I was assuming it was having to do with the crew: he was a natural choice simply because his Academy scores were outstanding and his recent years of study means he is more familiar with the top-of-the-line technology of the ETU that a more experienced/older pilot wouldn't necessary understand.

I can change it though, if that doesn't work!

Hey pyroman, do you mind if I take a few liberties to get Leo into contact with Booker? I was thinking that the Earth Peace Task Force may have requested (or requisitioned) Leo via the Alliance Military, as far as the books are concerned he's getting some unrelated and low-key no-attention assignment when in actuality he's being brought straight to whoever in the EPTF is in charge of the 'operation'. Perhaps Leo is brought into an office for his 'assignment' and is face with a proposal by this person in charge who then puts him into contact with Booker.

If this is too complicated/doesn't fit though, I understand. What are your thoughts?

That sounds pretty good, Lupus. The guy behind it all probably would do something like that, because even Booker couldn't appeal to everyone around him.

You could use the same guy that contracted booker in the first couple posts. He's going to play a pretty big part later on, so I'm going to need him to be in a lot of places.

Wow, it has taken me an uncomfortable amount of time to realize that you meant In-character, not interest check.
