Across the many systems and stars, there are even more planets and civilisations. Among those, there are the many races of beings, the many mighty empires built up over thousands of years. Countless cities, outposts and fortresses across the galaxy from the past wars. Though it had been over 200 years since any dispute even comparable to the great war.The year is 3045. Interplanetary travel is now used from every planet known, weapons of mass destruction now lay hidden or destroyed, the vast number of species from all across the very universe now interact as if it had been so forever. The Human race does not go without mention, however. As it is one of the races which helped bring an end to the original great war, and it is now leading the way in economic growth across many systems. It begun once the discovery of a new fuel had been made, Barillium 525. Though it had been with the help of the Târuuns, a very intelligent race that were reptillian-like in nature. Though they were, and still are, far ahead of most races when it comes to technology. The Barillium 525 had been made from a super-reaction on a mining planet merely a few light years from Earth back in the year 2877 and is now being mass produced practically everywhere, fuelling massive ships and carriers across entire systems for almost no work. However, the human race did not actually take the change very well. They had become almost /unimportant/ compared to what the other races were doing. The Târuuns were working back at the time upon extreme speed ships to make trades and communications easier between every planet. Another race, the Corellians, were the ones that were building the planet-wide mining stations that all stand even today. Corellians were considerably large creatures, hard workers about everything. But whilst those two races were out changing things on a massive scale, the senate back on Earth simply worried about conflict and how it could ever keep up with the standards of the rapidly changing worlds. Eventually, a good 40% or so of the human race had moved away from Earth. Either to exotic planets where they could make an easy life, or off to explore and make something of themselves. As all that was Earth was common resources, which made it very quickly an ignorable planet. Though it eventually became the largest communication source for almost every race that was accountable for being capable of getting there. Humans had the most powerful satellites and the most capable telescopes for scanning newfound vectors or unmapped quadrants. Even so, as this was the only reason they get along, they suffered the most from the wars that followed. Most Humans do not talk of the war, nor do almost anyone that knows the tales of what happened. But what's important, is that it is not forgotten, which it will never be. The aftermath still remains, though most dare not venture near it.
Although along with the destruction, there was the innovation. It motivated many creations that are used all-over, one of which is the past-flagship the Corsane Imperious. An extremely mobile ship, used in the war for negotiations it had taken its fair share of damage but now rested on a docking station near South America having repairs. It was long overdue, very long. With it were the tens of thousands of other ships that landed everyday and the equal number that left. Millions of trades taking place all the time, and new people coming and going constantly. Which is where this adventure will begin to take place, the evergoing tension between races/species and the infinite number of problems that could arise from it all are things that are solely building. Whether the peace will last or not is merely hoped for, as most people know that should it start up again then it won't go away easily.
You are on Earth, or you somehow ended up on Earth and now the idea of what will happen will slowly reveal itself. Earth has many cities which are easily travelled between with portal stations if you're rich enough, or there are many trader ships that ride between them which can be ridden to wherever you may wish to go. The currency is no longer an interchangeable one, it is Varcons. The rate of which is reasonably low, though with many people being greedy or 'not so friendly' things can be very overpriced on Earth. Be wary where you travel to, something is coming and it is not going to pass unknown..The system around Earth has changed much from what it was over the past 1000 years. There are several trading stations not long away if using a decent ship, but they are often crowded with thousands of people trying to earn money, which makes it almost always filled to the brims with people or monsters.
Even with all the different beings however, there is technology which can translate almost perfectly what they're saying. Most people who can afford one usually buy a droid for the task, as there are many kinds of machines, robots and AI which each made for specific tasks and such. Though there are rogue machines as well, or malfunctioning as people would prefer to call them, these are often ones that are made with advanced AI and can even go to the extent of taking up bounty hunting.Across certain areas of Earth, there are specific guilds. Many are secretive, however, and do not just let people walk through the door and join. Though there are some like the thousand of bounty hunting stations all placed in quite open areas which practically anyone can enter and look for work. They are usually run and owned by anonymous characters. Then there are the far more secretive assassin posts, which often only invite people and every few months change location. These are usually not run by a single person, but two or three. Possibly even a small group of people could be leading one. These are not easily found, but if discovered by a random person then they would likely give opportunity for work. The difference here, however, is that bounty hunters can target pretty much anyone or anything for a price whereas many assassins would only take up high-end jobs targeting important people or things for a high price.Lastly, as the second most open guild, there is the mages sector. They only have a few large buildings such as their libraries and towers, but should someone be clever they could likely be welcomed. These guilds are usually run by either a single powerful person, or a council of people that decide upon what the guild does. They often control the larger libraries around Earth and the members usually are sorcerers or mages although there are many who simply divulge themselves in research of magic. Most of the magic studied or taught is restorative, medicinal kinds of magic used for healing when simple medicine can't. Though there is also lots of aggressive types of magic, such as elemental control. Though these powers take years to use properly. Lastly, there are the sorceries. The sorcerers are very few In number, but almost all of them are inrediblh powerful and capable of summoning what they like, be it weapons or monsters, or as most do they can use elemental control or in some cases they can manipulate another specific thing, it is not uncommon for a sorcerer to control something like electricity or light.Necromancy is existent but incredibly rare, it is almost unheard of and considered a myth to most. And now, in the year 3045, October 23rd for Mankind there is a reasonably large ship coming to Earth which has several important senators and leaders from certain races to discuss the destruction of the final superweapon from the great war. But not all of them have the same intentions or idea of what will happen.
|\/| Ok, as this is the first roleplay I'll be doing on here, I tried to make a decent intro. But please do not complain or hate if there are mistakes or typos, they aren't uncommon. As of current, I will be accepting people dependent on their character. You don't need a seriously detailed character bio, but please include some degree of backstory and general information. Speed posting..eh, as long as its not overboard. There are already a few people accepted which is why this isn't in an interest check, but hey, I'd be happy with more people. Ask anything if needed, I know I can be unclear at times when writing.
