, just hit enter twice before you start a new paragraph. Its just easy on my poor eyes and it looks nicer. I usually have a minimum of two paragraphs per post, but will go anywhere up to and even above five. One liners are just a deal breaker for me. I do like for my partners to talk to me, communicate and so forth. I don't really like to be the main driving force behind a plot. I'm totally fine with gore and violence, but usually I ask for a fade to black during sexual escapades. Don't ask me why, I just do. And I play both genders equally so I don't mind doubling up at all. I may or may not ask you to send a writing sample. Just yeah. Oh, and I also post only in threads.
Sidenote. I usually play flawed characters. I like them that way. They may be physically strong, but flawed on the inside. It makes them interesting.
So ideas! (The stars indicate which character I'd like to play)
(The name is still a work in progress.)
You enter a giant conference room. Its shaped more like a lecture hall, one of those that you see at the universities. But you know better. This is no ordinary university. Its not really a university at all. You received notice from your commanding officer yesterday, in the shape of a small hololetter. A man's face appeared from the letter in the hologram. Despite the blue shades of the hologram, you could tell he was older, tired even. He had dark circles under his eyes and stubble growing. You could see the many stripes and badges hanging on his jacket. He was someone important, maybe more important than you'll ever be, but you couldn't quite recall his name. Scratch tired, he looked exhausted. He gave instructions, his voice was deep, authoritative. You didn't dare question that voice, that man. He spoke like a haunted man. But he told you where to be and when, so you did as you were told. You might've questioned superiors in the past about their secrecy and decisions, but you decided not to now. So you packed your things and jumped on the first plane out to Switzerland.
The conference room is filled with people of all sorts. Many of them have various military uniforms on, their badges glinting in the bright lights of the room. Others have lab coats, on or simple suits with a COM around their ear. Then you notice that each of them have a little flag stuck to their clothes, over their heart, even the military ones and you hastily look down at the package that you were given when you first entered the room. It has your name printed in big black letters on the front. You open it. And inside you find a little metal flag, like everybody else has, and yours is of your own home country. So you quickly attach it to your own clothes, over your heart. There's a group of important looking people at the bottom and one of them taps the microphone at the podium a few times. All the chatter falls silent. "Please, find a seat, we're about to begin," she says. She's in a sharp business suit, her glare stern behind her glasses. You scramble into the nearest seat as others around you do the same. You find yourself next to one of the military guys, but before you could introduce yourself and ask about what's going on, the woman continues.
"You may be curious to know why we've called you all here and who we are. But I assure you, this matter is of utmost importance. There is a holotransmission we're going to show you and hopefully this will answer your questions."
The lights began to dim and everyone shifted uneasily, unsure of what to expect. The circular machine at the bottom flashes to life and a familiar blue hologram lit up the room. Words appear, Transmission Start: June 26, 2096. So this was from two days ago. Then the words are replaced by the face of that man from the hololetter. He still looks exhausted. More tired even but he braves on and begins to speak. "We are not alone. You may have heard of the terrorist attack in Moscow," there were murmurs all around the room. They had all heard. A massive explosion and shooting. Thousands were dead. Rumours that a missile was involved. Thats what this was about? A special taskforce to hunt down those terrorists? "I am here to tell you that its not the kind of terrorists that you would expect. Intelligent life has been discovered. Yes. I'm talking about aliens." The entire room broke out into muffled gasps and chuckles of disbelief.
"The missile, as the public calls it. Is actually the landing of what appears to be a small space craft. Four unknown creatures exited the craft and ran amok in Moscow. We sent in three strike teams to deal with the threat. Here is a transmission we received from one of our operatives head cams." A new image flashed onto the screen. Burning buildings, abandoned cars, bodies everywhere. You could see a part an assault rifle, or what appeared to be an assault rifle, you had never seen one like it, poking out at the bottom of the screen. Something flashed across the road, a dark blur. The view swiveled sharply to follow it. And then you saw it. It was like every alien in the movies mashed into one. A little shorter than the average human, with bluish grey skin and bulging purple eyes. It was hunched over, with its long arms reaching to the ground, reminiscent of a gorilla. In one of its three fingered hand, it held a bright green, oddly shaped box. You realized what it was at the same time the person whose head cam footage you were viewing did. An alien weapon. There was a blast of dark green and the screen went dark.
"That operative died immediately. Of the three strike times we sent in, only one operative made it out alive. The alien threat there has been dealt with and cleared, but we are still in grave danger. I am part of a secret organization, the LLED, or the Last Line of Earth Defence created just in case something like this would happen. However, our numbers are small and this issue is pressing. So what we have called you here for is to join us. Join us in defending our countries, our Earth and most importantly, our homes." With that, the transmission ended and the lights came back on. This time nobody said a word. They didn't really know what to say. But you understood, why there were all these different people, scientists, researchers, engineers, pilots, soldiers. They were all needed. You were needed, specially selected.
The woman at the bottom spoke again, "This is a risky duty and many of you may not make it out alive. I understand that. But you were all selected for a reason, you are some of the brightest, the best. You would not be here if we did not believe you were capable for the jobBut if you would like to opt out of this mission. Please remove the flag that you were given at the beginning and place it on the table in front of you." There was a pause. What difference did the flags make? But the soldier beside you pulled off his flag. "I'm sorry. But this is crazy. I've got a wife and three kids at home. I just can't." He set the flag down on the table. Once the flag came in contact with the table, a bright flash of light was emitted, enveloping the soldier. In a few seconds, the light disappeared and the soldier was slumped over the table.
"Not to worry! We just erased his memory of this conference. Its top secret. We can't have people running about on the streets with this information," the woman gestured at the two men flanking her. The two men walked around you and hoisted the soldier up with ease and carried him out of the room. "Anybody else?" Nobody moved. Either they were too scared to or they were in this for good. "Excellent. We have two transport ships waiting outside. I believe all your things have already been loaded. The transports will take you directly to the base. I wish you all the best."
Uhm. So this has been stewing in my head for a while now. Hence the crazy intro. But yes. This takes place in the future with an alien invasion.
So the pairings would be:
Lead Scientist/ Head of R&D x Veteran Soldier*
*Commander x Rookie
I insist that we double up on this one so that we each get a combat role and a non-combat role. I also insist that we play a male and a female but I can be swayed otherwise. I can be quite flexible about which character is what gender so that's fine. I think I'm gonna go with malexfemale couples on this one as well. Unless you can convince me otherwise. But yeah. If there's any other questions send me a PM.
Fandom Stuff:This is just where I'm gonna put my fandom RP interests. Things with the little spoiler thing contains an idea I'd like to play out. But if you do not like the idea, I am still up to RP's set in that world. If it does not have a spoiler, well. I just like that fandom and would like an RP.
I have less of an idea and more of an interesting/ weird character I would like to use. So basically, you know how sometimes you can have twins. But somewhere along the pregnancy, one twin gets stronger than the other and ends up absorbing the other. Yeah its kinda weird, but it happens. So my thought is that you have twins. One a fire bender, one an earth bender. But the earth bender ends up absorbing the fire one. But however, in a weird set of circumstances, the earth one can still he hear his brother's voice in his head and can still bend fire. Its like two minds in one body but only one of the minds controls the body. Yeah its really weird. But that's my weird basis for my character.
But anything set in this world is pretty good for me. I can play a regular bender and what not, as well as cannon characters. I'm also not caught up with the new season like at all.
Harry Potter
I got the idea from that one episode where the TARDIS was put into an actual body. So the Time Lords created a brand new prototype TARDIS, one whose spirit/mind that could manifest into a physical form and interact with its surroundings. One that could fly itself, could be completely self sufficient and didn't really need anyone to pilot it. So when the Time Lock was being put into place. One other Time Lord, displeased with being trapped there, stole this prototype TARDIS. And they have adventures. I'd like to be the TARDIS though.
Pokemon
Bering and Wells. That's my OTP. I can play either pretty well.
I have an OC I designed kinda for Claudia. So I'd like to do a Claudia x OC one. We can double the two pairings here. My OC can be of either gender. So its really up to whoever wants to play Claudia. But you are warned that my OC is a sentient artifact living inside of a human body. Its super complicated. Are you ready? Here we go!
So basically, he. I'm going to call my OC a he for now for simplicity's sake.
He is an ancient artifact by the name of the Flame of Prometheus, or Promethean Fire. When Prometheus stole fire from the gods, he didn't realize that the fire he stole was not so simple. It was sentient, one of many sentient fire creatures that formed flames in Olympus. And you know the rest of the myth. And this fire creature delighted in the mysteries and curiosities of this new world, so after Prometheus was done with the flame, the flame wandered the world freely, learning, hiding, observing. The warehouse tried to catch him multiple times through multiple eras. But he was always a step ahead, eluding agents time and time again. But one day it disappeared. Disappeared for many many years, only to reappear during the Great Fire of Chicago, which he might've helped O'Leary's Cow Bell along a little bit. He couldn't help it, the flames were just so gleeful. He had been trapped. Trapped by accident within Pandora's Box which had been lost during the move of artifacts between Warehouse 3 and 4. But agents from Warehouse 12 at the scene of the Great Fire of Chicago discovered Pandora's box. Against orders, HG Wells cracked open the box, partially curious and partially fearful and out blasted the flame. The agents tried to neutralize it with the goo, only serving to weaken him. Terrified, and weakened, he fled, travelling as fast and far as he could. But he made it to a hospital. It was incredibly lucky of him, but he found a baby. A baby cursed from the start, born strangely, directly into a coma. It was this baby that the merged with and how he recovered his strength.
So his new human body retained his mastery over flames. He also gained an elevated healing and regeneration rate, as well as the ability to transfer some of that over to another. Its rumoured that he can give life. But he doesn't really think so.
Yeah. Its still weird. PM me if you have any questions.
Just straight up Bechloe please. I can play Beca. :D Maybe even Triple Treble. But I don't know how that would play out.
So I have a few super characters.
Alias: HG.
Actual name: Harper Quaye.
Nicknamed after the way that she enjoys manipulating metal, any metal, to flow like a liquid. She can manipulate metals to do anything, usually she just forms a suit of armor out of the metals when she does her superhero thing. She cannot control stones or the earth. Nor can she control magnetic fields. There's also a black disc that she flies around on. Its also what gave her powers. She's pretty strongly disliked in her home city, with a very small group of supporters. She's never really been sensitive but the hatred has really been disheartening lately and HG just hasn't been around much.
Alias: Silence
Actual name: Jael
She doesn't speak. She's far too afraid to. Her father was Erebos, the grey dragon. He had been sealed away, held down with chains, for fear that he would destroy the world. He had no intention to, but there was the risk and of course that couldn't happen. Her mother was a priestess, trying to free Erebos, but he was growing weaker and older. If he escaped, he wouldn't be strong enough to survive at all. So instead, he gave up his strength, spirit and power to the priestess. And within a year and a half, dragons take longer to develop, Jael was born. She doesn't speak because her voice always comes out as a giant blast of dragon roar. She can maintain a human form, a full dragon form or humanoid dragon form. Her reflexes are faster, her skin tougher and her senses sharper. She's also impervious to fire and can breathe dragonfire. But despite her good intentions, everyone, super or not is afraid of her, they're wary. And she's had a hard time adapting to human life.
Actual Name: Rhett Peace
He's Warren Peace's kid. So you would think that he's all that at Sky High. But he's not. He has the uncanny ability to not only control fire, but blue fire. A fire hotter than normal fires, a fire that consumes all other fires. But he can't really control his power. In fact, when he was 10, he accidentally burned his twin, Raelynn, leaving a fireball imprint across her left shoulder blade. She's forgiven him for that but he couldn't ever forgive himself. So instead he vowed to never use his powers. He was placed in the heroes class after accidentally setting another kid's hair on fire in a fit of pure rage but he doesn't do much. He's well liked, always smiling and joking around, but that's usually to hide his fears. He's pretty nice with the sidekicks as well, he's like this weird in between the two classes kind of kid.

Note: Somewhere in the about me/ requirements section I have put my favourite fruit. If you have read the entire thing. Put my favourite fruit in your reply.
Extra Note: Expect this post to be updated with more ideas as they come.
