You know how the age-old saying goes. Finders, keepers. It's the creed of the thief. Your sticky fingers just always seem to end up in rich pockets, grabbing coin, jewel, and trinket. You have a knack for waiting in shadows, always hungry. Driven by greed. Larceny runs through your veins. Thievery always on the mind. Walking the cobbled streets of the morning, where others see citizens and townsfolk, you see targets and possibility. No guards looking. No danger in the area. Nice and quiet. Time to find you a fancy new coin purse.

All of this opportunity, of course, comes with a risk. A great one. A caught thief is a dead thief. A lone thief is a caught thief. Only takes one wrong movement, one misstep, one touch to a chap's bum before he realizes the emptiness of his pocket and the person right behind him, former contents of said pocket in the red hands of the thief. Our organization exists to unify as a band of thieves and make as much coin as possible, making sure our own don't get caught, and et cetera. Essentially, we're a group of people who would love nothing more than to rob the rich blind and find themselves with new possessions. Welcome to our Guild.
So, how'd you guys and gals like the intro? ^^

I had an idea for an RP centered on thievery, and the organization of. If you always loved playing the rogue character in RPGs and MMOs, this is for you. No louts with bulky armor. No prudes in robes able to do a few tricks. Essentially, this will be fairly open, without too much of a plot at the moment. Basically, this was made on the will of the moment. If this gets any interest, I will work to further improve this...thing. Feedback and advice is greatly appreciated~

Seems like a nice RP, and I've always preferred the thief/rogue class. I'm interested.

Would love to get in on this. Mages are my main class archetype, but rogues are an easy second ^_^

I can only assume thanks to the MMORPG reference that there is some magical element to this? If so, how much? I'm assuming also that wizards of significant power have better means of making coin than helping out rogues.

An interesting something I've used in my tabletop RPG events is not prohibiting warrior types but making the open carry of a bow or any blade longer than six inches illegal. That way the warrior types are dependent on the rogues for smuggling in the very weapons that the warriors use to defend the rogues!

I'm certainly interested in this. Especially with Douglas Hulick having just released his second novel in his Tale of the Kin series. If anyone's really into thieves, I highly suggest reading Among Thieves and Sworn in Steel by the above author. You won't be disappointed. :D

Not too much magic. Mages are rare and few, and magic isn't overly powerful. Think more like alchemy and transmogrification. It wouldn't really matter, anyways.
And, that idea is interesting. Might just be enforced by the law ;)

Also:
Noire, nice avatar and signature. Twitch plays Pokémon. All hail the mighty Helix fossil.
Unending, I like the Watamote signature.

I think I have enough interest to make an OOC for this.
Which I will get around to doing eventually.

Also, I'm going to need one of you fellows to help me. I need a co-GM to be on more than I can. Any takers?
