Jack flinched when April hit onto him. "What the fu-" He quickly turned and frowned, but then he only felt bothered. She acted as if she was scared of him, and that bothered him a lot. He looked away from her. Though he knew he wasn't gonna explode because of a slight bump. He went quiet again and glanced around the small space, moving on quickly from the moment.

Robbie managed to keep his expression from going sour when his hand was snatched up in a vice-like grip. Turning to the offending party, his bright, blue eyes sparked with something akin to curiosity. Judging from how this... Thomas had been fucking with the other boy earlier, he didn't seem to have a proper grasp on his emotions. A sense of clinical intrigue stirred up in him as Robbie wondered how far he'd be able to push him before he broke. But, that was something for another time.

"No, no. It's fine, don't worry about it!" Robbie said, the very picture of benevolence. Shifting his gaze to April, he listened to what she was saying. Ah, so it was hypergraphia. It wasn't the most self-destructive disorder, but it was still something. He shifted slightly in his seat and glanced over at the stacks of paper in her bag.

"Hypergraphia, huh? You must be a pretty good writer." Robbie stated with a smile, making a vague hand gesture at the stacks of paper mentioned before.

"What about you, Jack? What's your disorder?" Robbie asked, throwing out the question like it was the most normal thing in the world to be in a school full of "crazies". "Oh, you guys can call me Robbie, by the way. Only my mum calls me Robert."

"Well, nobody has ever read my books, so I don't know if I am a good writer or not.." She said timidly, she was shocked into fear by Jack. April became quieter, she was going to have to be nicer to Jack throughout her stay here, she didn't want to get hurt.

"So, Robbie..." Thomas smiled,
"What are you in here for?" Thomas gave him a shark tooth grin,
"DID?" Thomas tilted his head,
"ADD?" Thomas bit his lip,
"ASPD?" Thomas smiled,
"I'm getting warmer, aren't I? You definitely lack empathy..." If Thomas could be happy, he'd be positively beaming, if he was correct, he was talking to another psychopath,
"Well, you guys seem... normal enough"

"Th-Thomas, you're scaring me" April said timidly, his smile putting her off "H-he doesn't have to say if he doesn't want to" She shuffled closer to Jack, although he scared her slightly he was the one that April thought was the most normal, something seemed a bit off with Robbie.

Jack knew he only showed the smallest bit of annoyance, but he already felt guilty from April's reaction. He glanced to Robbie when he heard his name again. He didn't want to say anything about that side of him, but he decided they all expected everyone here to be crazy somehow.
"I got IED."
Robbie's curiosity was really irritating him though. The guy acted so comfortable in the place like everything was so normal. But Jack just hardened his face and watched him.
"What about you? What's wrong with you?" He asked the two guys.
Excessive friendliness or whatever? he thought, eyeing Robbie.

April sat there shocked at what Jack had just said, she peiced together the words in her head. Intermittent explosive disorder. Fear washed over her, she was sitting next to a guy that, without warning could burst out into an uncontrollable rage, and she was at the centre of it. Without even thinking she blurted out to Jack "please don't hurt me" and instantly regretted those words.

"Me?" Thomas smiled at Jack,
"Doctors, what do they know?, seem to think that I have..." Thomas had to think quick, they'd never trust him if he told them the truth,
"Attention Deficit Disorder" Thomas smiled at April,
"I'm sorry to have scared you" He rubbed her shoulder in an effort to comfort her,
"I'm just a big ol' drama queen"

Jack heard April but didn't acknowledge what she said. He's heard those four words a lot from other kids from school and the playground near his house and so far he's ignored them each time. Besides, he didn't know what to say. She's probably too scared of him already. She's probably scared of all of us in here, actually.

Instead he turned to Thomas with his eyebrows raised. "I've never heard of a guy murdering his family 'cause of ADD," he spoke in a simple tone.
The guy was lying about himself, it was obvious to Jack. Or he's convinced he's normal. Which is even crazier.

Robbie contemplated his next course of action as Thomas tried to guess his disorder. He certainly didn't want to reveal his hand this early on, but then again, it seemed like the other already knew about his psychopathy. It was likely that Thomas had the same thing as him, as well. In the end, he decided to keep it under wraps, at least for now. He casually reached into his mind for a viable excuse before opening his mouth to speak. His words were tinged with a sufficiently sullen tone to solidify his statement. "Alexithymia, actually. Not really a mental disorder. But Papa would do anything to keep his grubby hands on the company."

It wasn't a complete lie. Alexithymia was characterised by the sufferer's inability to identify their emotions. And his father had indeed wanted to send him away. He had learned what all skilled liars register if they’re ever to make a career of it: always appropriate as much of the truth as possible. And however short, his tale was laced with elegant touches: Using "Papa" when he had previously eschewed the cutesy sobriquet lent his story a cuddly, affectionate cast that fantastically belied the real story.

Meanwhile, Thomas had mentioned how he had ADD. To be honest, he didn't think it true, at all. But that was mostly because he knew the signs of psychopathy when he saw them. It was like looking into a funhouse mirror, the way Thomas' qualities seemed a distorted version of his own. But for now, he was happy to keep the rest of them in the dark, he was curious as to how things would unfold.

"You're scaring me even more now. I know that's a lie. ADD isn't enough to get you in a place like this. I don't care what your disorder is, but what your motive for lying is what I care about" She said, then tucked her knees into her chest. She made sure she couldn't even mildly annoy Jack with anything she does, because he might go into a fit.

Thomas looked at April with intrigue,
"It's enough to get you here when you murder your family..." Thomas looked over at Robbie, he could see through his facade,
"Alexithymia?" Thomas knew that this was a lie, he knew that Robbie was dead inside... Just like himself, perfect-dead inside Thomas...
"April, you don't have to believe me of course... As long as you stop prying" Thomas shifted his gaze to April,
"Just... stop" Thomas smiled at her before looking at Jack,
"So, IED? What did you do to get thrown in here? Beat up your mother?"

Flint couldn't help but laugh a little in his seat. These imaginary people where definitely different, or hell maybe they weren't imaginary. At least not all of them.
He heard them talk about mental illness and lies and truths where spurted. A few people that didn't exist even answered him making Flint even more confused of who was real and not.
"When it comes down to it" Flint said to thin air. "Who's to say what is real or not.." This was Flints catchphrase, the brain interprets everything we do. We know it can be made to sense things. Such as what happens with dreams. And so how do we know that anything truly exists?

Jack watched and noticed how April was behaving but turned to answer Thomas.

"No, that was my dad's thing." Jack smiled, weirdly getting amused by what he said. Maybe I'm getting more psycho. Maybe it's in the air.
"Nah, I did a lot of things." He decided not to get specific.

He shifted his eyes to April. "You're scared? You should have expected that, going to a school for the insane," he told her with some anger finally flowing through his words, and then took a deep breath. As much as he wanted to get into this girl's good side, the way she acted so careful and fearful around him was annoying. It wasn't fun being treated like a bomb all the time.

"Ugh..." The long-haired kid was recovering from the taser and starting to get up. "That battle did not go in the King's favor..." he mumbled as he went back to the place where he'd been sitting before.

"COWARD!" He yelled to the front where the guard that tased him had gone.

April froze. Anger began to flow through Jack's words, and she was sat right next to him, she knew now, that if she made a move to escape, it might set him off, so she stayed completly still. "Thomas. Murder isn't part of an ADD sufferer's M.O. It's not part of what they do, there must be something else."

"A M.O requires a crime, that crime was murder..." Thomas looked at her with cold and dead eyes,
"It's in your best interest to leave this one alone" He said in a whisper that slithered into her ear from his snake lips,
"I urge you to stop prying" Thomas sat upright and clicked his neck, watching the boy who had been tased get back up, he chuckled to himself

Jack stayed silent while he tried to contain his feelings back. His throat was aching, just trying not to say anything more. When he became certain he wasn't gonna lose himself, he took April's arm. He was trying to be gentle, but it uncontrollably ended up being a tighter grip than he wanted. But he just yanked on her arm.

"Leave it, Jesus, stop prying on him," he muttered angrily, repeating Thomas' words to her. "Just stop."

He glanced towards Thomas, deciding the other guy was probably worse. He did murder his parents, after all. As much as he knew how April felt about him now, he wanted to be helpful at the least. If Thomas bursts, and he seemed like he would, Jack might too, and he was avoiding it.

At all the commotion, Calum started to wake up. He looked over and tugged on his sister's sleeve. "Noona, are we there yet?" He groaned. Astrid responded by shaking her head. She was quickly distracted by the boy who had woken up after getting tasered. Calum decided to sit up from his seat and peek out at April, Thomas, and Jack who were having a conversation behind them.
